They were quick to respond to our request for an estimate. Dave came out to inspect and was direct and to the point about what the issues were, which we very much appreciated. Dave and Mr. Carter put together a couple of different proposals and once we picked a plan, they were very quick to start the job. Dave has been the lead on the project and walked us through each step, ensuring we knew what was going on. Dave and Mr. Carter were easy to contact and a pleasure to work with! This company has a can-do attitude and is very flexible with your schedule!! I would definitely hire them again!!!

They're punctual. They're very clean. They do good work. They got it done in a very short time. The price is good for the work that they did. I highly recommend them. They are ran by engineers. The person who comes out and does the estimate is an engineer and that's important.

We have been using them for several years now. It started out with them doing interior and exterior bug control. The work always went very well and they were prompt and professional.

This last time out, he was under the house for a long time and when he finally emerged, he said that the good news was that we didn't have any termite damage, though the bad news was that we had a severe water and mold problem under the house. He took loads of pictures so show me the extent of the damage.

During the process they also found a structural defect in our home as our floor is sagging. They have currently removed all of our insulation and installed a dehumidifier to help dry the area. All the vents have been sealed, mold has been remediated, and new insulation has been installed. They installed a very special electrical outlet that handles just the dehumidifier.

They have been completely above-board during the entire process. We have been shown videos and pictures, not only of the damage but of the progress of their work.

They really made me feel like they were working on their own house.

They are coming back out on August 4th to pour new footings, lift the floor, and replace all rotten wood.

No structural repairs were necessary,  but he gave a very detailed account of what I needed to do to the porch and described different materials that could be used and the pros and cons of each.  He also saw a couple of other things on the brick work that he said I might keep an eye on and described the structural conditions associated with each one.  Very professional.  Very knowledgeable.  I will call Advanced Engineering Construction if my house requires structural work.

Mr. Carter was very professional, arrived on time with a technician to inspect under our house.  When the technician returned he informed me that he was unable to get to the area with the damage, stating limited access to the front of the crawl space. Consequently there may be additional damage once access was gained to the front of the crawl space.
As I have been under my house several times including to the front of the crawl space, knew that it is possible to access the damaged area. This gave me heartburn and we decided to select another contractor.

AEC performed work on time, as promised. Phil and Frank did good job of keeping me informed of progress.  I had a lot of questions which they answered in terms I could understand. They were very professional. I also had job reviewed after completion by home inspector who indicated their work was of good quality and value.  Very responsive to call even after job complete and bill paid. AEC explained potential problems that could occur ( never did) instead of waiting until after the fact.  I would recommend to friends and have already done so.

We had the middle of our house and one corner of it sinking, some mold, and standing water in our crawl space. Terry Garmon who is a very nice architectural engineer/sales guy came over and took a look, took a ton of measurements, crawled under the house to inspect it and then came and told us the bad news of how much damage there was. He was very nice, explained everything so that even this blonde could understand it. Told us his recommendations of what was needed immediately and what can wait till later. Terry walked us around the house and told us things we could so to prevent further damage, like making sure the water from the gutters don't drain next to the house. He wasn't pushy like most sales guys. He was even having fun playing with out new kitten with his laser lights when he was taking his measurements to see how much the rooms slanted.

Within a few weeks they came out and first did the Smart Jack system to stabalize the middle of our house and treated the mold that was under there.  We signed a second contract with them at that point to get the Push Pier System to stabalize the corner of our house and order the Cleanspace Encapsulation System (basement waterproofing system). Even though Terry said the basement waterproofing system wasn't a necessity at that time, he did explain how it would keep the mold out of the house and prevent further damage and later expensive repairs.  On June 8th-10th, their was a crew of 5 guys out here working on the house. They were all very nice, and courteous (my husband happened to be working the night shift hat week so he was asleep during the day while they worked under the house. They made sure they kept fairly quiet so that he could get sleep.)  When they were finished you couldn't tell they were ever in my yard, they picked up everything!

The crawlspace is very clean now, my kids and I had fun crawling around there after the guys left to check out all the work they did. They weren't kidding when they said they could make it so clean you could eat under there if ya wanted to (we didn't test that theory).
