    AAA Tree Service
The AAA Tree Service crew arrived on time and got right to work. In order to safely drop two 60 foot trees, the crew needed to work from the backyards of two neighbors. Once the trees were down, the crew completely cleaned up my neighbors' yards and then finished the work on my property which was also cleaned up. A very professional job!

    Hydro-Tech Irrigation Co
Better and Better! Weve had our HydroTech irrigation system for almost a year now and our lawn and landscaping have never looked better. Its simple (and actually enjoyable, especially compared with dragging hoses around) to turn the system on and off based upon the amount of rain each week. Problem areas near driveway corners are doing well, and the gentle spray provided by the sprinklers installed by our flowers has keep them looking their best. The HydroTech team has provided expert turn on and turn off service. In the spring, they were happy to tweak spay patterns to cover a few new plantings as well as a bit more coverage at the edge of our property. And we continue to admire the heavy-duty irrigation system piping and conduit far more substantial than do-it-yourself solutions wed investigated. We also discovered another HydroTech benefit several months after installation. When we leave our home for a trip, we turn off the main water valve in the basement to assure a copper pipe pinhole leak (weve already had one) or other malady doesnt cause a mess in our absence. HydroTech, unlike the other sprinkler company wed investigated, taps into our water supply near the street. This tough-to-install approach done at no extra charge permits us to run our sprinklers when away and still guard against an unmonitored water leak in our home. Brilliant! Great job HydroTech!

    Ross Tree Service Ltd
The owner came to my home very promptly to give me an estimate. He was direct and gave me a firm bid with options and explained everything. It was a big job that required a crane in a tight spot with limited access but near my home. The crew was on time, extremely professional and courteous, they consulted me as needed and cleaned up very well. My mailbox and the post had to be removed to get the crane up my driveway. So, with my approval, it was removed. I went to put it back later on my own and they rushed down to assure me they would do that. They did and even that was done right. You cant go wrong by hiring Ross.

    Green Hill Landscaping
We used Green Hill Landscaping for our leaf clean-up in 2017 (our first time contracting this work out) and were quite satisfied with their service. About twice each month, from October on, the service kept the property looking good at a reasonable price. When we got this years quote for the service, we were surprised by the 50% price increase and initially hesitated to engage them again. But, eventually, opting for the convenience, we provide the authorization on Oct. 9th. Then, nothing. We had other separately priced and contracted work for flower beds cleanup, weeding and mulching done on Oct 29th. Obviously, some leaves were moved in that work, but it was also priced separately from the leaf removal work. I called on Nov. 19th (6 weeks after authorization) to asked when the work would be done and was told it would be in a few days. A week later, on Nov 27th (7 weeks after authorization), I called again to complain and was told that I would be put on that days schedule. I said that would be fine as long as the price were corrected due to the failure to provide the service as advertised (i.e., in October removal from only the lawn area about every 2 weeks, in Nov/Dec removal from lawn, mulch beds and hard surfaces about every 2 weeks, weather pending). That request was rejected on the basis that it was still the same amount of leaves to be removed and that it would take the same effort. Also, the weather was claimed as a contributing factor. Having done this leaf removal myself with a work crew for years, I know that doing it once verses doing it multiple times does not involved the same amount of effort. And, while I realize we have had quite a bit of rain, it has mostly been in large deposits. According to the National Weather Service, between Oct 9th and Nov 26th (48 days), There were 5 days with accumulations over 1 and another 3 days with accumulations over . The other 40 days had either no rain or trace amounts. Green Hills insistence that they be fully paid despite their failure to deliver the services advertised seem totally unreasonable and I cancelled the authorization to work. I cant know the actual reasons for non-performance (staff shortages?) but I do know the explanations given dont hold up under analysis.

Blessed Bros Pressure Washing & Roof Cleaning
Wes and Shanta arrived on time, set to work and kept at it until the backyard was cleared of leaves. They then removed a lot of old fire wood that had gone to rot. Love their work ethic. Have used this company several times and will continue to call them back.

    Hydro-Tech Irrigation Co
Hydro-Tech just completed a 6-zone irrigation system for our home. Their crew of 6 installed the system, designed by Hydro-Techs Billy McDonald, during a 9-hour day. Their workmanship as well as the quality of the installation and materials were simply outstanding. Rugged, securely-mounted conduit runs to the control box in our garage, all outside plumbing is heavy duty and the single above ground winterizing control is securely-soldered copper pipe. Over 40 underground spray heads were installed to cover our lawn, shrubs and landscaping. Hydro-Tech ran conduit under our driveway, flagstone sidewalk and throughout our property and excavated a 5 Ft. hole for access to our side of the water meter. Although some flowers didnt survive, the restoration after all of this activity was absolutely remarkable you might say almost unbelievable if youd seen the process halfway through the day. One company we considered taps into the water supply in the basement. To us, thats an unnecessary complication, another hole in the house foundation and an issue for emergency access should a problem arise when were not at home. Hydro-Techs water controls are all outside, including a rain sensor that halts irrigation when, of course, it rains, but weve seen a lot of irrigation systems running in the rain. This simple though certainly not unique device is another indication of the care, quality, engineering and experience behind Hydro-Techs efforts. Hydro-Techs price - and certainly value - was the best we found. Thank You Billy McDonald and Thank You Hydro-Tech!

    Superior Landscaping, Inc.
I can not say enough about the excellent work done by Troy and his team. They came when they said they would, the job was done in less time than they had promised and the cost was firm and did not change. I could not have imagined just how beautiful it would look. Our neighbors say they love sitting on their deck so they can look out onto our beautiful "Piazza!" Every single neighbor who borders our property has told us it is beyond beautiful. I have to say, not only did Superior Landscaping do a wonderful job, they quickly came to my aid when one of the pavers had a slight problem....months later. It was taken care of with the same dedication of someone wanting a new job!! We will definitely have Superior Landscapers back to do our front walkway. Thank you Troy!

    Newborg Drainage & Landscaping Company
We were having severe problems with storm water runoff eroding our back lawn, wiping out the grass (even after having the sod replaced) and leaving it an ugly muddy mess with ponding water. The solution Newborg proposed was more comprehensive and a better value than one submitted by a well-rated competing firm. The workers were very careful to protect a brick sidewalk they had to cross when bringing in their digging machine and when dirt/rock hauling. The estimator Pablo and the crew foreman Renato were very polite and communicated status and questions clearly. The crew completed their work without complaint despite bitter March wind chills. The drainage system worked as designed, but when it appeared that we needed a different type of drain cover and an additional catch basin, Newborg was very accommodating. They brought over the dome-type drain covers at no additional cost, and added the additional catch basin for a very reasonable price. The system is now working very well and coping well even with heavy thunderstorms.

I was referred to Affordable Sprinkler by a landscaping firm I used to install sod in our front and back yard. Called for an appointment and Joe showed up on time, did a walk-a-round and gave me an estimate which seemed reasonable after having talked to neighbors and friends with systems. Installation was a couple weeks later. The crew showed up on time and worked straight through and installed the entire system in one day. They set the system to the default settings (3x per week) until another representative could come by and show me all the features and functionality. He spent a good hour to an hour-and-a-half showing me each setting and testing each zone to make sure the heads were properly set. They are a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

    Superior Landscaping, Inc.
My family was very happy with the services provided by Superior Landscaping. At first our project started out small but as my wife and I became more appreciative of Troy and his honest feedback and recommendations, we expanded the scope to include more services. 1.) Installation of french drain - We started with just a french drain to address standing water issues in our front and side yards. Superior installed a "horseshoe" french drain the surrounded both sides of the house and backyard, draining water from the gutters, sump pump and yard to the street. After 1+ month since the french drain was installed we've noticed a tremendous improvement with the usability of our yard after a heavy rainfall. No more soggy/muddy spots. The materials used and dimensions for the trench seemed very good to allow for the needed drainage. 2.) Installation of Patio and Retaining Walls/Garden Edging - We expanded the project to gain more usable space in our backyard with the addition of a patio and retaining wall. The work involved excavation of areas around an existing deck to create a flat and usable patio for entertaining. It allowed us a nice space to place a firepit, chairs and also an area where our children can play. With the patio a retaining wall was installed that also has the height to serve as a sitting area. This was expanded the other garden beds in the front and back of the house. The craftsmanship of the work was top notch. 3.) With all the excavation required, we included the installation of sod to our back yard and part of our side yards. Proper compost soil and very fresh sod were laid down. A month later the grass looks amazing! All garden beds were also mulched and trees were trimmed to allow for more sunlight in the backyard.
