    ASAP CONSTRUCTION LLC
Removed rotted wood without having to tear out the entire window. Interior window facing that was removed to access the rotted wood was not damaged and returned to its place as if it had never been removed. Rotted wood was replaced with composite to ensure longer life. Window retains its water tight seal.

Estimates given were accurate. Repairs were done perfectly and we were very happy with the remodel of the bathroom. All work was done in a timely manner and workers cleaned up well each day. Workers were professional, polite, and trustworthy.

    General Home Improvements
Jim was great. We had a lot of little projects that needed finishing up as well as a few larger ones and he took care of them all. Quality work; quick service. We extended the scope of the initial project with him because of speed and quality of the initial work done.

Arrived on time and started removal of windows, A few if the windows had a great deal of wood rot. Three required the bottom part of the frame to be replaced.. I was told this was included in the price. The door had wood rot also and the old door and frame needed replacement. Had to kick in another 500 due to the added work required in the door and three windows. This was alright with me, felt it was a fair deal. I was told it would take two days but it took four days for all the added work.

    METRO WOOD WORKS INC
My apologies for the long review, but I think Metro Wood Works (MWW) deserves it! We had a need for our screened-in porch to be remodeled. The contractor that previously built the porch didnt use pressure treated wood nor did he take precautions to limit the amount of water that would flow onto the porch (its a slab and ended up being lower than our pool). This created a large amount of water damage. We received several bids from various contractors. From the moment Steve Croxton arrived onsite, he was able to diagnose issues with the original build and make recommendations (he was the only contractor to do so the others simply asked what I wanted and bid the job on those specifications). Steve was very upfront on what they expected to encounter and communicated potential issues that may arise during a remodel (one never truly knows what is behind a wall!). Steve provided us with different options and explained the pros/cons to each option (to include price differences). I really liked having someone work with us on the design vs. being handed a cookie cutter design. Likewise, he was very open to us using another vendor for carpeting (as we turned it from a screened-in porch to a multi-season room with the Eze-Breeze windows he suggested). They had a backlog of work, thus couldnt start immediately (I saw this as a positive as I always wonder about the company that can start a large job that day!). Steve provided status updates and started earlier than expected. With construction, I always worry about a good sales team that simply pitches the work over to a subcontractor and is non-existent until payment is due. Steve was onsite either all day or several times a day to ensure everything was running smoothly with his employees. We did run into a weather delay (not their issue) and he asked if he could bring in a subcontractor to work side-by-side with his team to get back on schedule. It was evident even his subcontractor was hand-picked as they worked as one unit. During the remodel, they found termite damage (once the siding and old sheathing was removed). They immediately brought it to our attention and provided options. They rearranged their schedules/tasks and worked with our new termite provider so they could ***** the situation. I liked that MWW readjusted to other tasks vs. leaving and going to another job. The termite repair required an entire window to be removed, framing replaced, the window replaced, and the inside plaster work redone. MWW completed the work and coordinated all of this to happen all in one day so the inside of our home wasnt disrupted that evening. Most contractors would have left us with a piece of plastic over the window for days! The team member he used to fix the swirl plaster on the inside took his time and you literally cannot tell it was repaired (which is very difficult for swirl plaster work). A key item of a reputable company for me is problem resolution. During the planning phase, both Steve and I assumed on a color selection. Unfortunately, we didnt notice the problem until the material was delivered. I brought it up to MWW and I was amazed how understanding they were (as we both assumed a different color). They could have easily been like most contractors and put that on the homeowner. Instead, they called the supplier and had my color choice delivered at no extra cost to me. I was not only impressed by this, but also how MWW took the time to point out how they document that selection on their new contracts to avoid any confusion in the future. Im also firm believer in service after the sale. After completing our punch list and final payment, I noticed something I had pointed out verbally to the team (minor aesthetic item) that wasnt completed. Most organizations would simply state the job was completed and request a change order for more $ to complete the work. MWW was out to my house within a couple of days to complete the task no questions asked and were very polite. It's great receiving so many compliments on our porch!

    Quality Built Exteriors
The installer was very professional doing a great job and cleaned up after themselves daily. There was a hick up when one of the windows went missing which caused a delay in completing the window installation.

    Ace Home Improvements
They were able to send out a guy to re-shim the door and get it in proper working order within a week of calling them. That was pretty amazing given that this was a small job for a contractor to fix. Other, less experienced people would have just replaced the door but the guy from Ace took the time and shimmed the door frame till it worked properly. The door was twisted and he instinctively knew what to do to fix it. It was a little expensive but well worth it now that I can use my back door once again!

    Big Mike's Maintenance LLC
Mr. Mike and his crew were very knowledgeable and experienced with the level of craftsmanship they've performed in my bathroom. We were extremely pleased with the design suggestions and were able to quickly make an informed decision on our tile pattern. His knowledge base on materials also assisted us with making a quick determination as to which products to purchase. Additionally, he identified subpar work and faulty material used by our previous contractor (3-D Unlimited). He gave us the true level of craftmanship that a LICENSED Contractor should have and was missing from the other contractor! His crew always remained professional while instilling a certain sense of pride when performing their work and the results were remarkable. I truly will be hiring Big Mike's Construction again for additional work needed on my home.

I went online and requested a quote. They returned my call promptly and when we agreed upon the work they were on the job immediately. They had a guy doing work in the area and were able to make the repair the same day. The work they did was excellent. I would highly recommend Ace Home Improvements.
