I called Robbie for an estimate and he came to our house the next day, arriving exactly when he said he would. From the start, he has been excellent to work with, always professional and was thorough in his discription of what would be included in the projects. He did not ask for any money upfront, we paid him in installments as each project was completed. The roof was the first project. Robbie's crew came on a weekend, removed all the old shingles, repaired some areas such our skylight, and applied new shingles all in one day. The 2nd project was our windows. Randy and crew installed 14 Wincore windows quickly and efficiently. Randy, who is the main installer on Robbie's team is very meticulous in his work and makes sure everything is done right. Next, was our siding. Randy and Austin were the main installers, always arriving early (730) and worked all day. The siding was complete in approximately 3 weeks which is great considering we had to adjust schedules for weather and also our house had a lot of square footage to cover. They also installed a replacement entry door and storm door. The last project was our gutters which was complete in 1 day. I cannot express enough how happy I am with how our house turned out. When I drive up to my house, I'm in awe of how different it looks. This team is outstanding to work with and would recommend them to anyone that asks! I am extremely grateful to Robbie, Randy, and team for being so easy to work with and providing such quality work! I'm attaching pictures of their work, our porch will be done by another company that does concrete so the front of the house is still in progress. I still can't believe this is the same house!

The project went absolutely great, almost better than I had imagined it going. The entire group of employees working on my project were always very nice and courteous to me and my family. I was always kept informed of things going on and what would be happening when, and they were always more than happy to answer the silly questions I would ask along the way. The job was done very professionally and I couldn't ask for a better outcome of what this all turned out to look like. The job was always kept neat and clean so my kids would not be harmed if out playing in the yard. The job was completed in the time stated in the contract and when it was completed there was nothing I had to follow up with. Everything was clean, Dirt was all raked smooth and all areas were re-seeded and strawed to start the new grass this fall. The new porch looks great and I will definitely be calling these guys back when I save the money to have my back patio redone in a stamped pattern with a sidewalk leading to the garage. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend these guys to anyone needing work done in the New River Valley.

We couldn't be happier with the quality of work. There were lots of decisions to make throughout the process of purchasing our home, but the best decision we made was hiring Richard and his team. Price, quality, and timeliness are his trademarks. Look no further for all your painting needs!

    E A Construction Inc
The entire job went very well. After having EA stop by to discuss my findings and concerns, EA sent me a quote a few days later and I hired him for the job. He tore out my entire dining room exterior wall and had it rebuilt and sealed up and ready for siding in one long day. The next day EA and his helper re-installed the vinyl siding and hung new drywall and plastered the joints. The third day began a 10 day torrential downpour halting their work. While they were waiting for dry weather to return to my house to complete the work, our roof developed a leak over our bathroom. I called EA to ask if he could repair it as well when he returned and they did indeed.
Both EA and his helper were kind, knowledgeable and experienced in their trade. They both had to use skills only a home builder would have. I had a complex problem and they worked right through it. I liked the fact that they removed their shoes while walking on our new carpet and covered other walkways before walking on them. They kept the dust to a minimum and cleaned up well each day before leaving.
It was a pleasure working with them and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Went very well, took a few days to get everything done, but we agreed to that before hand, worked on a holiday to finish everything up. Very upstanding company, does a lot of low cost, free work for elderly widows. My In-laws got a new metal roof by the same contactor and it looks great. I would recommend.

    1) initial survey of work to be completed, followed by an estimate
    2) scheduling the work
    3) arriving on time as scheduled
    4) completion of tasks (divided among Dave and his two crew)
    5) repairs completed within ~2 hours
    6) clean up
Dave Dunn and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, and importantly cleaned up when they were done. Dave took time to match as closely as possible the color of the mortar he used to that of the existing brick work. i was pleased with the work and the reasonable cost.

    Crockett Home Improvement Inc
The crew hired to take off the old metal roof and put a new one on left a lot of the bricks in the yard from tearing down an old chimney to roof level as well as the metal bands with nails that came off the old roof.  When we complained, Crockett sent someone to move the bricks to the side of the yard and raked the yard for the metal.  I continue to find nails in the yard.  The end of one of the eaves came off right away and when the guy in charge of the work was called he said he'd come and look at it but never did.  So this is the second spring that we've had starlings nesting there.  (Yes, my husband should have fixed it but that doesn't excuse shoddy work and no return of the project manager.)  Replacing the air handlers in very tight spaces was a very difficult job.  Obviously, it had been done before to even have something to replace.  But the first people to install them didn't curse.  At all.  (Don't have any kids around if this guy works at your house.)  Then he had the drain of one of them run right on the ground under the house instead of running it outside.  We called and he came back to do it right.  Next, it leaked all over the floor, twice.  It was fixed, also.  This same "electrician" botched up the bathroom.  He only had to replace the old wire with new, changing nothing.  What I have now is NO power to the baseboard heater.  He told us it had NEVER been connected!  Then how did we use it for 25 years?  I have to use a space heater now WHICH IS PLUGGED INTO A MAKESHIFT OUTLET instead of the one that was already there to the right of the sink that doesn't work anymore and he can't get it to work.  The new outlet is actually hooked up through the wall from a light switch we hadn't installed yet.  Well, we won't be doing that now.  The reason it's wired from the other side of the wall is because we rejected his initial fix.  That was to run a wire across the ceiling over the mirror.  When he took it down, it left holes in the newly finished ceiling.  The new outlet is right next to the door on the left of the mirror over the sink.  We don't have any lefties that need to dry their hair.  And we have to step over that heater to get to the sink.  It runs all the time.  The worst thing about the wiring is that they wouldn't use my diagram of which wire fed what in the house.  They just ripped them all out of the old panel and said they'd figure it out.  So, when a pipe burst on the back porch from the days and days of below freezing temperatures, my husband turned off the breaker to the well pump so we could drain the pipes and fix it.  Guess what?  That breaker DOESN'T GO TO THE WELL PUMP!  He had to go out and walk through the creek to turn it off at the well!  And back to the house to see if his fix leaked and back to the wellhouse when it was still leaking a little and back to turn it on again.  We haven't traced what wiring is actually hooked up to the well pump.  Minor things include denting my dryer when it was moved and not replacing the "hatch" in the ceiling on the back porch where they accessed the wiring.  I know there's more but I'm tired of typing.  I'll think of it when I quit, I'm sure.  It steams us that we paid so much for this work. Several people said we paid way too much.  We were too trusting and aren't the kind of people who complain.  I know that for something this major we should have, until everything was right.  How we let go when told that "this never worked" and "this outlet doesn't work anymore" I don't know.  That's our own fault.

For the first part of the job - Don was able to turn me onto some of his employees to help with an excavation/plumming issue. The men were kind and patient. They came when scheduled, did work that was above the standard, and left it nicer than they found it. I would recommend them highly!
Don will be doing entire interior paint job and I look forward to working with him.

I called Mr. Smith for a quote and he was able to make it out the next day. I thought the cost was extremely reasonable, especially compared to other provider's quotes I had to do much less. I asked them to take a look at installing quarter round trim in the kitchen after I replaced the vinyl floor and they offered to do it for a great price.
We discussed timing and he was able to bring his team out the next week. They arrvied early in the morning, as promised, and were able to finish mid-Afternoon. Timliness is a top priority for me because I work 35 miles out of town.
I'm very pleased with the attention to detail and ability to squeeze me in within a week. I didn't want a triple coat paint job to spruce up the basement and was fine to just have the look improved/evened out. However, there are multiple instances of caulking, puttying, and spot touch ups in various places that I didn't have to ask for and really speak to their commitment to doing a quality job. Same thing with the trim that was installed in the kitchen.
I also woke up late and wasn't able to clean up the area beforehand, but their team offered to move boxes out of the way (at 8 in the morning mind you) which I was thankful for. A small lamp globe was broken after placing it back on the base, but Mr. Smith offered to pay for replacement. I appreciated the gesture, but wasn't concerned due to some extra paint their team had to run out and pickup. I'm pretty sure my family broke the matching globe already trying to get it seated on the base.
My neighbor commented on how they clean up after themselves and I noticed the same thing. I've seen another local painting company that has done neighboring homes and left trash or cigarette butts around properties.
All in all, a very good experience and I'd happily use their services again.

Had them take down old, worn out gutters and replace with new. Also replaced damaged fascia board. These guys were quick, efficient, and you can't even tell they were here. Joseph was great on the sales end, taking several trips down to meet in person. Overall excellent. Will hire again.
