"Hope is amazing to work with.
She worked with my limited schedule, came to my home and showed me samples.
Then she continued her fantastic service while I was out of state and helped me arrange the installation of carpet in my new Chesapeake home.
Yes, the cost is expensive. But the feel of our amazing carpet (and thick padding) is completely worth it.
The only downside to the experience was the less-than-tidy installers. They didn't take away the old carpet, didn't clean up the small pieces of new carpet that were everywhere, and didn't rehang closet doors.
To Hope &

's credit, the moment I did call these issues in, they had a team out to my home to take away the old carpet and rehang those doors the very next day.
Their customer service is truly the best.

"We cannot say enough great things about
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. We hired them to make various repairs and renovations to our rental property in order to get it ready to sale. We live 3 hours away and was a little apprehensive about going through the process long distance. We met with
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
the owner, and was very pleased with his professionalism and courtesy. He understood our need to make the renovations in a timely matter so that we could put the house on the
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
as soon as possible. He suggested and then started the outside renovations first before the tenants moved out in order to get a jump on the project .He was slated to start the indoor renovations on Oct 1st, the day after the tenants moved out. We got word that the tenants were leaving a week early. I called
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to see if he could start earlier then Oct 1st and he was in to start the renovations the very afternoon the tenants vacated. We are so pleased with all the work he has completed. He even fixed small things that he found without charging us extra. He stayed in constant contact with us sending pictures and updates as things were finished. When we needed services preformed that was beyond his scope of work, he recommended companies to us that provided outstanding services also. We spoke with Courtny his secretary on several occasions and she was very courteous and helpful. The house was finished within two weeks, we put it on the

Oct 4th and we had a contract on it within a week and a half. When the inspection report came in with a few things the prospective buyers wanted done, our realtor called

and he was in the next day completing the task. We cannot convey how very pleased we are. We know without a doubt
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked

"I got bids from 5 contractors on my room addition. I decided to go with Ace even though he wasn't the very lowest bid because the owner,
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, took the time to explain the process to me and listened to what I had to say about what I was looking for. His crew did an awesome job. They picked up after themselves, which was important to me. Mr.
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
returned my calls in a timely manner. He took care of a couple of problems that were found during construction that were not part of the original contract. He suggested changes along the way that made the end result better. I absolutely love my house now and am glad I made the decision to use
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. I have recommended this company to several friends and will continue to do so.

"Good.
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
who I believe is the owner came out and measured and gave me advice on how to paint the baseboards before having the new carpet installed. He seems to be a very nice and caring guy.
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, along with
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
who seemed to be there several times when we were searching for carpet were very patient and just overall nice to deal with. The installers were also very good at there job and have years of experience. So, my overall experience went good. The 3,000 price for everything is because I chose a better grade of carpet and I have very large rooms. I'm tired of replacing carpet every couple of years so, rather than take a
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
with the big box stores, I chose to go with a local company and go with their advice. I'll update in a couple of years but, I feel that I've made a good decision and I liked dealing with a company that really knows their business.

"We bought carpet from them on December 21, 2008. Installation happened on December 23, 2008. This carpet was for our playroom/family room. The installers broke my
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Animal vacuum. They said their vacuum wasn't working and had to use mine. In less than one minute of turning it on, the vacuum broke. The guy must've ran over staples or some metal object. I ran upstairs to see what the sound was and he looked dumbfounded. He then went out to his truck, grabbed his own vacuum, and
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and behold, it DID work. So he lied to me. Secondly, the installation was lousy. They chipped off our white paint along the edges of the molding and trim around the doors. They didn't install the carpet correctly on the stairs. AND to top it all off, they put the seam right down the middle of the room and it appeared to be two different shades of carpet. We were very dissatisfied with the installation and called the manager the next day. I told him they not only broke my vacuum, but there was a very visible seam going right down the middle of the room. The manager said he would call me back after he spoke to his installer about the vacuum. He called back several hours later and the installer told the manager he never used my vacuum. Unbelievable. Of course I rebuffed this. The manager said he was going on vacation and could not come out to look at the seam until January. Instead of the store manager coming out to look, he had another manager of the
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
store come out to look at it. He did admit to seeing a large seam down the middle and also noted other installation problems along the walls and the corners. In the meantime, we had a third party come out to inspect the installation. He said it looked like in one area it was a 'crushed' seam and in the very visible area it looked like a 'side match' issue, which means the dye levels vary throughout the roll. Now it's been three weeks and we have not been able to put back any of our furniture or utilize the room in any way because we are trying to get this carpet either fixed or taken out altogether. On January 22, (a month after original installation), finally a group of 3 guys (including the manager of the
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
store, not Chesapeake store where we bought the carpet from) came out to tear out half the carpet to fix the 'side match' issue and crushed seam. They said they would come back at a later date to fix the stairs. THERE IS STILL A SEAM ISSUE! And the manager admitted to seeing it. They made an appt. to come out this morning to see it again. They never showed up. My husband called to ask where they were and they said they never made an appt. with us. This company is unethical and VERY difficult to deal with. I will never use them again and tell everyone I know who is looking for carpet to never use them. This is an ongoing problem and I see no end in sight.

"This was an excellent experience. One crew did the carpeting while a different crew did the flooring. Both were punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked

"Clay provided an estimate in a timely fashion, but we had a tight deadline and it took a while to get a written contract. Work did not being until 9 days after the original start date and a number of issues arose during the course of the project - injuries, illnesses and obligations to other clients. As we neared the move-in date it wasn't looking promising. That's when everything turned on a dime. Within the span of a week, the entire project moved to completion, with crews working 7 days a week. While I was a bit frustrated at points, Clay and his team really proved that they have what it takes to get things done! Everyone who worked in our home was polite and friendly. There are some small items (like the build-out to hold the over-head light fixture) with which we're not 100%, happy, but overall, we are satisfied with the finished product and would work with him again."
B
"They started late and had to be called back several time to complete work or make corrections. Overall, the quality of the work was good, but you have to stay on them. This was our second experience with them. The first experience was a small dry wall job with which we very pleased."

"
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
collected $100 in advance to perform measurements for both Carpet and Hard Flooring. Measurement people never scheduled the appointments in the agreed time window, and quotes were never provided.
Chesapeake Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, after two certified letters requesting a refund of the $100 for services never rendered, refused to answer either letter within over 45 days total. Both letters advised we'd post on Angie's List as well file a complaint with the BBB. We're also reporting this matter to the BBB."
