    FELICE DECKS INC
After having a miserable experience with another deck builder, we were fortunate to find Felice Decks. I was completely blown away at how passionate and professional Jason Felice was and we hired him immediately. Jason is an incredibly knowledgeable, talented and artistic builder and his quality workmanship far exceeded all expectations. Also, his team was extremely hardworking and fun natured, a real pleasure to witness. Our new deck is absolutely spectacular! Felice Decks has our strongest recommendation I cant imagine a better deck company.

    A Better Cut Deck
I waited to write this review to see how our deck has held up and I have to say-Hiring Tim and his crew to build our deck is honestly one of the best things I've ever done. And I'm not one for dramatic phrasing. I almost didn't hire him because his quote was so comparatively low that I couldn't believe that the deck would be of comparable quality. I actually went to see another deck he built to check it out. Our deck is the best built deck I've seen. I'm so impressed with the quality. Our neighbors had a deck built by one of the well known expensive companies that we received a quote from. Within a less than a year it was showing wear and tear. The build quality of our deck is SO much better and I paid A LOT less. Also, Tim and the guys he had working with him were so sweet with my son. He was seven at the time and completely intrigued with the process. They were so patient with him and even helped him with (non-dangerous) tools so that he felt like he helped build the deck. They were fantastic. Tim was very responsive and reliable. There was a slight delay due to the weather but, of course, stuff like that can't be helped. Tim seems to be one of those people that still has a sense of honor and integrity. If I had another job like this I would not hesitate to call him again. In fact I'd be extremely disappointed if he were unavailable. BY the way-it's been almost a year now and through the winter and our deck looks and feels brand new. The photos are recent.

    Classic Construction Exteriors
The quality of the end product is exceptional. Classic Construction did a great job in providing ideas on how my deck might be better, such as lowering the height so I am not looking at the rail when looking out the house windows and using PVC for the railing, stringers, band, risers, so I had less to maintain. The one thing that was sub par was the communication, both with me and within their organization. I would attribute most of this to the fact that the PM who quoted my job and designed my deck left the company prior to the job starting, and the new PM was not properly briefed on my project. I don't want to relive those details, but this part of the experience was really frustrating to me. I think it was just a unique, unfortunate situation that happened, but once we worked through it it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. And the important thing is that the end product is exceptional. I live on a golf course and I have had countless complements on my new deck from golfers and friends. Mike Paris, my PM, was very attentive and accommodating. It became clear to me during this process that the most important thing to Mike and Classic was to have a satisfied customer. I would highly recommend Classic. They were not the cheapest quote I received for my job, but they offered the best value proposition by far.

    A Better Cut Deck
I couldn't have asked for the project to come out any better.  We've already received several compliments on the finished product.   The quality is amazing and better than some of the other companies that were charging up to 40% more! (We shopped around with 4-5 contractors before deciding to go with Tim)  Tim takes pride in his craftsmanship and it shows in the final product.   The decks were also very structurally sound as I took time examining the framing of the deck before the decking was put up.  He had very high standards for quality of wood he uses, punctual, responsive to all our questions/concerns and cleaned up after himself.

    A Better Cut Deck
Tim called and made an appointment with me to review the work and give me an estimate.  He was on-time and took the time to listen to my concerns and thoughts on what I wanted.  He sat down with me and my wife to discuss options and gave us his opinions on our best approach.  We accepted his bid and asked that he have the work completed within six weeks due to additional repairs going on with other areas of our house.  Tim added this to the contract.  Tim came out on time and completed the work very professionally.  The yard and deck were left cleaner than when they arrived.  His work was top-notch and exactly what we were looking for.  I will certainly use his services again.

The Carpentry & Painting Experts LLC
They used quality Sherwin Williams paint and provided all needed in price. The interior painting, power washing and gutter cleaning was done by one person (Drew), who was punctual, professional and personable. Everything was left as it was before he came and he was extremely conscientious about doing the job right with as little interference as possible. The exterior painting was led by Randy and a team of three, and they all worked on a Saturday from early in the morning until dark and added small jobs they noted needed to be done, always explaining the need. They came back on the next Monday, finished up and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves - they all were extremely professional, hard working and pleasant with whom to work. David did the minor roof repairs and matched the work ethic of all the others I came in contact with. In giving me the estimate, Martin was very professional and thorough and pricing was much lower than expected for the difficulty and amount of work to be done. We had one small problem and that was a truck that leaked some oil on the aggregate driveway. They did not quibble about it and made two trips out to clean the stains - they did not invoice until we were completely satisfied. The only extremely minor complaint I would have is that the Scheduler, Tim, was not terribly good at letting me know what time people would be coming, though he promised always to do so. That is the only improvement I could possibly suggest for this superior company which we will definitely use again. I am already planning what I want done. It also helps that Angie's List clients get a 15% discount on painting work. Extremely happy customers!

    G R Scantling Drywall & Framing
We provided the wood ~ had Lowe's deliver to job site.  George provided the service and it LOOKS wonderful. Very well done and it needed to have supports that we didn't know it needed, but he realized it and took care of it.  We are very pleased with George's quality of workmanship.  He does what he says and is on time.
He is now pricing another job we need done! It's great to work with someone who can schedule and complete a job that looks great.

Jacob's Ladder Siding Roofing Windows Painting
While the work was done adequately, the experience was terrible.  They subcontract all the work.  They did not show up numerous days they said they were going to and we were very frustrated with back and forth emails trying to get them to come back out and complete the job.  While the carpenter and his sons were here working they let it slip that the reason they didn?t show up one of the days is that one of the sons wouldn?t get out of bed. They did reimburse us for 2 days of doggie day care since we had to send 2 of our dogs there when they were working on the deck but the experience did not make up for it.  They were slow to get the work started which they said was a result of the special order triple door we needed.  But the job which we were told would be a 3 day job, dragged on for weeks.  The reason we had a ramp installed on the back deck was for our senior dogs. My husband who initially met with one person about the project and I who met with the ?project manager? (only once the entire job and this was before the project started) insisted that the storm door which contains the ?doggie door? be reinstalled after the triple door replacement.  When the carpenter finished installing the door I asked him to reattach it as it was in the trash pile.  He told me it could not be reattached and the ?project manager? told me the same thing. They also insisted we never said prior that we needed it reattached.  They said they knew another contractor who could attach it but it would be another $230. We had no choice as we needed this door so we had to pay this additional cost to have our own door reattached. Also, our estimate/agreement stated that they would pick up at the end of each day and a thorough cleaning done at the end of the job. This did not happen.  When the carpenters worked they repeatedly left nails, staples, screws ? some sticking straight up and cigarette butts on the deck and ground.  When they removed our stairs they left them in a pile just to the right of the ramp so the dogs could not go out to the main part of the yard.  When they were completely done, they left all the paint scrapings on the ground along with labels, wood scraps, nails, etc.  My husband almost punctured his foot when he was mowing the lawn because of two nail cartridges used in thenail guns that were left in our yard.  We brought all of this to the ?project manager?s? attention and they were ignored.  My husband and I were off the final 2 days of the job and agreed to be at home to go over the punch list with our ?project manager? while the painter finished the trim painting and deck staining.  The first day the ?project manager? asked me to tell him at noon if the deck was dry. I was so I emailed him that it was and never heard back.  I emailed again and was told they went to another job instead.  The second day we waited around too and he never showed up so I emailed and he said he was not coming but we could go over the list with the painter. The painter was nice but seemed didn't seem to know anything about the history of the job or the concerns we had- he was just supposed to collect the check.   So we had no one to go over the job with.
We felt they did not care if we were satisfied with the job they wanted to be done with us.  I am sure they will say we were difficult clients, but we just wanted the job done in a reasonable amount of time, what was stated on the contract to be completed, and for work to be done when they said they were going to do it.  I don?t think that was too much to ask considering we spent all of our savings on this project.

Cliff's Landscaping & Home Services, LLC
Amazing job! This is the second time we hired them to do some work (first-time they cleaned gutters and pressure washed the moldy/dirty siding on our house). They far exceeded our expectations, again. The porch is off the second level of our house so a lot of ladder work was involved. After pressure washing the deck and stairs, they returned the next day to seal it. They hand-brushed sealer on a large portion of the job, where it couldn't be sprayed. They used care in not getting the sealer on our concrete slab underneath the deck/porch and were thorough in their application. It looks beautiful! It was in desperate need of a good cleaning and sealer. They cleaned up after the job and left things neat and orderly. Additionally, the gutters/spouting are clean and functional. The price was very reasonable given the labor was almost 8 hours total. Cliff and Jimmy came through again! Without reservation, I would highly recommend you give them a call.

    SafeWash Powerwash
Got a call from the owner as my appointment was on a Friday.  He said rain and high winds would cause him not to be able to do a good job. We rescheduled for Monday. I wasn't home when they did the work and when we got home there was no sign anyone had been around the house except that all the trim seemed to glow is was that clean.  We are very satisfied with the quality f the work that was done.
