We called Troy because we have used him to our great satisfaction in the past. ATroy-Bilt ConstructionI live in Spokane, WA and own this property in Elkton, VA. The property is rented. I was back there last year and fould the house in need of some repair.Being so far away I was concerned about finding a good contractor to do the work. I contacted Angies list in the area and found Troy listed. I contacted Troy by phone and set up a time to meet with him when I would be in VA. I visited the area in May of 2012, met Troy, we visited the house and he got estimates together on the work to be performed before I left the area to return to Spokane.I felt very comfortable with everything and signed the contract for the work to be done. Knowing I would not see the completed work except in pictures until I return in October, I felt comfortable with what had been decided.The work is now complete, pictures look great and I am satisfied with Troy's performance. I will use his services again when I decide on the next steps to take at the house.- FE L.

A3D Benchmark BuildersThey gave me a very prompt and complete estimate. They also were very timely and clean about the job site. They kept me informed as we went along exactly what they were doing. AD&E Home ImprovementsCalled David on a Saturday evening when I realized in a panic that I had no water. He came early the very next morning, Sunday, and wasted no time pulling all the line from the well, going to Lowes himeself and getting the new line and pump, and coming back and putting it all back in within a few hours. Use him for anything from well problems to new flooring, I haven't found a thing that he and his experienced helper haven't been able to tackle for an affordable price.- Jennifer G.

AAugusta Steam-ItJoe Hartley was prompt in meeting me and provided an estimate on the spot. The estimate was reasonable and clearly documented, broken down as I requested. initially scheduling was a challenge, as Augusta Steam-it and I had to negotiate a time when they could paint and I could be at the site. We eventually worked this out. Once that was settled Augusta Steam-it and Joe were prompt and efficient each day. The work was completed on time, and Joe was responsive to a couple of items I identified or asked about. they also honored the Angies list coupon. Joe and Augusta Steam-it provided very good service, and I would use them again.- thomas d.

APremier VinylWorking with Premier Vinyl was a privilege from the first contact until the project was completed. It was a major project which encountered several delays from city building inspectors, but Premier Vinyl did everything possible to meet the requests of the city in building our new deck and balcony. AEd was easy to contact, fast to give the fair quote on work, very detail oriented and honest to deal with. The workers did an outstanding job, right on schedule and on budget. I have never seen drywall work done that was completed and cleaned so well you wouldn't know it was just done! We were very impressed and will definitely hire them again!

FThe estimate was a sham - it took two and a half hours - the expectation was, once you put in all of that time, how would you just walk away from a renovation that was more than double of any other estimate, Then, the car -dealer borrowed sham - call into manager to get a better deal - twice!!! And the price was still way over market. But - if you booked it right then, $10,000 less than next day; $20,000 less than 9 months hence. The contractor would not provide an estimate, until you walked through every decision the bathroom renovation would entail. This was disgusting. I think also a sham for seniors. I would not recommend.

AIn all honesty I would definitely hire Absolute Construction again. They made it very easy and simple. With my project I had a limited amount of money I could use because I was turning the apartment into a rental space. Absolute Construction went above and beyond to make sure my job was completed and they hooked me up on the price because they knew I was on a very limited budget. I will be calling them again.

FI am a 65 year old disabled veteran taking care of my 95 year old mother. We went with Long Roofing thinking we would have a professional experience. Furthest thing from the truth. Install was bad. No communication between anyone in the company to resolve issues. Repair/replace has been pursued since install in November of 2018. Company has refused to acknowledge mistakes even after numerous "inspections", a large number of photos and independent inspector I had to hire at my expense to validate my issues. I have had to go through more than The company seems too busy to take care of their customers correctly. I am still in the process of trying to get my roof fixed from their install and it is March of 2019.

FParamount couldn't get the bill to us in a timely fashion. I called them and they would only speak to my husband - even though we both filled out the paper work and met with them as a couple. Do they understand it is 2020? What a chauvinistic company. My female money will spend elsewhere. Their work is overshadowed by their crappy customer service. Horrible!
