  • We would never go there again. It was pretty much pretty bad. They told me I needed a brand new transmission and they told me it would be $3500. We did some research and found out that my BMW only had 120,000 miles on it. It's not a lot for a BMW. The year that my BMW was made, they need a computer upgrade because it makes the transmission send faulty signals. We told the BMW dealer to check the upgrade to see if it will work. They didn't know anything about it. If they're a renowned or reputable BMW repair people, they should know about upgrades because there are circulars that were put out from BMW companies about this. They told us that they could try to clean the transmission for $750 and put a new filter on. That might do the trick. If it didn't do the trick, I would need the new transmission. We had our filters cleaned.  We paid $750 and they said it fixed the problem. They drove it around and there was no problem. The next day, the transmission of my car was starting to skip. We said that it didn't work so they told us to bring it back in. We brought it back in. What we found with this company is if we didn't call them every hour to ask them what the status of the vehicle is, they won't get the vehicle the day that it's there. They did the computer upgrade but it didn't work and they told me that I needed the transmission. It was close to $6000 for a used transmission. There's not a problem in my car and the computer work fixed it. I would seriously take them off of Angie's List because something is not right with that place. This went on for a month.

  • I dropped off my car on Tuesday and picked it up on Thursday. I was impressed when I was offered a re-usable bag to put my personal things in. Also, the waiting area was nice. I was hit in the rear, so the other driver's insurance paid for everything. When I picked up my car, I was a little disappointed that they didn't walk out with me to go over the repairs. Overall everything went well, and I have not had any problems with the bumper.

  • This was the place that Geico directed me to repair my car for my 2005 Nissan Altima which was side-swiped by another driver. The front right bumper, rim, wheel, quarter panel, and passenger side door were all badly damaged in the accident but when I received the car back it looked like nothing had happened -- quality painting and replacement parts -- and they even repaired some road rash on the bumper.
    When I picked up the car I noticed some squeaking on the door from when it was replaced and being possibly misaligned. One of the garage attendants took a look. After realizing it wasn't just needing to be broken in, he took it back to the garage to make sure the issue was fixed and brought it back working perfectly.
    They have an in-house rental service agent who helped me arrange transport as soon as I dropped off my car and they gave me a recent model year Altima to use while my car was being worked on. It was only a couple days before my car was ready to be picked up. I really could not have imagined the process going more smoothly and stress-free.

  • USAA provided the name of this repair shop as an option. A USAA trained representative is onsite.
    Although I was confident that the material repairs would be satisfactory, I was concerned (based on prior experience with my original dealership repair shop!!!!!!) that the custom color of white could not be replicated. I dropped off my Lexus with Craftsman Autobody Chantillly. After talking with the onsite representative I felt a lot more comfortable. The front office kept me informed during the process. I did NOT have to call and beg for information. They delivered ON TIME. No extensions. No excuses. No frustrations. The color was PERFECT. This paint color is so challenging that I told them I would only pick it up in the daylight to ensure the color was right. They did not disappoint!
    Based on their performance, I would not hesitate to highly recommend. And for me, I won't go anywhere else for bodywork.

  • Had some body work done after an accident. These folks are very professional and courteous. The repair was done in a manner that the damage was not noticeable anymore afterwards. When we developed some noise in the engine area later on they were willing to check on it to see if it could have been as a result from the accident (which it was not - we found the problem later on).

  • Couldn't have been better. I arrived on site on a Saturday afternoon, 30 minutes prior to closing time and asked if the repair could be done then. Jack agreed to do the repair immediately, but when I realized that that would mean the technician would have to work after normal closing time, I said we could schedule the repair for the following Monday instead. We agreed to schedule the repair for 8 a.m. on a Monday morning. Jack originally quoted me a price of $50 for the installation. He estimated that the work would take up to an hour and a half. The work started exactly on time as promised, took 1 hour and my charge was $29.40(as noted above I had located a "like new" used part and purchased it myself. I had told Jack that I had located a part and he told me to go ahead and order it). The work involved removing the door panel. The mirror was installed perfectly-functioned properly with absolutely no problems, either cosmetically or mechanically. This is the second time that I have used Jack's Auto Body for auto body repair work and I highly recommend them. I'm hoping not to need their services anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely be back. Honest, reliable, professional, technically competent, more-than-reasonably priced-doesn't get any better than that!

  • Fantastic. Jack gave me a thoughtful estimate up front that was reasonable for the required repair. He gave me the pros and cons of replacing vs. repairing the damaged rear door. The work was performed on time, for the estimated price. The repair is meticulous. The doors function perfectly and it is impossible to detect that there had been any damage, the paint job is beautiful and matches the rest of the vehicle perfectly. There is absolutely no imperfection on the doors. The vehicle looks showroom perfect. They fixed some other minor unrelated scratches at no additional cost and vacuumed and washed the car when they were finished. Jack also was helpful in locating a rental car company that was one block away from his shop. It was great dealing with him and although I hope to avoid the need for his services in the future, if I ever do need further auto body repair services I would definitely use Jack's again and would highly recommend his shop to others.
