    The move itself went very well. The movers were very careful, punctual, and professional. Making the appointment, getting an estimate, and dealing with the customer service staff was good as well. But the true test of a good company vs a great company is how they handle the things that go wrong, that is where NOVA Express Movers really came through! There was an oversight on my first move. I should have been given a discount for paying in cash that I did not receive. I know this was an honest mistake by the crew manager. When I contacted the office, the very professional staff agreed to refund my over payment. They also broke the wooden music holder on my upright piano. The crew was very careful, it was just a difficult piece to move. To their credit they told me about it right away. I contacted customer service to seek a repair. Ultimately I ended up taking it to a professional furniture repair shop. They said to let them know the cost and they would send me a check to cover the repair. I did this, the cost was $170, I sent them a copy of the receipt. The manager very happily sent me a check to reimburse me. I'm really pleased with how well the move went, and how professional and pleasant the staff was to work with. I felt they really wanted me to be happy with their service, and I am! I would definitely use them again.

    Piano Expectations
    She did an amazing job the piano is very old and had not been tuned for some time. She really took her time and care and even our piano teacher was amazed at the sound difference. She was on time, the price was excellent and the quality and care of the work was superb. I was so impressed I scheduled our next appointment.

    It was ok.  They were a little bit pushy.  They didn't answer all my questions at first.  It took me about 2 or 3 times before I went back and was able to make a decision without feeling pressured, and they just wanted to make a sale basically.  We did have some problems with delivery, it got delayed like a week and a half.  It wasn't communicated very well. So I went like 2 weeks without a stove and a oven, which was really difficult.

    I can't recommend Nova Express Movers highly enough, and would suggest their good pricing on a flat rate move.  There was absolutely nothing stressful or surprising about my experience - Everything was better than expected, fair, clean, easy.  Their service is impeccable, and they even called me after to ensure I was satisfied.

    I cannot thank EVERYONE at A Quality Finish enough for one of the most positive and rewarding experiences I ever had in dealing with a company. From start to finish their team provided amazing customer service in EVERY aspect. Each person I dealt with, starting with the first phone call, we're so helpful--but more importantly, kind! What a joy it is to see all my furniture restored so beautifully. I actually got emotional when Scott and Mike brought in my great great grandmother's bookshelf. It's over 100 years old and NOW looks exquisite!!!

    I visited Belfort on several occasions when looking at sofas.  The sales associate I worked with was very nice and professional. Unfortunately, Belfort?s prices are simply too high and their managers refuse to negotiate at all. The managers I spoke to claim they keep their prices low to start so they say there is no room to negotiate. That is garbage, it is common knowledge that the furniture industry has very high markups and margins. All Belfort would offer was 3% off if you pay cash, while some other retailers in the area offer 5% for cash. So, unless you can find a floor model they are looking to get rid of, don?t look for these people to give up those huge margins they rake in. Additionally, I had been looking at some models of the Natuzzi brand.  I found out that Natuzzi restricts which retailers can sell certain models within a certain radius to artificially inflate prices and not allow true competition to occur since you can?t compare apples to apples on price between retailers within a certain area. So, Belfort wouldn?t budge on price and they know that no other retailer in the area can order the model. Instead of giving in to Belfort I took a vacation outside of the radius and found a great furniture store that carried the same model I was looking for and paid far less than Belfort?s quoted price. I live within 15 minutes of Belfort, but they?ll never get a dime of my money. Don?t feed the greed.

    Contacted Furniture Medic via email including pictures of the damage to the painted finish cabinet top.  An appointment was made in short order.  Eric was a little delayed arriving on time that day, but contacted me TWICE at each half hour to report his status - so I was not left hanging or waiting without knowledge of his whereabouts.  When Eric arrived he quickly ascertained the status of the damage and his course of repair action and quickly got to work.  He did a really great job of making the repair which included painting and distressing the damaged area to match the distressed finish of the piece.  Prior to the work being done, I had serious reservations about how anyone would go about making an acceptable repair due to the type of finish on the cabinet and the complexity of working with a painted and distressed finish.  Well, I will tell you I was VERY pleased with the result and will not hesitate to call Furniture Medic again should I ever need any repair work done to my furniture or cabinetry.  Furniture Medic by Karen was yet another great find on Angie's List!

    They did an excellent job!!.  This was a set given to my mother in the late 40's and has been in constant use since.  They stripped the traditional maple finish and used a fabulous brown stain that really highlighted the wood grain.  They had to repair a number of pieces and all look fantastic.
    We will use them again for several other family pieces that are showing their age.

    Installers were professional and did a great job. A screw scratched the top of the dishwasher door during installation. Though it is only visible if the door is actually open, the installer proactively pointed it out and said they would be replacing the control panel where the scratch was once the part could be ordered.

    They reassembled and sanded all surface areas until the water damage was removed, then finish sanded, reassembled and refinished the table.  I was hoping for a servicable table, instead I picked up an amazingly beautiful ... mostly better than new table.  I couldn't have been more impressed with their work.  Really remarkable!  The before and after pictures would blow you away.
