AExcellent service. I can’t say enough good things about the incredibly talented, intelligent and caring Dr. Mark and Kelly Gottschalk. I followed them from a previous practice over 20 years ago and don’t mind driving the distance to have them take care of my animals. I trust they always make the correct diagnosis and recommendation based on what is best for my pet. I’m offered choices with pros and cons of each. The staff is fantastic and well educated. Most are licensed Vet Techs and have been at Wellesley for many years. There is always followup by either the Veterinarian or his staff to check on how my pet is doing following all visits and procedures. It has always been an overall great experience and I would not ever dream of bringing any of my pets anywhere else.

CTHE FACILITY AND THE SURGERY WAS TOP RATE. BECAUSE OF THIS, I WILL GO AGAIN IF NEED BE. THE PROFESSIONALISM SUCKED. IT WAS THE WORSE AND MADE MY EXPERIENCE TRAUMATIC. THE MANAGER (DRIVING A WHITE) CAR WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL (SHE WOULD NOT PROVIDE HER NAME). SHE IS VERY TEXT BOOK AND WAS NOT PERSONABLE AT ALL. I CAME TO THEM BECAUSE THIS IS THEIR PROFESSION AND LEFT FEELING LIKE SOMEONE NEEDS A CLASS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY DOG ARRIVED. I EXPLAINED HIS VET ANXIETY TWO DAYS PRIOR. IF YOU JUST RUSH HIM TO TAKE BLOOD AND STUFF HE GETS IRRITATED. I EXPLAINED THAT YOU HAVE TO WARM HIM UP...WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY, THEY JUST RUSHED HIM AND HE TRIED TO...AS THEY SAY...BITE AND THEY COULD NOT GET HIS BLOOD. ONE HE DOES NOT BITE HE JUST SAYING LEAVE HIM ALONE CAUSE HE WAS IN PAIN. THEY BRING HIM OUT AND THEIR FIRST SUGGESTION IS TO LEAVE AND THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY. NOW THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION FOR ME BECAUSE I HAD DRIVEN FROM MARYLAND (2 HOURS). THEN THEY SAY THEY CAN ONLY DO IT WITH A MUZZLE ON...SO I SPEND THE NEXT HOUR TRYING TO GET IT ON HIM (HE SNAPPING AT ME TOO) BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT A MUZZLE IS. AFTER I GET IT ON, WHILE THEY ARE WALKING HIM IN THE DOOR, THE MANAGER (WHITE TOYOTA TWO DOOR I BELIEVE) IS ASKING ME IF THEY ARE TO CONTINUE...I KEEP WALKING AND THEN SHE SAYS AS MY DOG IS GOING IN THE DOOR TO THE FACILITY THAT THEY NEED AN ANSWER. MY RESPONSE WAS DON'T YOU HAVE HIM IN YOUR CUSTODY...SHE THEN WENT IN SIDE...THAT WAS JUST DUMB. I DIDN'T FIGHT WITH HIM FOR ONE HOUR TO TURN BACK. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THEY WOULD ASSIST WITH ME GETTING HIM IN THE TRUCK AFTER THE SURGERY...WELL THAT NEVER HAPPENED. THE SAME MANAGER, AS SHE IS BRINGING HIM TO THE TRUCK STATES THAT FOR THEIR SAFETY THEY CANNOT ASSIST ME. THEY REMOVED THE MUZZLE. NOW IN MY HEAD, WHY SINCE YOU SEEM TO BE SCARED OF HIM. FOR FORTY FIVE MINUTES, THE MANAGER STOOD THEIR WATCHING ME TRY TO GET HIM IN THE TRUCK. MY DOG IS TERRIFIED. HE HAS A CONE ON HIS HEAD, COMING OUT OF SEDATION AND HIS LEG IN THE AIR. HE IS TRYING TO GET LOOSE AND IN TURN HIT THE GROUND RUBBING HIS INCISION IN MULCH AND ON THE GROUND. THE WOUND BEGINS TO BLEED AND HIS LEG SWELLS. SHE SAYS BECAUSE HIS PRESSURE IS UP. BY THIS TIME I AM CRYING. 45MINS LATER TWO NURSES, WHO I WOULD LOVE TO BLESS, OFFERED A SUGGESTION. I TOLD HER THAT IS ALL I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR CAUSE I AM NOT TRAINED FOR THIS. BOTH OF THEM ARE NAMED SHANNON. THEY GAVE ME THE GAME PLAN AND WITHIN 10 SECONDS HE WAS IN THE TRUCK. I JUST WANTED TO HUG THEM. WHAT I REALIZED IS THAT BECAUSE HE IS A PITBULL, THE MANAGER WAS SCARED. SHE DOESN'T NEED TO BE IN THE PROFESSION THEN. THE OTHER TWO NURSES WERE NOT AND GOT ME OUT OF THERE AND ON THE ROAD ASAP. I DID NOT GET HOME UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT AND HE WAS BREATHING HEAVY THE WHOLE RIDE. THEY CLAIM THEY TAKE PRECAUTIONS FOR STROKE AND OTHER ISSUES DURING THE SURGERY. WELL THE MANAGER WAS NOT CONCERNED AT ALL. MY SON (DOG) WAS SO UPSET AND SCARED. MY TRUCK HAD BLOOD ALL OVER THE BACK SEAT BECAUSE HIS INCISION DID NOT STOP BLEEDING. I CONTACTED HIS VET THE NEXT DAY (CALLED HER ALL DAY DURING THE EVENT) AND SHE APOLOGIZED AGAIN FOR RECOMMENDING THEM. SHE CHECKED HIM AND JUST TOLD ME TO LET HIM REST AND THAT THE AREA WHERE HIS STITCHES CAME OUT WOULD JUST HEAL ON ITS OWN. TODAY TWO WEEKS LATER, HE IS FINE, HIS INCISION IS HEALED AND HE IS WALKING ON IT. AS I STATED, THE SERVICE AND PROCEDURE WAS NOT THE ISSUE, IT WAS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE KNOWLEDGE AND INSTRUCTIONS OF THE NURSING STAFF MANAGER AND WHO EVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. I HAVE CALLED TWO ATTORNEYS ABOUT THIS SITUATION AND AM WAITING TO HEAR BACK. THAT MANAGER (WHITE CAR) WHO SIGNS PEOPLE IN, IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND NEEDS MORE TRAINING ON DEALING WITH PEOPLE. THERE WAS ANOTHER NOT SATISFIED WITH HER ON THE SAME DAY BUT IT WAS NOTHING LIKE MY SITUATIONS. I WISH I COULD ATLEAST TREAT THE TWO SHANNONS TO LUNCH OR SOMETHING TO SAY HOW MUCH I TRULY APPRECIATED THEIR ASSISTANCE. JOB WELL DONE!

FThey leave it to employees to tell customers I asked for owner to call and discuss but they never called me back. Who are they to tell you what your pet needs?? Why put chemicals in your pet when it’s not needed or required by law. I’m all for vaccinations that my vet recommend. Also there are many side effects of this shot. Do your research before you get this unnecessary vaccination.

FI am extremely disappointed with Paws Inn. I boarded my two dogs for 10 days and both had a trip to the vet with severe diarrhea caused my bacteria. I called to speak to the owner about my issue and felt like she was unwilling to apologize or take any responsibility for it. She told me my dogs could have been sick before I dropped them off and the stress of their stay caused them diarrhea. They were there for 10 days so I highly doubt they were sick prior to being boarded (my vet agreed with on this). She also said maybe they are poop which we have no control of. Aren't you supervising them outside and picking up the poop? We have boarded our dogs numerous times without them getting stressed out/diarrhea. I wasn't looking for her to reimburse me. I was merely calling to let her know of the issue so they could be on the lookout for it/do another clean of the kennel they stayed in to prevent this from happening to another family. I was simply looking for an apology and some ownership. Stuff happens. I understand that but treating a customer with disrespect after the event is unacceptable to me in my opinion. I would look elsewhere when it comes to boarding.

ATHE DOG HOUSEThey are just down the street. It was 2 dogs and it was probably around $85 for the 2 dogs. We have a Portuguese water dog and a rat terrier. They have poodle hair, it's the best dog I've ever had. This is the first Portuguese water dog I have ever had, he is just the sweetest, sweetest thing. Chows are beautiful, a lot of people think they are a Chow and you know more than anybody that they are not. Absolutely we will use them again. It was neat the people were friendly. It was a good impression, I mean it wasn't anything fancy but they are just super super nice. And they pay particular attention to my dog, they fawn over him and all that good stuff. ABANFIELD THE PET HOSPITALI'm on a plan, $45/month. I did pay $15 extra for trimming. They did a good job. I probably will continue to use them. I think another thing, if I ever take the dog, I don't see it happening, but if we ever go on a trip you can go to other locations, it's like a country wide thing, you can take it there.- Joshua C.

AAussie Petmobile of RichmondLily was done in about 15 minutes; the groomer used a dry bath and trimmed her nails, which was exactly what I wanted done. This is definitely an expensive way to go, but it is also incredibly convenient and since I've had a difficult time finding a cat groomer in my part of town, this worked well for me. ADude Ranch Pet ResortOur Alaskan Malamute gets excited just at the mention of going. The staff is always friendly. And our dog is happy. The staff is attentive of our wishes using our shampoo. I must say that our dog is still sometimes damp when we pick her up, but she does weigh 125 pounds is ALL fur. I am very satisfied with the service we receive.- David R.
