APestNow LLCI discovered that we had birds living in our dryer exhaust vent and I contacted several pest control companies to get assistance with the issue. I had 3 different companies (one beingPestNow) come to the house on Monday, May 1st to provide free estimates. It is extremely important to me to get the best price and service for anything I shop for. My husband and I work during the day, but my mother in law kindly agreed to stay at the house to be there for the estimates. I asked her to let me know how friendly and professional the various companies were. I believe Jason was the name of the technician that came to our home on Monday. Not only did he offer the best price, but he had the best customer service hands down. My mother in law was very complimentary of him. We appreciated that he put covers on his shoes so he didn’t track any dirt into our home. It’s the little things like that that really make a difference. After getting all 3 quotes and hearing about each tech I knew that PestNow was for us. I was very happy that Jason returned the next day to take care of our vents. He arrived promptly at 9am and was done by 9:30am. I am extremely satisfied with the service we received. Jason was thorough, professional and personable! He did a fantastic job. AHelping Hands Pest ControlLess than 2 hours after I first went on Angie's List, the Owner Ryan, contacted me and personally arrived at my home. AFTER 5pm on a Friday afternoon. He was personable and professional and did a preliminary treatment in the sudden thunderstorm, then came back on Monday to make sure the job was done right! ACSI Home and Commercial ServicesI gave them a D for punctuality since they did not show at all for the first appointment and did not return phone calls initially. I was not able to find out what happened. They did make another appointment and showed up timely the second time and did the job. We decided based on the person who did show to get the annual contract with them. They had done our home inspection when we bought the house last year and we were very happy with that service. That is the only reason we decided to give them a second chance on this.- Linda P.

On schedule arrival day after call to their office - great turnaround on a sudden problem. Technician was very knowledgeable and carefully thorough in examining possible sources of the problem. Bait and spray is designed to withstand the frequent rain we have in this area. Very reasonable cost given the treatment area. Also very honest - did not try to exaggerate problems (only ants, no termites) although I could not tell the difference.- Nancy E.

AI switched over to Raven Termite and Pest Control after being a customer with another company for 15+ years. I wasn't happy with the services I was receiving with the other company and finally decided to make the switch. Our previous pest control company was supposedly "monitoring" an outside bait system at our house for mice, but there was never any activity in the trap (according to their records). Within a week of working with Raven, the outside bait system they put out revealed evidence of mice activity as did the inside traps they put down. The folks at Raven are top notch and I feel confident that our mice problem is finally getting resolved. Raven is a family owned business that truly cares about their customers and provides excellent service. I am so happy I made the switch. I just wish I had done it years ago!

ACSI was flexible and was able to schedule a home inspector the day after I got a bid accepted on a house. The inspector, Patrick, showed up on time and the inspection took about 4 hours. Patrick was responsive to any questions I had by email or live during the inspection. My one recommendation is that I requested a pest, mold, radon, and home inspection. It would be a better heads up if they explained that they sometimes outsource the radon inspection depending on availability of radon inspectors. Also, they can explain a bit more for new home buyers what is involved with a mold inspection. Patrick ended up just eyeing whether he spotted any mold. Because he did not see any mold, we did not have to pay extra for mold samples.

AExcellent. Met with Jessie James' Lead Technician, Will. Highly personable and professional interaction. Discussed with Will, issues concerning a woodpecker that began boring holes into my home's wall beginning about two weeks ago. Will discussed mitigation options as well as some of the difficulties in dealing with woodpecker behavior. Will installed three "flashers" onto my home's eaves. He additionally repaired the holes left by the woodpecker. The flashers also came with a 90-warranty. An educational experience to say the least.
