ATom Hanger Home ImprovementIf I needed to use one word to describe my experience with Tom Hanger Home Improvement, from initial meeting to job completion, it would be superlative. I can say without hesitation that the entire process was the smoothest, most professional I've had in the eighteen years I have been a homeowner. We bought our current home, built in 1999, last March. To say that the builders-grade siding and windows needed to be replaced is an understatement. Faded in spots, terrible trim work and leaky windows, the whole exterior of our home looked tired. I started the process of researching replacement vinyl siding and windows last fall, and like any good consumer, had several estimates form different contractors. While each had something to offer, it wasn't until I contacted Tom Hanger Home Improvement, and met Mr. Rick Hylton in my driveway the very same day, that I knew who was going to work on our home. Now, having the siding ripped off your house and virtually all the windows removed is daunting enough by itself. Add to that the fact that we have not been too satisfied with some of the work previously done by other contractors, including four new windows already installed (incorrectly) by a local siding and window installer, I was, to say the least, apprehensive about the whole project. Well, when Rick Hylton says "Don't worry, we got this", those are not just words, it's as good as a guarantee. Rick's crew, led by his foreman Caleb, are superb craftsmen, and take true pride in their work, something I've found is increasingly rare these days. Arriving promptly each morning of the job, any questions or concerns I had were addressed quickly and followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with the results. In home improvement work, like much of life in general, it is the little things that make a difference, and it is attention to details and these little things that make the people of Tom Hanger Home Improvement truly stand out. Due to some pre-existing fixtures, including the chimney and gates/steps leading to the front porch, some of the trim work was challenging. Add to that the fact that I don't think there are two truly "square" angles on the whole house, and you have the basis for things not looking well if not done correctly. Needless to say, the final product is oustanding. The window measurements and fit were right on the money, and again, due to a previously installed metal roof over the front porch, there were some fit and trim issues to contend with, as well as the problem of actually being able to work on the metal roof without damage and safety issues. Once again, this was handled without any problems by these extremely skilled craftesmen. Originally, I was interested in residing the house only, but as we worked through the process, I added the majority of the remaining windows, and the soffit and trim for the front porch, with no upselling or pressure from Rick. It just made sense to do as much as our finances allowed at one time, because I knew without any reservations after several meetings with Rick Hylton that I would be satisfied with the end results. The final result is exactly what I had hoped it would be, both in appearance and quality of the work. We've actually pulled into the driveway on more than one occasion and stopped, just looking at our home, and having a feeling of pride that we did not have before in the look of our house. In the spring, we hope to have a new roof installed by Tom Hanger Home Improvement, completing the new look of our existing home. In summary, I can, without any reservations whatsoever, highly recommend Mr. Rick Hylton, his company Tom Hanger Home Improvement, and perhaps most importantly his wonderful employees. AExcellent- The Alamo crew arrived on time, remover the 2 layers of old shingles , installed GAF shingles over new GAF synthetic felt barrier & GAF roof leak barriers/ice dam protection along with pre-coated galvanized metal flashing. Installed new roof ridge vents with GAF high profile cap shingles. Upon completion of the roof work they did an impeccable clean up around the whole area including sidewalk, driveway & street. The Alamo crew is very professional & they did everything they could to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work. They went above & beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Alamo Roofing as a very competent trust worthy contractor. As a Navy veteran I say BRAVO ZULU9A job Well Done).

AEvery aspect of our roof replacement from start to finish was perfect! The initial inspectors did a great job, and they explained everything they were looking for and finding during the initial inspection. They were friendly and courteous! Once we decided on shingles, the replacement was FAST!!! The crew came around 7 am on a Friday, and they were done with roof removal, plywood replacement, and new roof by around 3:15pm! They did an outstanding job protecting our home and all of the surrounding landscaping! The crew was always courteous and friendly! The team that I communicated with, Heather, Ana and Kyle were all amazing and communicated in a timely and clear manner! The entire experience was outstanding, and my wife and I are grateful to the folks at Paul Davis Restoration!

FThe estimate was a sham - it took two and a half hours - the expectation was, once you put in all of that time, how would you just walk away from a renovation that was more than double of any other estimate, Then, the car -dealer borrowed sham - call into manager to get a better deal - twice!!! And the price was still way over market. But - if you booked it right then, $10,000 less than next day; $20,000 less than 9 months hence. The contractor would not provide an estimate, until you walked through every decision the bathroom renovation would entail. This was disgusting. I think also a sham for seniors. I would not recommend.
