  My experience working with Chris Hagan was 100% positive. Chris impressed me from the get-go by how he runs his business. He places a premium on communication. First, he provided detailed contracts and went over them with me line-by-line. I understood exactly what to expect and was never faced with unpleasant surprises. Second, he was never too busy to talk to me or answer questions, literally making himself available day or night. Third, he kept me in the loop regarding scheduling and project status. All of this made working with him frustration-free. As I have no construction background, I needed a lot of guidance when planning my projects. Chris gave me great ideas and always gave me options from which to choose, sometimes offering aesthetic differences, sometimes budgetary. His expertise was invaluable. I am very happy with all of the work; obviously I wouldn���t give an excellent rating otherwise. The process bears further detail. Without exception, the work crews were skillful, personable and careful to inconvenience me as little as possible while they were here. Taking their cue from Chris, they even helped me with some minor handyman-type matters while on-site, just to make my life easier. They were terrific. Last, and by no means least, Chris is dedicated to making his clients happy. As the projects progressed, he cheerfully rolled with the punches, making changes to conform to my evolving wishes. Undoubtedly such things were frustrating for him, but he never made me feel like I was making his life difficult, bless his heart. I hope that seeing some of the reasoning behind my excellent rating will help you decide to consult Chris Hagan. Personally, I think anyone who passes up an opportunity to work with him is absolutely nuts. I���ll never hire anyone else.

  Tom Dunlap (owner) was great to work with. We started the process in the spring with an estimate and we finally made up our minds in June. We wanted to change the color of the house and Tom brought many samples for us the look at. He provided good advice on color selection. He didn't try to sell us stuff we didn't need. The installation went went well. The crew was nice and courteous. The cleanup was very good. There were a few things that had to be corrected and that was taken care of quickly. We think the house wrap and new windows has made a noticeable difference in in keeping the house cooler. Overall Culpeper Windows & Siding did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone needing windows or siding installed.

  Very professional, and obviously experienced, roofing crew arrived on time as scheduled each day.  Immediately began work.  Worked non-stop except for a quick lunch break each of the two days the job lasted. 

  To prevent any damage to either the back deck or our shrubs near the house, the crew covered everything with heavy tarps while they tore off the old roof and installed the new one.  No collateral damage done.

  After the first day's work, the crew cleaned and swept the entire yard, etc. as if it was the last day and they were not returning.  Knowing they were coming back to work the next day, I told them it was not necessary to do all (what I considered) unnecessary extra effort cleaning up the yard, etc.  The crew said they always do that anyway.  (Note:  When all the work was completed at the end of the second day, they cleaned up perfectly again.  No complaints about the roofers leaving any trash, nails, shingles, etc. behind).

  The new roofs on both our house and large shed are exactly what my wife and I hoped for, and we could not be more pleased at this time.

  Superiors One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning

  All the workers worked like pros installing the seamless gutters. They were most interested in us being satisfied with the job. Clean up of all the little scraps and nails was excellent. They even used a magnet in the yard to pick up stray parts.

  Paul Henry's Window Installation Inc

  We LOVE these guys.  We have actually contracted with them on two separate occasions.  The first was in 2009 when we had our siding, doors and windows replaced and also had them redo our covered front porch and wrap all the wood.  Paul actually came to our house to discuss the various products the company sells.  He was very educated in the products and we were very impressed that he, the owner, came to our home to talk with us and give the estimate.  We had three separate companies give us estimates and we were, by far, most impressed with Paul Henry's prices and products.  The crew was wonderful, it was obvious to us that they take great pride in their workmanship.  We were very impressed with the job they did and recommended them to several of our friends. 
  In 2013, we decided to have an addition added to our home.  We used a large northern virginia company who "assured" us that the siding would look as good as the siding job that Paul Henry's had done.  We were very disappointed; the siding job on the addition looked terrible and we got into a battle with that company that led to them crediting us the amount they charged to do the siding portion of the job.  We called Paul Henry and asked if he would come to our home and assess the siding situation.  He gave us an estimate to "undo" what the other contractor had done and redo it correctly.  Paul Henry and his crew completed the work  and once again, we are completely thrilled with the job!  He removed all of the siding the other contractor had installed incorrectly and started from scratch. The siding on the addition now looks as beautiful as the siding on the rest of our house! 
  If you are considering having anything done to your house, please consider using this company!  I became a member of Angie's list specifically to comment about these guys. I don't have enough nice things to say about Paul, his office staff and his work crew ~ they are truly just a wonderful company to do business with.

  Roof Works Of Virginia Inc

  Roof Works responded the same day that I called to come and patch the roof and protect it againist the weather. They were also willing to work around my schedule and they finished the work as promised. Vincent Grigsby was very easy to deal with on the phone.and he made teh entire process as painless as such a big purchase can be. They also did a great job of cleaning up the work site.
