  • I had a wonderful experience with Hired Hammers. Hired Hammers quoted me a low, better than fair price. They were knowledgeable of the work, and performed an excellent service. Hired Hammers scheduled my project, showed up on time and completed the work. Hired Hammers later promptly returned to address warranty work, and satisfied any concerns. I enjoyed having them at my home, and I am very pleased with the work they performed. I would definitely hire them again. Steve.

  • Excellent work performed on schedule. Professional and pleasant crew. Some plastering required and they recommended an excellent company which also provided professional, excellent work. Very pleased!

  • Beware of this company! I had hired this company on a recommendation and toward the end of my home's project realized I had made a terrible decision. At first, everything seemed to be going well. Charles and his crew showed up and completed two or three days worth of work and said they would be back Monday to finish. Well Monday rolled around, and the owner, Charles, gave me an excuse on why they couldn't make it, then Tuesday, another excuse, then Wednesday nothing, Thursday nothing, and Friday they showed back up to try and complete the job. Well, it was supposed to take Friday and Saturday to finish, but they were rushing to end Friday. They "completed the job" and left. First of all, the paint job was AWFUL, and when I say awful I mean my 6-year-old-daughter could have painted it better. There were clear roller marks everywhere, red paint on the light fixtures, red paint on the white trim around the windows, red paint on the tile, and it was just splatted onto the wall and rushed through. Any type of line was not straight and just looked like zero effort was put into it. My bathroom curtains were thrown onto the floor and left on the floor, there were screws laying around, blue painter's tape still left on the ceiling (in multiple places), staples on top of the carpet (which one went right through my foot), light switch covers weren't put back on (four were left laying on the sink in my spare bathroom), two lights were left hanging down in the hallway, one bathroom light fixture was painted on, another bathroom light fixture was half put back, and trash was left laying all over my house in and my yard. They also cleaned out all their paint supplies in my yard and left it there for me to clean up. He also "fixed" my carpet as part of the job, and as soon as I went over it with a vacuum it came wholly unattached and rolled up. During the job, I overheard his worker saying he didn't even know how to put the carpet padding down and that he had never done it before. Why tell me you can fix my carpet if you clearly can't? Why? So, I texted the owner, Charles, about the way everything was left, and he apologized and came back the next day to "fix everything." He was clearly annoyed that he had to come back, barely looked at me, barely spoke to me, half-effort fixed only part of the issues, and rushed back out my door to leave. He literally walked out the door while I was speaking to him, didn't tell me he was finished, didn't ask me to look at it to see if it was good, just left and then texted me that he left a light fixture hanging down so paint would dry. There was paint all over that light fixture and he left it there. He didn't stop and take two seconds to tell me to my face that he left the light hanging down, either. After he left, there was still painter's tape on the ceiling, the paint job was only slightly fixed, light fixtures still loose or hanging down, he put the emergency gas shut off light switch cover on the wrong switch and didn't even ask me if that's where it went. He told me he would refund me the $150 I paid him to fix my carpet, and left without refunding me, and instead, decided to hammer a tack, nail or fastener of some kind in the carpet to hold it down, and then refused to refund me the $150 he promised. I asked for a refund for the awful paint job, because I'm going to have to another company fix it, and he said he would send me a check for the bathroom less the cost of what he bought in supplies. However, he decided to use a lot of paint I already had here, so he didn't have to purchase a lot because my supplies were mostly used. Charles is refusing to refund me for the carpet because he hammered in a fastener. After I reached back out to him for being completely rude and not fixing everything he agreed to, he proceeded to text me that there was something about me that "he didn't like." Who says that to someone? I am sure he doesn't like me because I called him out on unprofessionalism, rudeness, a bad attitude, horrible work ethic, inefficiency and legit awful painting. Now I am stuck having to get someone else to come out and do the job the right way. Samurai Painting rushed through everything, cut corners, were incredibly inefficient, had lousy communication, and my entire experience was horrible. I regret hiring this company!

  • Mr. Howell has successfully completed a substantial amount of exterior caulking, painting, removal and replacement of rotted wood with mostly PVC trim boards, and soffit repair on a three-story colonial home. He completed the work on time and did an excellent job. Our next project for Mr. Howell is to repair our two front porches (removal and replacement of rotted pickets, hand rail, and stairs) - along with painting of our wood porch flooring and deck. After searching for a while, I have finally found someone who is reliable, shows up on time, promptly responds to phone messages and texts, is a problem-solver, knows what he's doing, and is fairly priced!

  • I reached out based on Angie's List reviews. The owner, Tony, scheduled an estimate appointment that was convenient for my travel schedule. Upon arrival, it was evident they were professional (he asked the simple question of should he remove his shoes). We reviewed each of the areas and he provided an estimate. He provided a quote and reviewed it with their specials to see if any of those would work better. He even asked to check out our previous paint to see if they could use any of that paint (Sherwin Williams Super Paint) to save us some money. They had a schedule change and were able to accommodate a next day appointment. Thomas arrived slightly ahead of schedule (not a problem as he didn't want to be late!). He took the extra time to ensure everything was protected in the painting areas. They applied multiple coats where required. We also had shed doors outside that required painting. They applied the first coat. They worked elsewhere inside while that dried completely (and to keep moving). When going outside to apply the second coat, Thomas felt a couple of raindrops (rain was not in the forecast). Rather than slap on the second coat and leave, he consulted with me and explained the dangers if the rain would hit to paint before drying (causing more issues). He then asked to reschedule as soon as possible to finish the doors and asked that we review everything for a punch list. I truly appreciate the honesty in Thomas for bringing the rain to my attention. I feel most contractors would have painted the doors and tried to collect final payment vs. doing the right thing (as Got it Covered did). Upon his return, he quickly finished up the items and the punch list (very small) was very easy to walk through. The level of professionalism and focus on ensuring we were happy was evident (most contractors just complain about a punch list!). We will absolutely use this company in the future!

  • Chris was amazing. Came out the same day for a free estimate. Save me $600.00 by 2 another estimates that had been given to me. Was professional, honest, did the work on the spot, and knew what the issue was immediately. He was non intrusive, cleaned up afterwards, and I have a ton of other projects I have already scheduled for him to do. You will not regret hiring this company.

  • I'm so glad I found this company. For years, I've tried different "handyman" businesses and was never satisfied. James Mercaldo and his wife, Kelly, were a pleasure to work with. Kelly got back to me quickly and scheduled the estimate. The price was fair for all the work I needed done. It was a bit of a wait before the job could start because James was booked, and I was going out of town. He's clearly in demand, but worth waiting for. Since my items weren't urgent, I was able to wait. James did an excellent job, and I'm very happy with everything. He was professional and personable, as was the young man he had assisting him. He always called when he was on his way, and worked at least eight hours a day all three days he was here. He was thorough, never cut corners, and cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. Incredible work ethic. As a female who was here alone, I felt entirely comfortable and safe with him at my home, which is important to me. I talked with him about other repairs I'd like done in the future, and I've already recommended him to a family member. I highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

  • The paint crew was very reliable. We had a time constraint and they actually rearranged things so they could come earlier than originally scheduled. They did some wood repairs that were needed. They were conscientious about cleaning up after the work was completed. They did an excellent job.

  • I have worked for a large general contractor for the last 15 years so I am accustomed to working with painting companies large and small. From the jump, Tim (owner) was a complete professional. Everything that was scheduled from the quote to the work was scheduled for my convenience. The workmanship was stellar, his guys are top notch and personable and his prices golden. If you hire another company, you are making a big mistake. Contractors like All Pro only exist in a blue moon. Don't miss out.

  • He was professional. He is reasonably priced. He had quite a challenge our home. He first pressure washed the home. He went above and beyond. He did excellent work. I would recommend him to anyone
