  • Before I get to the negative part, I want to say that it's a nice office, with nice people, the Dr was VERY NICE, so from a people perspective were satisfied.
    However, we did NOT have any tests done, they let us in 40 MINUTES LATE, they made us sign a payment agreement before seeing the Dr (would not let us see him unless we agreed to pay the cost of the visit today), we spent all of 15 minutes with the Dr, he gave us a piece of paper that said and quot;most of the time we cannot determine what caused hivesand quot;, then sent us on our way with a $295 bill.
    Yes, two hundred ninety five dollars. For 15 minutes of conversation and a piece of paper. I called back and spoke with a nice lady who explained something about and quot;going rates for specialistsand quot; and and quot;set appt chargesand quot; - all well and good but still, $295 for 15 minutes and a piece of paper. That's an annual billing amount of almost $2.5 MILLION dollars. $295 for NOTHING.
    I only hope I get reimbursed by my medical plan for this

  • Consultation followed an allergic reaction episode of unknown origin. Dr. Rosenthal was very thorough and took time to get to the bottom of the origin of the allergic reaction. Gave appropriate advice and instructions. Very personable individual.
  • I've been visiting Dr. Kim for four years now, and he's been effective at treating my allergies. He is knowledgeable of the medications available, polite and friendly, and explains what is going on. He keeps electronic files, making it easy to compare current tests to past ones. This past allergy season was the worst I've seen, but the only additional effects I experienced was itchier eyes than usual. Dr. Kim suggested an OTC allergy eye drop to use for the next season to prevent this. The staff is friendly and efficient as well.

    My one complaint is that I forgot to have the staff fax my prescriptions to my mail order pharmacy when I was in the office, and when I called them to ask them to fax the prescriptions, the person I talked to said they don't fax to mail order pharmacies. So, I had to mail my paper prescription, which adds at least three days to its processing. I gave the administration a C for this.
