    The Grow Company
Good salesmanship and we still like the design, but the quality of execution was poor. Half of the lighting has stopped working. One tree died, another has two leaders on top and looks bad. One type of shrub is decimated yearly by deer. All of another died. But really the worst part is the stonework. Part of a brick facade is peeling off. We are constantly recementing the belgian blocks lining the drive, and now the last straw this year is that blocks from the strip of belgian block demarcating the paving from crushed stone are popping up. We could see from the beginning the quality of work wasnt good, and time has only reinforced our opinion.

Very very well. Michael Pickwoad came up with the river stone solution to my problem. Mud bog that was making my dogs perpetually filthy. I originally sought an estimate for artificial turf. Great job at a fair price, done promptly and professionally. I had a life-long friend with a similar dog/mud problem look at my yard; she hired Michael and he did her job today (2/28/19)/

Graham and his team did great work. I especially appreciated that he was timely in his communication and true to his word. The work was effective for our needs, and the crew cleaned up beautifully after completion.

    The Great Outdoors, LLC
It went perfectly, The Great Outdoors did a superb job and their customer service was beyond terrific. Their price was lower then the larger landscape services in town and the quality of their work better. Also they did the work sooner then the big landscape companies were willing to do it.

It went well after initial problems caused by abnormal rain levels. Problems were solved expeditiously. Project was completed on time. I was very pleased and plan to have Mr. Howe do additional landscaping in the spring.

    Waynesboro Landscape & Garden Center
I truly found a partner for my project. The cost was a commitment for me, but it seemed comparable to several other bids. And the partnership I sensed from the beginning of our interaction is what sold me on this company. The lead landscape architect, Van Anderson, listened to my ideas and needs, made suggestions, then promised to work with me throughout the process to make sure I was pleased. His team members were polite and friendly, extremely hard-working and punctual, and experts at their craft. I worked from home as they did THEIR work, so I was able to see how much thought and time they put into each step. My hardscape is gorgeous better than I could have expected  and I'd recommend Waynesboro Landscaping for any project.

    Wyant Tree Service & Landscaping
This is a side yard that, while we wished it would look nice, we were more concerned about the budget and just getting something to stop the erosion and water collection. Charles was focused on our budget and brought all the ideas and suggestions that he thought would meet our budget and needs. What he suggested and then created ended up exceeding our expectations. Our side yard looks really wonderful and will solve our erosion and water issues. He also came in under his estimated budget! It was hard getting the job started as it has been especially rainy and he was unable to complete jobs that were scheduled before us but once he started he was finished in two days which for what was done seems amazing! We are so glad we stuck it out and waited because what we ended up with was so worth the wait! Charles is such a nice man, he is on the job the whole time and brings a hard working crew with him!

    Albemarle Lawn & Landscaping

Basically nightmare scenario. I had a price in writing before they began. They started weeks after they were supposed to begin then asked for more money for materials during the project (which I reluctantly agreed to pay even though was fixed price). The project was not completed on time (for a wedding event) and then they came to me with bill for a change order for about 45% over another $4000. (nothing had changed).  Job was sloppy; they splashed mortar on the side of the house, there were cracks were in many mortar joints, overall it was a mess. The brick mason I had come in to clean it up said I should really remove all mortar and start over. He said it was the worst job he had ever seen!!!

Best of all they filed a civil suit to try to get more money. I had to waste time going to court. I had owed them $700, which I was willing to pay just to be done with it. The judge basically threw them out, said I should pay $360. Unfortunately since I didn't have a affidavit or witness he did not take into account cost for me to have it redone. Brick mason said it would be $3800 to fix it.

I usually don't like to be negative but I wish someone would have warned me about these guys.

    Acclaim Services
Both jobs had excellent results. The parking pad was designed by Mark with curved lines that merge into
the sidewalk and existing driveway.. It is in the front yard, so we wanted it to look nice as well as be functional.
Mark suggested use of an aggregate concrete that is simply beautiful. The combination of the parking pad and
sidewalk have addressed mobility issues that I have, and allow me to enter and exit the house by myself.
The second job transformed the front of our house from looking like an abandoned property to one that we
can enjoy. There are still some planting decisions to be made and implemented, but that will be a third job.
We look forward to working with Mark and his crew again.

    Acclaim Services
Mark Harris was very helpful and efficient in getting the work done properly and in a timely manner. Among calls placed to several landscapers, Mark was the first to call back, within minutes, although his staff was fully booked. He arrived promptly when he said he would, provided a complete estimate of the costs of the work, and saw to it that his staff arrived punctually and performed exactly as expected.
Mark is very friendly and likes to offer suggestions and ideas. He is very professional and sees to it that all work is satisfactory to the client.
