    We had a loud, screeching noise coming from our 18 year old Maytag washing machine. We called Affordable Home Appliance and they scheduled a timely appointment that fit our schedule. The repairman (Charlie) arrived on time, diagnosed the problem as a bad pump, and replaced it. There was no pressure about the machine being too old to repair - in fact he told us it was a great washer and to hang on to it as long as we could "because they don't make them like that any more". The price was very reasonable, the repair done efficiently, and the laundry room left spotless when he left. Highly recommended!

    We purchased a new Amana side by side refrigerator from Mark Reynolds at Little Appliance and had the unit installed by Matt and Kyle. We could not be more pleased with the exceptional service provided by Mark, Matt, and Kyle. This was after we purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot and was promised delivery, installation and disposal of the old refrigerator. The Home Depot delivery guys would not install the unit because "We're not licensed to do plumbing work." I called the store and was advised I would have to get my own plumber to do the installation. NOT WHAT THE HOME DEPOT SALESMAN TOLD US! Home Depot's customer service is as bad as Little Appliance is good.

    Came out said it was cosmetic and I would need to get it approve by LG. Requested another repair company, they came out saw problem ordered part ant fixed. Rea Services is a joke. Would not let them in my house again.

    Affordable Home Appliance
    We ended up spending over $600 on repairs to the same dishwasher from this company, over the course of the year. Each time he had some "reason," and in the second to last break stated that the repair would surely fix it. The final break we have not received a response via text directly to the repairman. I think this is a case of being taken advantage of since we are out of state due to military assignment. We gave them a chance but would not recommend this business.

    I wish I had never called this person. I called him to come out and look at my refrigerator. He came out on 6/2/16. He told me I needed a new compressor and quoted me 400. At that time I didn't want to spend the money on the fridge. I paid the service charge and asked him if I changed my mind would the service charge still be put towards the repairs and he said yes. That evening after my roommate and husband came home we decided to go a head with the repair. So I called him back and he said he would call me the next day to let me know when he could come out. I texted him the next day and he called back and said he would come out on Tuesday the 7th in the morning. That morning I called to confirm and he said he would come out still but it would have to wait till after 12 and before 2. He never showed up. At 2:15 he texted me and said he would call me shortly. He never called. Around 4 I tried to call him again and no answer. He then texted me and said he had a family emergency and he would come between 830 and 9 on Thursday the 9th. I texted him again Thursday morning and he said he would be here at 9:30. He never came and called to tell me had to get nitrogen and would be here in an hour. I have not heard from him nor has he come since then. I have called him several times and texted him. No response. I just read a recent review on here and the response that he had to the customer is rude and I have a feeling he is going to post a rude comment to mine as well. I may have called this guy more than he would like, but when you constantly are a no show it is horrible customer service and super frustrating. I have been nothing but nice to Kim, my only message to him after waiting for the second day for him to show up was "Are you going to blow me off again?" to which I have not had a response. So basically the $71 dollars is gone and I have to pay someone else to come out again. I wish I had never called this person and if I had seen the bad review that was recently posted I never would have. I hope that I save someone from the horrible customer service I have received. I have never been stood up in my life by anybody in the service field. And since Kim wants to state that anyone can just leave a review and not be truthful. I have all my calls and text messages as proof if anyone wants to e-mail me.

    I called on Friday July 17th asking for a service person to come and look at my washing machine.  I was told that someone would be out Monday July 20th, and that someone would call me.  I did not receive a phone call so around lunch I called, and asked for status on the repair. I left my information, and was told someone would call me back.  This was around noon.  I called back at about 4:30 pm no answer left message on voice mail.  The hours are their site read that they are open 8:00 am  - 6:00 pm.  I called on Tuesday morning around 9:00 am asking for status. The reply I received was that there was no record. When I asked why  there wasn't a record I was told that the person was not at their desk. I left my name and phone number asking for them to call me back once they were able to review the calls. I never received a call back.  I tried to call back later that morning no answer just voice mail.  I did call back Tuesday mid-day to say I was cancelling my request since I could not receive a response.

    I had scheduling problems.  I told him the hours that I couldn't be scheduled and that was the time he did scheduled.  The washer was outside and he assumed that I wanted him to move it.  He said that he wasn't moving it.  I didn't ask him to. He needed an additional things that required additional costs, which I was not interested in rescheduling with him.  I was able to buy the part at the half the price, and we are in the process of getting it completed.

    This is the first time we have used Home Appliance and their performance was outstanding.  I contacted them because we were having recurring problems with our 15 year old refrigerator.  For a variety of reasons, and mostly due to the fact we couldn't find anything that matched our kitchen set exactly, we were trying to repair it rather than replace.  After several attempts by our regular repairman, including a new compressor, we still had no luck.  Before assigning the refrigerator to the junk heap and buying a new one I looked for new service providers on Angie's List and found Home Appliance at the top of the list.  I called, explained the problems and history, and over the phone I was given a procedure to try at home. to assess the problem.  Based on the results we scheduled a visit and ordered a part.  When the serviceman arrived he quickly determined that even the new part would not fix the problem.  He offered one other solution, but recommended against it because of the age of the refrigerator and the fact that they could not guarantee that it would fix the problem.  For all of their time and effort the only bill to me was $80 for a service call.  They were able to return the part they ordered so there was no charge for it.  The Home Appliance staff was very responsive, exceptionally friendly and the most professional we have ever dealt with.  Highly, highly recommended!!!!!

    Service Technician showed up after 2pm. He informed me that the price I was given on the phone was not correct and the service would be $139.99 plus parts. He performed the maintenance service, then informed me that he didn't have the new blades for my lawn tractor and they would have to be ordered and sent to my home. I would then have to schedule another appointment 1pm to 5pm (another half day off of work).

     The blades were delivered and on the scheduled appointment day the service technician came and put the new blades on.

    A week or so later when I was cutting my grass (I had used my push mower until the blades were installed) with my lawn tractor, I noticed it was not cutting properly and the bagger chute kept clogging up. After investigating the situation, I determined that one of the blades was installed upside down. I called the Sears Home Services Customer Support and talked to a couple of people before they understood that one of the blades was not installed correctly and they needed to send someone out to fix it. I had already paid approximately $300.00 . The best they could offer me was another appointment 1pm to 5pm (another half day off of work) in week and a half.

    On the day of the appointment the service technician was late (after 5pm - I would think that they would fix the recalls first) and asked me what I had run over (like this was somehow my fault). He said, "the blade is bent." I said, " The blade looks bent, because it is on upside down." He said," Oh". I will never use Sears Home Services again, no matter what !
