My master bath shower leaked and ruined the subfloor. Ryan gave me a great quote on both repairing the damage and doing some additional light remodeling upgrades in the bathroom. Once the work started, I was completely impressed by the quality and professionalism of his workers (Remi is AWESOME!) and by Ryan responsiveness and flexibility. I loved these guys and would definitely hire them again. Removed: Master bath subfloor, shower pan, tile flooring, tile on walls, shower fixtures, sink fixtures, and old vanity top on sinks. Replaced with new subfloor, custom shower (no plastic shower pan), tile on shower walls, recessed niche, shower door, shower seat, shower fixtures, sink fixtures, and sink vanity top. Repainted everything and cleaned up 100% of their work.

Ileona and Jose and their team were incredible. This could not have gone any better. Everyone was professional, personable and punctual. We were displaced for a week to give the team time and upon return the floors looked brand new. They paid a lot of time to the small details just to make the job perfect. They kept us updated with photos while the work was being done. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

    Irish Accents & Renovations
Val and his crew has renewed my faith in VB contractors! I have gotten totally screwed two consecutive times in the past 2 years and was reluctant to try a third time but I mean I had to lol soo... A big rain storm came thru and ate away at some of the brickwork at my rental property and we thought it was going to be something small, a quick fix. Much to our surprise when the dry wall came off it was covered in mold and the wall framework so super soft and spongy, apparently I bought a house that the previous ppl just covered up crap. #badnewsbears. The original estimate was appropriately adjusted and was honestly less than I was expecting. I live in DC and work so cant just drop and go so we agreed on an initial face to face to deliver the deposit check and work started soon after. Even with the additional work required he finished almost within the original time frame and I was impressed. He was SUPER communicative, which is what bit me with the previous ppl, so this is a HUGE plus for me, being out of the area and all. He sent photos every step of the way and daily updates via text and email. My tenant was super impressed to she was V E R Y reluctant to let someone unsupervised in the house, and rightfully so, but towards the end she would just leave work or have someone let him in and he would lock up behind him. Her overall approval just added to mine and I plan on using him for EVERYTHING I have planned. I am sooooo glad I found him!!! An added plus his Irish accent just makes bad news sound so much better lol but all joking aside; if you are looking for a trustworthy, communicative, fairly priced, and overall awesome contractor then look no further!!!

all services were provided as contracted. They started on time, finished on time, had a crew of guys who descended on the job and worked diligently. It was done to our satisfaction the first time. The price was a little on the high side probably, but my wife and I felt that we wanted to ensure the work was done correctly and thoroughly.

First rate job. Rick was right on time, explained what he was doing and why. His crew, Derick, JJ, and Sasha did great job of getting the damaged parts of the house opened up and dried out. they had to move a large number of things in the house and probably took better care of them than I would have done! You don't want the need for a company like this, but when you you have the need, this is the one that you want!

Great. The guys were just great. They worked hard to remove mold from my basement. I had a leak in the siding that put a lot of water into 2 corners of the basement onto the rim joists. The process was vacuuming the mold to get the loose stuff, cleaning the AC, wiping down the mold with Benefect, then sanding all wooden surfaces and 2x8 joists, running HEPA units, air scrubbing, etc. After remdiation but before the final sealing coat, I waited a week, and had the air tested by an independent firm. The results were great, the mold went from 6,000 penicillium / aspergillis spores per cubic meter down to 30 spores per cubic meter. Now they are coming back to "seal" the wood surfaces. I was very happy with them, and their price was very fair.

Amazing. My faith in honest hardworking customer focused contractors is restored. And since it took me 5 years to get someone to do the finishing of the wall above the fireplace due to issues with contractors that had one or more negative qualities (inflated estimates, upselling, poor knowledge, unresponsive, communication challeges...) that is saying quite a bit. There was a small speed bump getting started when I did not receive an estimate from the company after I met with a co-owner at my home so I had to contact them multiple times to get the quote, but they more than made up for that hiccup with the customer service, quality and price.

The carpenter, Stan, was punctual each day and even pre-shifted so I could meet him before I had to go to work at 0800. Greg, the electrician, was in and out so quickly I was lucky to catch him when I came home for lunch on the first day of the project. Both were very professional and highly skilled at their jobs. Stan suggested many options for me and let me lead the solution so I felt I was getting exactly what I wanted. I got that and more.

Maria Estes was the project coordinator and worked with me to outline the tasks and cost estimates before the project was started. I was a little nervous at signing a contract with a $ value on it prior starting when a couple of the items were somewhat open ended, but she assured me the details could be adjusted in the end if needed - and they were. Not only did I not have to pay the final payment at completion, the company sent me money back! Unheard of I must say. Maria suggested changing to a time and materials contract structure to lower the price of the original contract and it saved me money. In the end, I got the contracted work completed to excellent quality plus benefits of a few added projects and ended up paying less than originally estimated.

I highly recommend Moss (Justin, Maria, Stan and Greg) for any project and will certainly use them in the spring for some additional projects to enhance my home. If there was an A+ rating here I would give it to Moss.

    Jenkins Restorations

Jenkins was assigned water mitigation services for my property through Code Blue. I had a roof leak that resulted in ceiling stains and mold, as well as window/wall leaks on the top and second floor of my home. The initial contact with Jenkins was impressive, and they sent a mitigation specialist (Yahir) to my home arriving right on time. Unfortunately, he wanted to cut open my ceiling before protecting the leaking roof. I advised I wanted the roof tarped before my ceiling was 'opened' for drying. He had to step out and call his supervisor since he was not prepared for a 'roof leak'. Ten minutes later he came in and told me he had spoken to his supervisor and they would get someone out to tarp the roof. Then he could come back to open the ceiling and begin the drying process. Great. After Yahir left, I felt I was in 'good hands' and called the Jenkins Restoration to set up an appointment for an estimate of repairs - presumably to follow the mitigation work. I did not hear from Yahir again. More than 36 hours and several storms later, I still did not have a tarp on my roof. I called Jenkins (Colin this time), they told me they did not have the order for work from my insurance company - I gave them the claim ID and told them they must have it since they had sent someone out the day before. They told me to call my insurance company to work it. So I did. And I called Code Blue. Jenkins (Andrew) finally called back close to midnight that night and apologized since he found the records, but told me that Yahir mentioned to me that I was to arrange for the tarp. Bold faced lie. They told me 3 stories that night trying to explain why nothing had been done, then told me they would get someone out ASAP to tarp my roof. I never heard from the mitigation team again. The restoration estimator did show up as scheduled, right on time, July 6 (over a week later) and I asked if he was prepared to do mitigation first. I knew the answer would be no, but they wasted my time so I wanted make a point. He said he would make a call to try to get it worked, but I politely asked him to leave and mentioned I would be going to use another company.

I finally moved on to another contractor, Exterior Medics, and they had a tarp installed the same day I called. Customer service was night and day. I will never use Jenkins Restoration or recommend them to anyone.

Brennan's team was very professional.  They completed the work in near zero degree weather.  Water damage was found and repaired in a timely and complete fashion.  I would recommend them and use them again for other efforts.

    Servpro of Fair Oaks-Centreville-Chantilly
They are one of the most professional companies that has ever done business in my home. I had several estimates and I was not comfortable with any of the other companies. They other companies could not answer my questions and seemed more interested in scaring me and then giving me a big price tag to do the clean up. Servpro of Fair Oaks-Centreville-Chantilly sent in Nick Riddle who took his time to explain what they were going to do and by the end of the day had sent me an estimate that was extremely fair. The team that came in to do the work were professional and efficient and left the area clean and mold free. Even the people in the office when I called about the bill, were extremely helpful and friendly. They are an A+ organization from the first contact to the last. Can't say enough good stuff about them!
