This was a totally excellent experience. Adam was the ultimate professional in all regards. His service was excellent and done at a fair price. I would definitely use his service again and will surely recommend him to anyone else I know that needs the same type of service. He is a A+ provider in my opinion.

My radiation oncologist suggested I find a personal trainer to help me get through radiation treatment without becoming weaker and weaker as a result.  I found John Fayocavitz through the internet.  What was most important to me was that the reviews I found were written by people who had sought a personal trainer for rehabilitation or complex physical problems and had found the help they were looking for from John.  When I met with John he was understanding and not at all perplexed by the fact that I have scoliosis, an artificial knee, was in the middle of radiation treatment, and have arthritis.  I walked with a cane and was clearly very weak.
John seems to know exactly what muscle he wants to work, and exactly how hard he wants that muscle to work.  In spite of the multiple difficulties, he began working with me with a supportive enthusiasm that I truly appreciated.  I began to feel better very quickly.  Not terrific, but clearly better.  I saw that I could trust John to be in charge of the structure of rehabilitation training I was going to need.  But the best laid plans can go awry.  The radiation treatment caused such serious fatigue and aches and pains that I could not keep up with appointments.  John not only was supportive and understanding, he just held off until I was ready to begin again and gave me the unused appointments I was not able to keep before.  That is truly remarkable and a seriously fine way to run a business.
Now that I can go regularly again, I am regaining strength and look forward to the benefits of exercise that is guided by a professional who so clearly understands the needs of people who are not training to run a marathon but need help with mobility and the various challenges of aging and physical problems.
I can't recommend John enough.  It is a financial commitment but the benefits are more than worth it.

I canceled my membership about 6 months ago. The reason I canceled it is because their business practice seems like they are trying to lock you in and it seems like you are on this payment plan that you can't change or get out of. No matter what you do they are trying to sell you this membership, versus trying to sell you the benefits of the club -- being healthy or working out. It is like a car dealership versus a fitness club. Most of my friends have switched. The membership fee was for access to basic amenities. The best part about it is the sheer size of it and the accessibility. The worst thing is the amount of people that are there and the mentality of the staff trying to sell you something. I think the whole sales mentality is too strong.

I originally began with a 24-class plan in March 2013 taught by Brian Stevens. With twice weekly classes, I found that less than halfway through the program my back pain was gone. I've belonged to gyms over the years for long periods of time, but it was always a chore to go. Kettlebell is different - it's actually fun, incredibly rewarding, and incredibly effective. As I write this review, I have continuously attended for 16 months. I'm now committed to making kettlebell classes a permanent part of my life, and my two grown daughters are also taking classes.
Brian Wright (owner) and Brian Stevens (my instructor) are extremely knowledgeable about safe, effective exercise and how the body works.
It's been interesting and inspiring watching my classmates grow stronger, lose weight (when desired), and add muscle. I recommend BW Personal Training to anyone, no matter what your age, s**, fitness goals, or physical limitations are.

Overall Lifetime fitness is a great gym. I mostly attend the Centreville location but also visit the fairfax location. The gym has everything I am looking for with new additions of their and quot;Alphaand quot; equipment it really brings in the missing pieces that did not exist prior. The price is a little heavy, but because the gym offers so much you are paying for things you do not use, IE: pool, child care, basketball courts, etc. I have been a member for 7+ years and between convenience and overall services, I am very happy with the gym.

My interaction with the and quot;welcome deskand quot; staff each time I went there definitely was not ideal. They did not have towels 3 out of the 4 times I showed up, nor did they seem interested in the fact that I had entered their gym. The workout area was smaller than I was used to, but for the amount of people there was plenty of space. They had all of the basics, however with only 1 platform to do olympic lifts or deadlifts, this often had a line. The price point was very low compared to what I was used to spending so that was nice, however overall I decided not to change gyms since the availability of equipment.

The individual who helped me was friendly, informative, helpful, and funny. It was an enjoyable experience. He made it easy to arrange the purchase, delivery, and set-up. The store has an incredible selection and the equipment is all high range. If you are looking for quality, this is the place to go.

It was spacious, it was well staffed, it was very friendly and courteous. Their pool facilities were very good, very clean and they are very kid friendly and an excellent kids' club. They have kids' classes and things like that. It is a little pricey and higher in winter. The communication was okay when it came to things like, there was a weakness in communication when there was going to be a closing so we scheduled some things and we many times wouldn't find out until we actually went. That was the only time when the communication is not as good as it should be. The people that worked at all the desks and help desks were good and if there were any admin situations they were very helpful and responsive.

    • The pool facility is great.  They have a nice lap pool with several lanes and they have a great fun pool with a lazy river, sprayers and a few slides.
The work out facility could use some help.  It is big and looks nice, but the cardio equipment is a little out of date and worn down. other equipment is OK, but needs updating.  There are plenty of TV's with audio channels to tune in to.
My biggest complaint about this center is that there needs to be music in the work out room!!!  It would make for a better workout environment.

Life Time Fitness Centreville is a good organization but they're just expensive. They are well maintained, it was always clean, and they cater to a more upscale clientele. They are open 24/7 and comes with tons of equipment. It's nice to go in the middle of the night if you wanted to. The downside is that they remodel all the time and would shut down the gym for a week. They would replace perfectly good tile which drives up the cost. After they have open houses to drive up memberships it would get really crowded.
