Chiropractor reviews in Chesapeake

    Kempsville Chiropractic
Started going there in 2013. During one visit the doctor that I usually went to for my manipulations was not available. The 1 female chiropractor that was there at that time ended up seeing me. She did a manipulation of my neck that immediately caused pain. I mentioned it at my next visit and it was nonchalantly dismissed. I ended up canceling my treatment plan a couple of weeks later. I still have a great amount of pain in my neck to this day and I am terrified that I will need surgery one day. I trusted this clinic and they failed me.

Their office environment is excellent. They got their working list. It would not be cured. They do maintenance and I know that. They are very effective, but when you get to the middle age, you got things that are normal and when your body ages, your body rebels sometimes. I consider what they do is excellent because it keeps me going. I think it is very good. Their billing and administration is excellent.

Dr. David N. Block Family Chiropractic
Everything about him is excellent. He is very nice. His demeanor is nice. He is honest and they are there for me when I need them. They get me right in. They listen and take care of the problem. They do their therapy or whatever, and I am in and out. If I could afford it, I would go there three times a week just to get a deep tissue massage.

Manipulation were great. They helped my daughters back problems. The massages were skimpy they rushed you in and rushed you out.?? Then they lost track of her appointments and she went over 4 or 5 of them and they tried charging extra for them.

The first thing i will say is if you had an issue with Jesus, you should not go there. It was too religious for me, i felt like i was going to church. I went with them because they did X-ray and they seemed really great. They seemed to pay less attention. They are available. The office seemed weird for me. The staff are friendly. He is good at small talk but needs to focus more on patients and chiropractic care.

Dr. Fenn is an incredible Chiropractor. I have been going to him for several years and he always helps me feel better. He has a very gentle technique and is always friendly. He cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know them so he can find the best way to help them heal and maintain good overall health.

My husband had a pinched nerve for years.  He had tried massage therapy, cortizone shots, physical therapy, etc.  Eventually, he went to Planet Chiropractic.  They did X-rays and met with both of us to discuss the recommended treatment plan.  He was given massages and physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments all as part of his treatment plan.  It worked wonders for my husband.

The technician performed several tests on our son that gauged the areas he was having problems with.  They matched exactly where he previously told us he had pain and showed other areas of concern.  The Dr. took some x-rays and then decided not to perform the back adjustment because she saw something concerning on the x-rays.  She adjusted his neck and upper back but avoided his lower spine. We are glad she did because she referred us back to his physician to have the x-rays reviewed which led to an MRI and our son has two fractured vertebrae in his lower spine.
We would definitely use her again as she is thorough and cares about her patient.

He is not thorough. In my first visit you would think a doctor would do testing because I told him I had a problem with my back, his reply was don't worry I know where to put my hands on you. I ended up having more problems and my regular gave me a note to discontinue services with them and I did that. Now when I first went there they said it would be $35 a visit and he said, oh wait, we have this military special. You can pay $125 a month and come whenever you want and as much as you want. And I was like, oh okay. Yet I did not find any contract or what have you. So when I stopped they sent me a bill for the rest the year contract. It turned out to be a year contract. I was like, wait minute I didn't sign a contract so they turned it back to like $35 a visit and I am like confused. I didn't agree, you have never written how much the price is where you signed. Their little paragraph that you sign it just says, you are responsible for the cost per visit and it never tells you details. To run the story short I had to go to court and I lost up to about $400 I am responsible for. He also tells people make sure you go on an online search engine provider and give me all A's. That's when you get there and you can't really go back and undo it because you have already put it on there to make himself look good and that's far from the truth of how he is. He tells you that you will both benefit from the massage therapist he has but he requires you to be adjusted before hand. So their visits that I had turned into a $35 fee, do you see the tricks that he did? So I am not very thrilled with him at all and their professionalism so people need to be warned at a time.

    Nelson, Dr. Carl
He is wonderful. His adjustments are great. I never feel pressured that I have to come back. He's a good man. His office staff is very sweet and polite. He's quite knowledgeable and makes suggestions as needed.
