Dr. was nice and helpful. I asked for monthly lenses because I didn't like all the waste involved with daily lenses and she said that she had been hearing that a lot from patients lately and was hoping that contact makers would take that to heart and do something about it. The price (using insurance) for lenses was very reasonable for monthly lenses. Daily lenses were much more expensive. My husband went at the same time for his yearly exam and a new prescription for glasses. He thought about getting a new pair at the store, but their prices were very expensive, especially with what you can get online these days (and the quality of what he bought online was good). However, he only paid his co-pay for his exam and the Dr. and staff were lovely and helpful in all aspects. I would recommend going and I will go back.

They were very helpful short wait time, easy paper work. The doctor was really good with my doctor, listened to her concerns, did a thorough exam, and helped us solve the problem. So we were very happy.

We had a good experience. They do a very good job. The office is comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor is very professional and he seems to know what he's doing.

    Olsakovsky, Dr. Leslie A.
Routine two year follow up that had to be rescheduled because of some new issues. Very limited waiting time and much of the exam was done by a technician ("which one is better, #1 or #2) which I was fine with. Dr. O did all the inspection of the internal eye herself. Very limited waiting time for her as well. The exam was quick, efficient and she was good about answering questions. I never felt rushed.

    Kaltreider, Dr. Sara A.
The surgery went smoothly except it turned out I needed a sinusectomy on each side so the doctor could fix the tear ducts.
A week after the surgery I had a complication. I needed to go to the emergency room. It wasn't due to the surgery itself, but due to the fact I am on an aspirin regime. I had just gone back to taking aspirin. Without going into details, Dr. Kaltreider came into her office several times outside of office hours to see me. She was very receptive to my needs and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and assured.

    Olsakovsky, Dr. Leslie A.
I have gone to Dr Leslie Olsakovsky at the UVa eye clinic at the Northridge facility on 250 West in Cville for at least the past ten years. Administratively, there was a rough patch a couple of years ago on her staff with an incompetent assistant (no longer employed by UVa), but I have had no recent problems. Dr O (as she is universally known within her clinic) is intelligent and direct; she does not overprescribe, and you come away with a good sense of knowing what's up with your eyes. The UVa clinic is well run. Highly recommended.

The visit and a follow up one both went extremely well. Not only the front desk staff helped us answer many questions about insurance they provided great information for make-up paperwork as well. The doctor, technicians and nurses are super knowledgable and experienced. It's a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back for any similar needs.

Having moved from the northern Virginia area, I was used to long waits for appointments and being coldly treated by the office staff. All staff members were extraordinarily friendly the appointment time was kept promptly, and the examination was efficient from beginning to end. The doctor provided recommendations on where to get my contact lens prescription filled at best value. Overall a good experience.

    Long, Dr. Todd J
Multiple technicians did all parts of the exam. My eyes were dilated without any warning. I saw Dr. Long for about 5 min. The main billing person left for the day and someone else, who admittedly was not an expert, changed the billing so it would not go to my medical insurance. No one ever introduced themselves and the technicians did not have professional appearances. At one point, I asked a technician if Dr. Long was an Opthamologist, a M.D., and she wasn't sure. Needless to say, I will not be going back nor will I suggest this business to any of my friends.

Each time I go I get into an examination room on time. I receive a complete eye exam and the staff is very pleasant and know their job. Dr O. is always pleasant and friendly. She is very professional and has always answered my questions completely and honestly.
