    Petco Animal Supplies
I drop him off, and they call me 3-4 hours when he's done. They are very nice and seem to like the animals. They get to know them. My little guy can sometimes get feisty and doesn't like his feet touched.

I have been using them for as least 20 years. When they send me the card, I take him up there. There are no appointments, so you have to sit and wait. It is first come, first serve. Sometimes I can get right in, and sometimes it takes an hour or so.

My one dog was really sick and they never gouged me or anything. They tell me like it is.

    Homestyle Barkery
They did a GREAT job getting to me right after I ordered through their website www.homestylebarkery.com, I was contacted within an hour to double check for any allergies our dogs might have.  They gave me an estimated time for shipping since everything is made fresh per order, and sent me confirmation of shipping so that I could track the delivery.  I also received a personal email to let me know that my order should have been delivered.  Our dogs just LOVED these treats....they are still searching the counter for the cake!  I will definitely be ordering more treats in the future.

All For Cobalt In Home Pet Care
Marla did a great job of going beyond the basics. When we finally returned home late at night, a few lights were left on for us and the radio was playing softly. The house smelled great and there was no litter or cat food on the floor. The litter boxes were clean and the food and water bowels were clean and full. Marla texted us with weekly updates and sent us pictures of the cats enjoying their new toys. She visited with us for a good long time before we left on our trip and took time to learn all of the routines and nuances of caring for our cats and home. She left us a detailed summary of her visits along with extra cat treats and a special plant for our home. It was very nice to come home to. I would highly recommend Marla and will use her services again.

    WEST CHESTER PET RESORT
My dog is 3 years old and she has been going to daycare here since she was old enough (received all of her shots). She is on a schedule of 3 days per week and she loves it! She sleeps all day on her and quot;offand quot; days since she is so worn out from playing with her friends the day before. West Chester is part of the Chester Animal Clinic, which is our vet, so it makes is super convenient if the dog needs a booster shot or test performed. Occasionally when I drop her off, I request additional services such as a nail trim and they are completed during her day and there's no additional stress of a vet visit for the dog. Actually, there is no stress for the dog on the off chance that she needs a separate vet visit as that is where she goes for daycare and she loves going to daycare! The staff is amazing, I love dealing with Kirsten and Hannah and know that I can call them with any questions that I may have.
We also use them for boarding and have the same excellent experience every time. She even gets a report card when we pick her up to tell us how her stay went.
They take wonderful care of our dog and she loves going there!

    COLONIAL HEIGHTS VETERINARY HOSPITAL
As always the visit went perfectly. Fortunately the dogs were negative for heartworms and intestinal worms. We discussed the medicine needed to keep them that way and determined that one dog needed Revolution because of a very sensitive stomach.
Over the last 11 years, I have owned or cared for at least six dogs and five cats. As my pets aged and went downhill the Vets have had specialty medications formulated so I could get my cat to take it. They provided free samples, if they have them, for the very expensive heart medications one dog developed. And when the time came, they provided gentle and kind end of life procedures to my beloved pets and support to me.
Emergencies are always worked it. They call a day or two after treatment to make sure everything is going as planned. If not, they get you back in that day.
    There are no better veterinarians.

Everyone in the office was courteous and friendly.  Dr. Jones owned the practice for many years, and we had been taking our animals to him for over 25 years.  When he sold the practice we continued with the group and these new doctors seem to have the same compassion and caring for animals as Dr. Jones.  They are up front and thorough. Although they do not take appointments people are willing to wait and you are always seen.

    Holiday Barn Pet Resorts
Amanda Nepomuceno at Holiday Barn South is my dog trainer. The week of Feb. 11 - 15, 2013, my german shepherd mix, Andi, was in training with Amanda. Andi came home much improved with her bad behavior of barking at absolutely everyone everywhere. She also does not push through the door, down the stiairs, etc. first. She has learned that she does not control the houshold and that I am the boss (pack leader). I will send Andi for another week of training soon and am sure she will continue to improve.
Last year I adopted a puppy (Ranger) that was afraid of everything; very shy and skidish, and would not come when called. He would hide in the woods and I would have to go get him. Amanda worked with him and taught me what to do to help him come out of his shell. A year later he is still not thrilled with trash cans and other things he has not seen before but he does not usually bolt like he did before. He comes when called and I can let him off leash, he stays close and responds to my call. Recently on a pack walk, he actually went into a department store and up an escalator at the mall. I am so proud of him!!
Before I found Amanda a different trainer evaluated Ranger and told me something was wrong with him and he would never be a good dog.
Amanda is a wonderful person and a teriffic trainer. She has great credentials but better than that her clients recommend her because she is good at what she does and gets results.

PSVC Dog Walking & Home Pet Care
I am new to the Richmond area and know no service providers of any type. At the last minute, my husband and I needed to be gone a week and suddenly, we had no one to take care of our cats - 1 is an old lady at 18 and the other is a rather exuberant 1.5 year old Maine C*** mix.
I emailed them and they worked pretty well with our limited time frame to come over and meet our fur-babies. Immediately, the Maine C*** mix loved SD! He was all over the guy which, to me, is a great sign. SD listened to what we were looking for (and the fact that we were still unpacking and the apartment was a mess). I was filling the constant water thing and he wanted to do it himself to make sure he understood how it worked. He took notes about each cat and asked questions like "If I don't see them, where might they be hiding?" While I'm sure he had other clients to meet with, he took his time to talk to me and mainly to interact with my cats. I felt comfortably immediately.
After the initial intake, I got a very detailed report via email as to what we discussed, the personalities of the cats - EVERYTHING.
Each time SD came over, and let me tell you, we asked him to stagger his times coming for security reasons - one evening we received a text at 10:30 that evening and he stayed until 11 ...
With each visit, I received a text as to when he came and went. Within a few hours, I would have a very detialed email with pictures of my felines AND photos before and after of the food dishes, water dishes AND the litter boxes!!!! I KNEW that these guys were WELL taken care of while we were gone and with the stress we were under at the time, it was a HUGE relief to us to know that someone great was taking care of our 'kids'!

He gave me a senior discount.  They are very nice and they take us in immediately if we have an emergency.  The staff and doctor are very nice.  They treat my animal like I m their best customer.  The vet is a very nice man he accepted my insurance.  He came recommended through a friend.
