    Your Community Heating and Cooling handled our repair. Rakim, the company owner came out the same day, spent some time to thoroughly examine our heat pump. The compressor was not working. He attempted to perform maintenance on the compressor to "buy us some extra time" with the unit but was unable to make it work. Rakim offered two solutions, and recommended what he thought was the best plan of action. We agreed and chose to replace the heat pump. The diagnosis visit was timely and inexpensive ($80) for the level of professionalism we received. Rakim came out the next day, and replaced our unit (a York) with a higher quality Rheem. The work took approximately 2 hours (maybe less) and within a few hours, the temperature in our house decreased from 87 degrees to 75, and when we woke the next morning the house temp was 70 degrees. By the way, both visits occurred between 7 and 9 PM. Rakim recognized our need, and gave selflessly of his time and experience providing us with excellent service. I would recommend that you choose Your Community Heating and Cooling for your needs as well. Both visits were $2330.00. Extremely pleased with all facets.

    Right on time, courteous and skilled technician. Found capacitor under spec on compressor, replaced at a fair price. As he was leaving, and I was returning home, I asked him to check my crawlspace dehumidifier, which had been troublesome. He took care of it. Found it low on refrigerant, and he took down serial number to check on the warranty. Great service!

    A Williams And Fogg
    Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do the job. There are two HVAC units in my house. Williams and Fogg replaced the lower level unit on August 24, 2018. They replaced the upper unit on August 27, 2018. The ceiling in the bedroom below the attic installed unit started dripping water from the ceiling on August30, 2018���I contacted Williams and Fogg, I had to leave a voice mail. There was no response, Labor Day weekend. On Tuesday, September 4, the ceiling of the bedroom collapsed. The unit upstairs had not been installed correctly. The opening was 6 feet by 10 feet. Ron Fogg from Williams and Fogg was out the next day. We requested that Service Master do the clean-up, Williams and Fogg would do the restoration. Service Master completed their portion of the job on September 10, 2019. I contacted Ron Fogg to let him know he could finish the job. It is now January 31, 2019. After contacting Ron Fogg numerous times, at least once a week over the past 4 �� months, I have no more patience left. We have had four different people come to determine what materials are needed, only to not show up the next day to finish the job. One individual did not show up for his appointment on a Wednesday, then rescheduled it for Thursday, when he didn���t show up he promised he would be at my home first thing Friday or he would give me $100. When he showed up at 1:05 PM I asked for my $100. He laughed, I didn���t think it was funny and told him to leave. The last time I dealt with this company, Ron Fogg was involved. We had agreed to meet at my home at 9:00 AM. Ron was to be present all day. He was to supervise the replacing of the subfloor that Service Master had removed because the floor had warped. He was also to supervise the problems with the HVAC installation including replacing the drip pan that was too small. Ron arrived ahead of schedule. At 9:15, I spoke to Ron and asked him where his ream was. He told me they were on their way. He then told me he had no intention of staying to supervise until the job was complete. My patience expired. I told him no one from his business was allowed in my house.

    Mr. Rakim Shahid, owner of "Your Community Heating and Cooling" is a professional. He was always extremely responsive in answering questions and providing quotes for option A, B or C systems. He showed up exactly when he said he would for contract preparation/signing and system installation. He did exactly what he said he would do and when he would do it. He and his team replaced a 19 yr old Rheem HVAC with a new Rheem heat pump and air handler. The entire process was very smooth, no surprises and craftsmanship of the installation is evident. I am pleased with the results and would have no reservations in recommending his services. I will choose his company again in the future.

    I called on a Monday to have someone come out and give me a quote. They were there the next day and gave me three different options and explained each one. I had two other quotes from other companies but I felt more comfortable going with Foster Plumbing & Heating. They gave me a good and fair price for one of their top-of-the-line products. The system was installed several days later. The installers were there exactly at the time they said they would arrive. They removed the old gas furnace and AC unit and installed new and more efficient units. I don���t think the installation crew took a break until the job was completed. After the installation, they explained what they had installed and went over the new features of the thermostat. Several days later their representative came back out to make sure we were satisfied with the new units and to answer any questions we might have. Overall, it was a great experience. I want to thank Matt, Nick, Craig, and the Foster crew for taking care of us. It���s a good company with good people.

    The owner responded rather quickly through a message I had sent earlier in the day. He arrived, and assessed the unit. He cleaned one part of the unit which was slightly clogged with grit, and assured me that would fix the problem. He filled unit with a little freon, and charged me almost $250. Needless to say, that was not the problem, and I had to reached out to another company to fix the problem. Very disappointed.

    The maintenance went great! Joe from Colonial regularly does our maintenance. He is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Since we have had this maintenance plan we have had very few problems. Joe does a great job and was in and out of our house in no time. We have been doing business with Colonial for years and will continue to do so. They come when you need this and always resolve the problem!

    Universal Heating Air Conditioning and Plumbing
    Universal did a fantastic job. The blower motor went out on my downstairs unit at the worst possible non-weekend time. It was snowing with temperatures in the 20s, and the weekend was quickly approaching. Universal was the only company I spoke with who could perform the work that day. John came to my house within 2 hours of my call. He was very detailed and explained the issue, the remedy, and the costs to us. His professionalism was very impressive. We are completely satisfied, and Universal will be my first call for any future HVAC repairs.

    Showed Up, did a leak test on system, charged me $300.00. He diagnosed 3 leaks and charged me 975.00 for repairs which I paid upfront for. Never returned to do the job. No calls.. nothing. He also uses the name KEITH Coles. Beware!!!
