    Centreville Dental Wellness Center
Dr. Abel has been my dentist for approximately two years, and Erica has been my dental hygienist. Erica does an excellent, thorough exam and cleaning, and Dr. Abel is very thorough and explains himself well. So far I haven't had to have anything done other than periodic x-rays and the six-month checkups. Front desk/reception staff is friendly and efficient.

    Patel, Dr. Jayesh S.
II saw Dr. Patel for a lower back molar (tooth #19) that had already had a previous root canal, but my previous dentist did not complete the root canal successfully due to an obstruction of the root canal. The tooth had a large cyst on the root tip that was causing me pain. The cyst was so large that I could push on it from the outside of my cheek and feel it squish like a water balloon. Dr. Patel was quick and efficient. It took about 30 minutes to get me numb. Dr. Patel knew exactly where to place the injections so that I didn't feel any pain. Dr. Patel's equipment is state-of-the-art for root canal procedures. He had the equipment necessary to drill through the obstruction in the root canal, which allowed him to treat the cyst on the bottom of the root. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Patel. I highly recommend him!

    Vladimir Soyfer DDS,DMD,PHD,JD
I was Dr. Soyfer's patient for the past 3 years, (May, 2013-December, 2015). I saw Dr. Soyfer mostly for root canals as I have Polycystic Kidney Disease and it leaves cysts in other places in my body, so most of my teeth have cysts on the roots. During the root canal procedure, Dr. Soyfer failed to perform standard of care in not using a dental dam to protect against the endofile going down my throat. During the procedure, Dr. Soyfer dropped the endofile down my throat and I had to go to the local ER to have it retrieved via endoscope. Since Dr. Soyfer had never used a dental dam on me in the past, I didn't think he had done anything wrong. Once I learned that using a dental dam during an endodontic procedure was standard, I was outraged. Once I got a hold of my dental records, I discovered there were a total of six times that Dr. Soyfer practiced on me without using a dental dam. In addition, Dr. Soyfer falsified my medical records to say that he had used a dental dam when he actually hadn't. Dr. Soyfer tried to prevent me from filing a report with the Virginia Board of Health Professions by psychologically terrorizing me to keep me quiet. Look up his dental license on the Virginia Department of Health Professions before you go see him to see which dental laws he has violated. I have filed 8 complaints with the Virginia Board of Dentistry and 2 complaints with the Department of Health and Human Services for HIPAA privacy violations. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO SEE DR. SOYFER! I have attached the link to his dental license for your convenience.

    Nelson Dental Practice
Wonderful (and believe me, I never thought I'd say that of a dentist)!  Dr. Nelson and his staff are the greatest.  My only regret is that I didn't find Dr. Nelson and his practice years ago.  In fact, I truly believe that if he'd been my dentist when I was a child my dental history would be much better than it is.  I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nelson and his practice (and I say this as a long-time "dentalphobe" - who's now cured).

    Nik Family & Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Nik is a great dentist as well as his hygienists. His office is state of the art. I searched for a dentist with a Cerec Machine and found Dr. Nik. It's a high tech machine that can make crowns in house in 2 hours! No more waiting 2 weeks for a crown:)

I was really impressed with the staff, the dental hygienist (Lisa), and the dentist (Dr. Mooney). I've had bad experiences with hygienists before, being very judgmental and pushing you to buy expensive things. Lisa was really nice and professional. Any suggestions she had for my oral health were given politely and didn't feel judgmental. She also didn't try to sell me things. Definitely one of the best experiences of a dental cleaning I've had in a long time. Dr. Mooney was also nice, polite, and quick.

    Hoffman Dental Group

The dentist and his nurse worked together and the entire process was very professional.  The temporary and permanent crowns both fit perfectly.

I have been a patient at Hoffman dental for twenty plus years.  Other than the crown and a deep cleaning of my teeth due to receding gums, all of my visits have been for routine cleaning and x-rays.  I have mainly had two hygienists, one of whom has now retired,  I am very pleased with the lady that I am seeing now and have had only one or two through the years that I didn't care for.

Hoffman is a very large practice so there are several hygienists to try until you are satisfied.  Then make your next appointment as you check out and ask for the same person.

We like that he is local. They have great facilities and the techs are very good. They're non-judgemental. They do a thorough checkup. Price is the only thing they're a little tough on. I typically wait 5-10 minutes (max) to be seen when I arrive.

The hygienist is fine. They have a friendly staff. Everybody is great. They always call me every time to remind me. I canceled at the last minute and he's been cool about that. I only make two appointments a year. Usually when I'm done with my cleaning, they set me up for the next six months.

They take the time to explain what's going on and during the cleaning, they take time to help you understand what you should be doing. You never have to wait more than 5 minutes and sometimes if you show up early, they will take you early. If you have any issue, they will work you in. The only drawback is the movies they show.
