This company cannot repair Samsung model. If this was the first year that Samsung had came out with a washing machine I could see this. This machine is over 4 years old. They did send me a message over the weekend that they could not work on it and also followed up with a call. Just giving folks a heads up to not even waste your phone call if you have a Samsung. Loss of business for them. They referred me to talk with Sears. Disappointed.

AVOID In early September, I called the warranty repair service on my dryer because it was not producing heat. The repairman shows up to assess my machine. The first guy was decent and cordial. He tells me that they will order the part and call me when it is in so they can reschedule an appointment to come back out and fix the machine. So, a week passes with no word, and my boys - and the high schooler's sports gear - are getting riper than stinky cheese on a hot summer's day... I call them and ask when they plan to finish my repair. I am told "uh, we have the part, but it isn't logged into our system, so once it is logged, we will call you to set up your appointment." Apparently, that takes four days. FOUR. Days. For a part you can get through Amazon PRIME in 2. So they call me 4 days later and set up the appointment. (I got the impression that they forgot to order the part in the first place) A different guy comes out to fix the machine with a bad attitude - seemed like I was inconveniencing him by having him come fix my machine.... I wrote it off to maybe he was having a bad day, and I was just glad my machine was fixed. And it was fixed. For a week... then, my daughter informs me that the dryer "clicked and now it isn't spinning." I call my warranty repair service again, thinking the machine must be crap (even though it's a Whirlpool, and highly rated/reviewed). The guy at the warranty place tells me that he worked on those machines for years before taking the phone job, and sometimes that happens when a repairman fixes a machine, the belt can "walk off" the thing that spins it. So, within 90 days, the repair company is to come out and fix it. The guy shows up yesterday (same guy that "fixed" my dryer a week ago) gets into my laundry room and tells me "since it is within 90 days, the warranty service isn't paying us to look at it, so it is a $40 fee." I say "No. It isn't. I have a warranty that I paid for, and you can make arrangements with them." He tells me "It is to cover our trip out here, and the time. We don't work for free." I told him that this was a warranty repair, and since he was the warranty repair person, I was not paying anything and they'd have to work it out with the company that they were contracted through. He said he'd have to call his office. I said please do. He went outside, called, came back in and told me that if the warranty service opened a new ticket and dispatched them, he could come back out. Of course, that means, waiting who knows how long until I get back on their schedule..... I said look, the warranty guy said sometimes when the machine is put back together if it's not just right the belt can walk off, and it should be a simple fix. He got very indignant and said "I put it back together right. I didn't take it apart form the front, I went in the back. It was a tiny fuse and a tiny screw." I don't care how he did it. He worked on my machine, then my machine stopped spinning.... And he REFUSED to even look at it without payment. I am convinced that they were trying to take advantage of me and the desperate need of a mother of 4 to be able to do laundry. I think most people would just pony up the $ to get the machine fixed, but my machine remains as broken as the character and integrity of this company and its representatives! The issue has been escalated through my warranty repair service and they are working on it, but in the meantime.... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

We called and he was in the area so he came the same day. He repaired the icemaker and ran it through a couple of cycles to be sure it worked. It seems there was a plug of ice in the upper end of the tubing that was blocking the water. While he was doing the repair he kept saying he thought it was a valve or a pump (we cant remember which) that needed to be replaced and that we really needed to have a plumber come and put a shut off valve in the water pipe behind the fridge. We gave him a check and he left. Five minutes after he left we noticed water was leaking through the dispenser on the front of the door and running down onto the floor. It was also spraying water inside the freezer. We called him right away and the first thing he said was you have another problem. He went back to talking about a valve/pump that he thought needed to be replaced and that that was probably the issue. We said that we did not think he could diagnose the new problem without looking at the unit. We asked him to come back since it had only been 10 or 15 minutes and he said he was on his way to another town. He offered to come back when he had another job in our town area and we told him that was not acceptable that we need it fixed. He agreed to come back the next day. He arrived and discovered that there was another ice blockage in the ice tray that did not get cleaned out the first time. He cleaned out the second ice blockage and the icemaker now works fine. As he was leaving he said something like he hoped we didnt have to end up having that pump/valve replaced in the future.

Serviceman arrived as planned and knew what was wrong immediately. He had part with him and made repair. He asked if I had any coupons, which I did, and discounted service. He made the estimate of cost and I agreed.

Troy Frazier spent a good amount of time on the phone with me when I contacted him. He listened to my description of a dishwasher which had decided it was going to simply refuse to empty its water.  I had watched a few uTube videos and done a little troubleshooting and had decided that it was the discharge pump.  He said not to be too sure of that and explained the other things which could be causing the issue.  He explained that he would come and do the diagnosis and that he would also help me weigh the options to decide if it was wiser to repair it or get a new dishwasher.
He arrived exactly at the appointed time, was neatly dressed and personable.  He brought in his tools and set about doing the diagnosis.  Needless to say I won't be having a career in dishwasher repair because he was right -- it was NOT the discharge pump but the module which tells the discharge pump what to do and when.  He had the model of module we needed on his truck and made quick work of installing and testing it.  He ran it through a few cycles and pronounced it "healed" much to my delight.
He is absolutely an honest man because he could have easily replaced the discharge pump AND the module and I would never had known that all we actually needed was the module.  He'd have made more money and I'd have been left in happy ignorance believing that my uTube diagnosis was correct.
This is a patient and kind person.  He saw I was interested and several times during the process stopped to explain in detail what he was doing and why and how the module worked.
Troy was neat and clean in his work and you'd never know he'd been here unless you noticed the now-working dishwasher.  His charges are certainly reasonable and his work skillfully done.  And honesty in a business is the highest valued trait you can hope to find.  We will be calling him for any of our future appliance repairs and we'd recommend him for any appliance repair you may have.

    Piedmont Appliance Repair, Inc.
Haven't had the need for major appliance repair in a number of years.
Found Piedmont Appliance though Angies List and was not disappointed!
Dave promptly returned my phone call, showed up to the rental property
when he said he would, was spot on with his estimate, and was able to
fix both problems on the spot!
My tenant told me that Dave was
very professional. Two weeks later our personal dryer stopped working,
called Dave again, same experience......he was great! Dave is a pro and
my go to guy for all future (hope that its not many) major appliance
    repairs. Highly recommended.
Its great to find a local business in the Culpeper area that is honest, on time, and on budget.

Our ice maker and dispenser stopped working after the big July storm (we hooked it up to a generator and apparently the cord was not large enough to handle the frig - lesson learned!!). Piedmont came out when promised and gave us an estimate. He had to order a new icemaker and told us it would take about a week. He called when it came in and set up a time to install it - once again on time and within the estimate. He also fixed the dispenser. You think you can do without one, but it sure is a pain to not have it when you have become used to it!! We would definitely use him again.

My washer would not work, and I checked Angie's List for appliance repair. I chose Piedmont Appliance Repair, and I am so glad I did! Dave was here exactly when he said he would be. He fixed my washer in about 2.7 seconds (don't ask what was wrong, I am too embarrassed to tell you). We had a good laugh about how silly this service call was--and while we were laughing, he noticed a plumbing oddity in the drain pipes for the washer. He said "I'm no plumber, but would you like me to fix that?" I agreed at once, and he went to his truck and got a hack saw, cut through the PVC pipe, and retightened the odd joint. It works perfectly--no more drips--and it was all part of the service. A nice, nice, man. Warm, personable and professional. Top marks!

The serviceman arrived punctually and quickly diagnosed the problem. A quick part change and the dryer was as good as new. He even answered a question I had about a problem I was experiencing with my fluorescent lights in the utility room. The cost was reasonable and the 10% discount honored. Excellent work and attitude.
