    Checkered Flag does my auto service.  They are good. I also leased my car through them. I was trying to find out information on how to get my tax documents, which doesn't include that visit, and they wouldn't contact me back. So that was really annoying to the point, where in the end, I said forget them. I called up Toyota and they helped.  They were really great. It was decently priced.

    For the first year of routine maintenance, everything was fine. After the second year, every time I'd go in for a repair, they would have me bring the vehicle back because they forgot something. Also, in 2014, they said they wouldn't pass my car wouldn't for inspection because the engine mount was leaking. However, I hadn't noticed any vibration. I have no trust in their services and had to inspect their work after I got the car back from them. They were dishonest and reused fasteners that shouldn't be reused.

    I've been here a few times to have maintenance on my 2013 Accord performed.  Up until now I've had no complaints.  I dropped my car off for an oil change.  They called to say it was ready to pick up but also said my engine/cabin filters needed to be replaced for $113 (yes, that much for less than $30 of combined filters and 5 minutes of labor).
    Driving home I noticed that the oil life indicator had not been reset.  So I called for instructions and I reset it.  Then I went to open my glove compartment and everything fell out and I couldn't close it again. When they checked the cabin filter they forgot to hook up the little hydraulic piston that slowly opens the compartment.  OK, so 2 pretty minor things so far. 
    Then I noticed on their multi point inspection that they said all my tires were at 32 psi.  So I check each tire and they are all either 22 or 23 psi.  So they didn't even check it.  I looked at my last "multi point inspection" from March and they didn't even write the pressures  down on that one.
    So now I'm worried about my oil - I check it and it is a caramel color.  After any oil change your oil should be almost clear like vegetable oil.  Also, the oil life prior to the change was only at 50% to begin with.  After I brought it back they did another oil change.  They handed my keys back and apologized, but didn't say anything about the oil.  I asked, "So....was the oil never changed"? and they said, "Oh yeah, it was".  You'd think they would have made it a big point to tell me I had nothing to worry about in the first place. I still don't think it was changed, so its my word against theirs.  I should have dragged them out to my car and showed them all in person.  Oh look, after the 2nd oil change, it is clear now.
    So the lesson here is always second check any work you have done on your car.

    It was done on time. It took how long an inspection to take. The workers were fine. They have found a couple of things on the state inspection that I was not aware of that needed to be fixed. The price was reasonable. The quality of the service was fine.

    Unbelievable but true! Please read this before you take your car to this shop. Our 1 year old car was taken in for a routine state inspection and left to be picked up later. Upon completing the inspection the shop manager made the decision to have an employee use our vehicle to give another customer a ride home. On the way back to the shop the employee wrecked resulting in a total loss of our vehicle. It would have been cheaper to get an expired inspection sticker ticket.

    Walk in on a Thursday morning. 2 cars ahead of me, but I was still in and out in under an hour. Very courteous. TV, magazines, snacks and free coffee in the waiting room. Love families that care about their business!

    I took my car in for a state inspection and was told the power steering fluid was low and failed inspection due to this. They said it had to be flushed to achieve the correct level and no way could they add just enough to pass inspection as this could "seize" the car up. I called my husband who told them to put the rejection sticker on and we'd bring it back after adding fluid. They then "did us a favor" and added just enough fluid to pass the inspection. While I was waiting I noticed a sign that one of their "specials" was for the power steering flushing. We talked to another mechanic who said no way this is true! Also read a review on another site where they told a woman that her brakes had to be replaced to pass inspection or her car had to be towed. Obviously they are trying to rip off people on their state inspections!!

    I brought my truck to get 4 tires and an inspection but asked for them to do a pre inspection before removing my sticker. It took all day to get this done and when they finished they said I needed wheel bearings and rotors to get inspected. They wanted over $1200 for this service. I told them I was going to fix myself and bring back for inspection. I reiterated that if I get new bearings and rotors that my truck would pass inspection. The manager, Justin , said yes but noted to check all my lights when I come back and if I got there at 7am he would get me right in, no problem. First , their repair cost on parts was around $900. I got all the parts new for $350 on parts So I fixed truck for under $400 with labor over the weekend. The next Tuesday I arrived at 7:10 and talked to Wesley who told me they couldn't wait on me until 40 minutes. I mentioned Justin told me I could get right in so I could get to work on time. We'll over an hour later they took my truck into inspection and said I couldn't pass unless I got new ball joints ( they could do for $770). I asked how they missed that on the pre inspection and I kid you not, this is what they told me, the person who did the pre inspection was not qualified to make judgements about inspections. . So I left with a failed inspection and once again found parts for under $50 that they wanted $223 . I now have to pay a mechanic again to work in same area of vehicle which amounts to double paying for part of the process. I have to hope they don't come up with anything else after I fix ball joints.

    After my bad experience , management called me a performed all services necessary for inspection for free. Glad to see companies stand behind there services even when they make a mistake.

    The service work was beyond exceptional, which is almost unheard of today.  The service provider was polite, timely and detailed.  If anything changed while working on vehicle he would come out to keep me informed.  Fairly priced and tells client right up front, if quote changes, as he works on the vehicle the service provider will come out and update client on progress.  The service provider has always been consistently excellent.  The client does not have a lot of car knowledge but finds it refreshing that the service provider treats his clients with respect.
