AChoice Home WarrantyI was without air for 11 days after submitting a claim. I submitted a claim on July 2 got no response until July 8 and then had to wait until until July 13th for the install. It got as high as 94 degrees in my house with an average of 91. So hot.- Dolores P.

I finally decided to seek out a professional who we could work with consistently and the entire Stokley's team has been phenomenal and I love that this is a family owned business that is well-established in Hampton Roads. Michelle and Tim have been great about helping me schedule service, and every technician who has entered our home has been wonderful. We decided to purchase a new gas boiler (our old one was 37 years old) and Rob did a terrific job of locating a boiler that would fit in our tiny basement. The install was efficient, and Jerry--the head technician--made sure the job was done right. I am looking forward to working with Stokley's for years to come!- Jori B.

AStokley's Services IncI contacted Rob Short of Stokley's Services in June to get an estimate on a full replacement of my existing heat pump system (including ducting) and conversion to an AC/Gas Heat system. He came out and did a thorough walk-thru and provided me a very reasonable quote a couple days later. We discussed when to do the job and agreed that late fall would be the best weather and availability. I contacted him again in early October and received information I needed to get my gas meter installed. We decided on an install date and I put half down on the quote. On October 26th, Angelo, Dominique, and Marty (a.k.a. NightLight) arrived bright and early to begin demolition and system mapping. I was at work for most of the day while they were here, but I got updates each afternoon on what they got done that day and what they were planning to do the next day. Angelo was the team leader and has a firm grasp on the project status at all times. He kept the task on track and always has a smile handy. I took the opportunity to informally inspect much of the work as they progressed and was impressed with their level of skill and craftsmanship: Sheet-metal work, electrical connections, gas-line fabrication, air-duct construction and assembly. Everything was done logically, and professionally. I also asked, being that my house did not have gas lines installed yet, that they install the pipe in a path that will make future gas connections for water, dryer, oven, and generator easy to do. They installed capped tee connections in the gas line along the way for my future convenience. The gas line is currently being pressure tested and will maintain air pressure for a few days until the gas company certifies it. That's peace of mind. We tested the airflow in the duct system and every vent had a nearly identical flow rate. You don't get that kind of precision by accident. When the job was done Angelo made sure that nothing was left behind, the work area was cleaner than when they started, and I had appropriate instructions for the pending gas company certification. I am 100% satisfied with the quality and value of my new high efficiency heating and cooling system. I would (and have in the past) recommend Stokley's to anyone...anytime.- David C.

Within 2 hrs of our initial call, we were texted a picture of our technician & his name along with an estimate of his arrival time. Our technician, Phil McIntosh, was very professional and thorough in explaining what was wrong & how he could repair it. Payment was quick & easy and a detailed invoice was emailed to us the same day for our records. My 86 year old mom was very thankful to have a cool house again on a 90 degree day & to have a fast turnaround time for repair handled by a professional & friendly technician. ALance and his team did an amazing job of helping us out with our HVAC issues. He was on time and very helpful in explaining our options and the cost of each. We opted to upgrade the entire unit of our upstairs. When the unit arrived from the factory, it had an issue. Lance quickly ordered a new one and had it installed in just a few days. Amazing service at a reasonable price. I can not recommend this company enough!

FThe estimate was a sham - it took two and a half hours - the expectation was, once you put in all of that time, how would you just walk away from a renovation that was more than double of any other estimate, Then, the car -dealer borrowed sham - call into manager to get a better deal - twice!!! And the price was still way over market. But - if you booked it right then, $10,000 less than next day; $20,000 less than 9 months hence. The contractor would not provide an estimate, until you walked through every decision the bathroom renovation would entail. This was disgusting. I think also a sham for seniors. I would not recommend.

AI have a 3 ton gas pack unit. My air condition part of the unit stopped working yesterday afternoon. I didn’t discover that until around 10 o’clock last night when the house started getting hot. Apparently the lawn mowing service that I have had pulled electrical cord away from the unit when mowing the grass and mangled up the the wires. The customer service representative was able to get someone out to my house today at noon. The technician whose name was Danny Jr. Was awesome he found the problem right away was able to fix it in a short period of time and I feel like he went beyond what any other tech would have done to resolve the problem to where it wouldn’t happen again. He was very professional. Courteous and a very nice guy. The price was very reasonable so I was very pleased with everything.
