first appointment no show, second appointment wrong product used, re-do scheduled. 1st appointment no show, second appointment, no show, 3rd appointment no show. Installation woes started in beginning November, done in late December after numerous emails and phone calls. Appointments with installers never materialized and the numerous emails and phone calls from CEO were a waste of time. We have two pending issues - a "substantial discount" offered by CEO and a ladder that I've requested be pickup and still resides in my home.

    Phoenix Home Services Inc
Very satisfied with the work and the workers. Clint is the owner and Brian is the job forman. Both are very good at there job. Clint worked with us until he could provide the new deck within our budget. Workers picked up after themselves each day so that our dogs and the babies would not get hurt during construction. Very satisfied with the work and Phoenix Home Service.

    Home Energy Medics
VERY clean, always an issue for me with having work done but these guys cleaned up as if they were never there! We had Bradley come out and do our home energy audit. He was professional, knowledgeable, and the data and images he was able to share at the end were truly informative. Although they send you recommendations and a quote on correcting the various issues they find, you do not have to use their team to do the work. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Their price point is a bit above the average quote but the their work is FAR above average. Scott was our project lead and he met with me before work started just to make sure I knew what to expect and to ask what he could do for us to help ensure we were satisfied. They took before and after photos of everything to show us it was done as promised and done well, they even retest for free to show the improvement in the home. This is Holmes on homes quality. I spent 5 years in the construction industry which may not be much but I know enough to really appreciate their work. I also happen to be 9 months pregnant right now and not very easy to please but these guys were professional and immaculate. They were able to get the project started early and finished in the time projected. I attached a couple of photos of how thoroughly they protected things

    Northern Virginia Insulators
Brad and his team do absolutely amazing work. Northern Virginia Insulators went above and beyond, working late for two nights to finish the job early, in time for a party we were having that weekend. The work was done beautifully. Brad is a perfectionist and is all about customer service. My dad is a former county home inspector and he was very impressed with the work. The kicker? I got three quotes for the job and Brad beat the second best quote by almost $2000.

    Comfenergy, LLC
Lets just say our problem is gone. We had our attic floor air sealed and added cellulose insulation to get it to a R49. We also decided to add a radiant barrier to deflect as much heat as possible. The results exceeded our expectations. The installation crew was great! They showed up on time and knew what they were doing. We would definitely recommend Comfenergy to anyone who needs help.

    Discount Energy Services
They showed up late for the estimate, but their price was so competitive we proceeded with the job. The team performing the work was great. Showed up right on time and clearly explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Kept me posted throughout and even honored my request to take an "after" picture since this was a home inspection report discrepancy. They were extremely clean and conscientious. I have pets so I asked them to ensure the front storm door closed firmly behind them and they were great about it.

    Northern Virginia Insulators
My wife and I could not be happier with our experience with Northern Virginia Insulators. Our house is old and our attic had accumulated several layers of poor insulation through the years and previous owners-batt, cellulose and loose fill fiberglass. We also had a bunch of trash stored in the attic. We got three estimates on the work we needed. All three contractors agreed on what needed to be done: We needed to strip everything out of the attic, seal the attic, seal and re-insulate the ducts and put all new insulation in, to a an R-49 depth. Brad (the owner) from Northern Virginia Insulators gave us an estimate that included removal of trash and batt insulation from the attic. He beat the second best estimate by over two thousand dollars. However, he went even further to work with us to save us money by allowing us to complete some of the removal work ourselves. He even agreed to take all of the trash and batt we removed, to the dump when he dumped the loose fill he removed. He did this free of charge. When we removed the duct insulation and found major damage to the ductwork, Brad found someone to repair the ductwork and didn't even charge us extra for the creep in job scope, even though there was no way he could have known about the full state of the ducts when he did the original estimate. The additional work pushed our timeframe out by an extra day. When I told Brad I had hoped to have the work done in time for a big gathering we were having that weekend, he and his team worked into the night on the final night, finishing the job the day he originally projected. The entire NoVa Insulators team worked like mad to meet our deadline. I truly can't recommend them enough.

    Adelphia Exteriors
There was no problem with it. It went well. The pricing was as advertised. It was a little deceiving. They admitted that it was a little hard to understand. I would recommend them. The workers were okay, there was no problem.

    ServicePro Express Inc
Both the management team and workers were very courteous, respectful and professional. They knew their jobs and they did them well. They took great care to protect our home and its contents. They showed up for work when they were scheduled, and they worked at a rapid pace. All work efforts were well coordinated and well executed and done at a reasonable price. We are happy to recommend this team for other similar efforts.

    Ameritech Construction Co
TIMELINE:  My roof was 22 years old so I was on borrowed time when I spoke with Ameritech.  I didn't have any roofing issues at the time.   I spoke with Alisa on 1/22 on the phone and she answered all on my questions.  I made an appointment schedule for 1/25 for estimate on attic insulation and a new roof.   HOA forms were submitted on 2/2/16 for approval.  HOA approval was received on 2/9/16 (crazy fast), and new roof was installed on 2/19.  It's like it was meant to be!!!

I will start my experience off with a story because it shows an issue, shifting focus on Ameritech's side to take care of the customer and making sure the customer was satisfied along the way.

Our initial meeting started off poorly.  Timmy, an employee of Ameritech of 16 years, went up the attic ladder first and saw boards so when he took his 1st step in the attic he was expecting a board to be there.  To his surprise, there was not a board there and he left a hole in the ceiling.   Timmy was embarrassed and apologized profusely.  I understood it was an accident and told him that this was their challenge to earn my business.  Their challenge was to patch the ceiling the same would show their ability to take care of emergencies, take care of the customer and to make a bad situation right and the customer happy.  I wanted a quick fix so I didn't have a huge hole in my ceiling having warm air escape through my ceiling during winter.  Timmy called in favors to Levon and the 10am hole was fixed by 2pm. Levon schedule a follow-up timeframe for another coat of joint compound when he finished.   Timmy did a follow-up phone to me later the same day to ensure Levon had arrived and scheduled a follow-up appointment and to make sure it was to my satisfaction.   Levon had made 2 additional follow-up appointments and painted the patched area on his last visit.  The ceiling misstep was a minor inconvenience but the professional attitude was extraordinary which I really appreciated!

OVERALL:  The new roof took place on 2/19/16.   It looks great!   A couple of days later we had rain and I inspected the roof and no issues have been found.    Completely satisfied with this company and will use them again.   I didn't know anyone who was looking for a new roof at the time of my appointment but there have been many friends who I have recommended to them since.
