    Christian Psychotherapy Services
She's mainly out of Virginia Beach office but she goes to the Chesapeake office one day a week. Their front office leaves a bit to be desired. They are a little discombobulated. She's so busy and in demand that she doesn't have enough time to spend with the patients. Dr. Guanzon is an angel and has treated my family members with love and wisdom.

    Churchland Psychiatric Associates
They have twice lost my child's file; the phone system was down and they could not be contacted when we needed a medication refill; the last straw was taking my child in for a week-long inpatient stay follow up and being given a script, an order for lab work, and no counseling recommendation - after I asked! Oh - and the lab work had been done at the hospital before she left, but the office didn't even ask us for a release for the information - just gave me on order to do it again.

    Andrew Galbreath DO
He's very knowledgeable. He doesn't mind searching for answers. I've been having problem with my leg and he did some testing several months ago which wasn't conclusive and he said the condition worsen and come back and he gave a second board on the path and I did. He suspected on my condition but he wasn't sure so he went to one of his textbook and brought it in and we read through it. He also diagram the area on my thigh where it's having a problem and when I looked at that area the design of my thigh well as the design to the textbook, they matched up perfectly. His staff are very professional and friendly.

    Parker, Dr. Charles E.
Dr Parker is a wonderful, kind, positive and very motivational doctor. Having Fibromyalgia it is hard to find a doctor who has the knowledge and willingness to delve deep into the underlying causes of my illness. I have been his patient for several years and he has uncovered several things that were hidden to other doctors. I had always thought I had problems with gluten, and my distended belly after eating wheat was pretty obvious to me, but standard tests weren't showing a problem, and then Dr Parker did testing for genetic markers for gluten sensitivity and they came back positive. I also found that casein in dairy was a big problem, and also certain other things that showed up during the very sensitive Elisa testing for allergies. I see him for routine med visits, and I love going to my visits because Dr Parker has usually just come back from another medical conference where he has talked with other experts in the field and he is fresh with excitement for what he has learned. He is 71 years old and is so full of energy and passion for what he does. If you are tired of cookie cutter doctors, and you want to see someone who actually does the things you read about in the books, then you will like Dr Parker. In addition to traditional medicine, he also uses targeted supplements that enhance brain function. And he monitors hormone levels and thyroid function. And if you can't get in right away with him, after you are an established patient you can see any of the Nurse Practitioners and they are excellent too!

    Thomas, Dr. Karen M.
I love Dr. Thomas and her team. They are responsive to how I am feeling at each appointment and act accordingly. They understand this is a progressive disease and help you prepare for it. Dr. Thomas listens to what I have to say before making any decisions as to treatment. She is honest about what I read and question off the internet, even if it is not what I wanted to hear. I would be lost w\ithout her and her team.

I needed help to file a workers compensation claim. The 2nd counselor acted like it was above her duties, but agreed to write the medical portion of my claim after telling me it would be $150. At this point, I didn't care. I was running out of time to file. My problems became worse and she took me out of work. When I called to schedule an appointment with her, I was told that she had left to start her own practice. The attitude from the office was pretty much and quot;sorry there is nothing I can do. Would you like her new numberand quot;. I had to contact the assistant manager to get some help. She returned my call and apologized. She offered me a new counselor. I did not want to deal with this office anymore. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me then, that I would have to call the counselor that left the office at her new practice. So I called and had to start over at her office as a brand new patient. On the day of my appointment, I showed early to fill out new patient forms only to find a note on the door that she'd be back. After an hour of waiting, I left and called Christion Psycotherapy's assistant manager, left her a message and never heard back from her. I'm happy to say that I have found a new doctor and I now know what it's like to be treated with kindness, caring and respect. He is so frustrated for me, that he has agreed to write my report. All I need is my medical records. I don't think this is going to go to smoothly, since I've already called and left a message with no response, and called again today only to be told it may be a two week turn around to get it. Really? I'm fed up! I thought that they'd have a little more compassion for someone suffering from a mental illness. But they are lacking in compassion, rude and great at giving you the run around.

    Hanbury Family Medicine
I like them and I have been using them for a long time. I would refer them. They are thorough and it is not too hard to get an appointment. There are different doctors in the practice and I have had good experiences with them when my particular doctor was not available.

    Amanda Rhodes MD
She is so compassionate and thorough. She is knowledgeable on all the medicines and she checks your records to make sure that everything you takes in combines together and doesn't cause you any problmes. She is just the best I have ever had. As far as I know, she is open and she calls me at home. She has an excellent office environment. She is always on time. Her professionalism and how she interacts to me, it is above my expectation.

    Pal, Dr. Joginder
Dr. Pal literally saved my life. Within two weeks of seeing him, I could smile again. I was happy. I started to feel able to cope with my life, my family, and my friends. Dr. Pal not only prescribed the right medication for me, he also LISTENED to me. He gave me holistic advice on how to manage my health, my sleep and my life. I will always be grateful. I am still a patient of Dr. Pal's and will continue to be. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pal to anyone who is suffering through mental illness. Good luck to you and Godspeed.

    Barot, Ia
I went in to see Ia Barot a few years back for an examination. The team at Dr. Barot's office was very cold and I did not really think they provided a good service. I was unhappy with the way Dr. Barot treated me during the examination and the worst part was that it took 2 months to get in to see him in the first place. I will not use this service again in the service.
