    Nelson kept in touch from the time we scheduled the job until the day he showed up--a few minutes early! He and Asa are pros. They knew exactly what needed to be done and had all of the right tools to do it. I had contracted for 2 hours but the jobs ended up taking over 4 and they stayed to get them all done. I would definitely call them again and would recommend them to anyone. It's nice to know that I have someone trustworthy that I can call when I need these nagging things done and I can't do them myself.

    The gentleman in the showroom was very good about taking time to explain the different options to me, and gave me samples to bring home to look at colors and things like that. The gentleman that showed up to measure was right on time and very professional. We have 2 windows in the kitchen and the second one was interfering with the cabinet door so he actually said not to put a blind there because it will be a problem. They love money but I am happier. I was impressed with that. He did not just go ahead and say they will just put it up, but made the recommendation that they will not pursue that one. We only put one blinds out. The guy who came in for the install was done in 10 minutes. It was a good experience.

    She done such a great job for living room/dinning room/master bedroom. Based on my frunitures style and color that her excellent experience and professional interior designing made my room so elegant and bright. Thank you, Doris. Good communication and always listened customer needs, great job for effective installation. 100% get Doris back if I need other window treatments later on.

    Update - I had issues with what was promised during my consultation and what was delivered and installed.  I contacted the company after receiving an email requesting feedback.  I was immediately contacted by several managers and higher ups trying to resolve and correct the problem.  We initially had a bit of phone tag before connecting.  Next Day Blinds listened to what my problems and issues were with the blinds and offered to rectify the situation, even replacing the style of blinds with no extra cost.  My concerns about the safety of a certain type of blind in my children's room was offered to be replaced without any problem.  The blind that overlapped onto my back door handle will be remeasured and a new type of blind or style suggested.  

    Overall, Next Day Blinds has been excellent in trying to correct the situation regarding my experience and my order.  I will update again when everything is replaced and installed. Very happy with their prompt customer service.

    2nd Update - Shutters have been installed and really really make a difference with the look of the room.  The vinyl shutter casings are a perfect fit.  Replacement blinds for the children's rooms and the master bedroom were switched out and their safety is to my satisfaction. The blind that was too big for my deck backdoor was switched out with a honeycomb blind that fits behind the door handle and we have no further issues with it. 

    Overall, everything was corrected and in very quick order.  The response to my original dissatisfaction with the initial installation of the blinds I first received has been rectified.  Next Day Blinds was quick to provide me, the customer, with satisfaction and apologized for the wrong promises of the salesperson who came to my house.  They were quick to work with me over the phone and make suggestions to solve everything. Overall, please with the final results.  I would use them again, knowing now what to expect with the salesperson.

    This was a several step process, not literally "next day", but the service was terrific.  I booked an appointment on line and the representative was professional and helpful.   She was very good at guiding me in my selection, giving options and advice, without being the least bit pushy.   A separate appoinment was needed to measure some of the windows, which are very high up.  Again, the representative was prompt, professional, and worked quickly.  Finally, installation was on time and and went very smoothly.  Very  pleasant installer and the blinds are PERFECT and fit the windows precisely.  Really, I wish every experience I had purchasing items for my home went this beautifully!

    This is the third time I've used Old South Plantation Shutters (with this being the largest job--the other two were much smaller). Jeff DeMuro (owner) is a really nice guy and great to work with! He is very responsive, gives pricing on the spot, delivers on time, and does all the installation. Once again, this installation went off without a hitch and the shutters look just beautiful! I have recommended him to many friends and willdefinitely do so again in the future!

    I have ordered from Smith & Noble multiple times over the last 10 years and have never encountered anything but the best service and product. I find the less than outstanding ratings puzzling.

    With this particular order, I called the 800 number and requested the measure service. I was contacted within the 48 hour window that was promised and had an installer out to take the measurements. After that Smith & Noble notified me via email that they had the installer's data and were ready to take my order. Since I had already discussed material and color with several of their customer service agents the order process took about 10 minutes.

    The blinds arrived about a week earlier that promised. I contacted S & N to set up an install date which was arranged within 48 hours.
    The installer arrived on time, installed blinds and removed all packing material.
    Smooth process, and the blinds look great.

    IF YOU DO NOT KEEP GOOD RECORDS AT HOME OF WHAT YOU PAID AND WHAT IS ACTUALLY DUE, THEN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  The salesman in the store (Ken) was attentive and took my order.  I returned the following day to order additional window treatments and set up a date for someone to come take measurements, and then again a couple of days later to add more window treatments to my order .  The person doing the measurements was professional and fast, as were the installers.  My issue comes with their billing procedures.  I paid approximately 50% upfront and the final balance was due after installation.  When I received my final bill they did not properly credit my account for the three payments I had made prior to installation. I phoned and spoke with Accounts Receivable.  After some searching the employee told me that Next Day Blinds failed to credit one of my earlier payments to my account and said that he would correct this immediately.  I also asked about the price discount I was due that was incorrect.  I was told to call the store and speak with them directly as the A/R dept could not help me with this.  I phoned the store where I placed my purchase and was informed of the amount that I was due a price discount credit for.  The store employee told me he would contact A/R.  I next received a PAST DUE bill from Next Day Blinds that still didn't properly credit my account for the price discount.  I phoned A/R and was told that they did give me an additional credit.  However I have yet to receive a corrected invoice.  I asked the person in A/R to email me a corrected invoice which he did immediately.    There is no excuse for a company of this size to be so inept with their billing procedures.  I would not use them again just because they are so careless with their billing procedures.  The only reason I knew I was not properly credited with my price discount is because I keep impeccable records and checked them against my final invoice.

    I found Amy Smith of Custom Decorators through Costco. Custom Decorators is Costco's authorized vendor of Hunter Douglas window treatments and Amy is one of their local representatives. Amy was very easy to deal with. She brought samples to my home and provided great design advice. The price was unbeatable, especially with the special that Costco was running at the time of my order. Once the order was placed, the staff at the Custom Decorators central office communicated with me regularly about the status of my order. Overall the installation went great, the installer was prompt, polite, and left everything very clean. There were a couple of small glitches with missing parts, but they were resolved quickly and professionally. Overall I am very happy with the products and service.
