  • I use them all the time. It's nice to have just one place you can go to and depend on. The work takes a few hours, i usually just take my car and leave it over night. They leave my vehicle clean and perfect.

  • Everything went great - as usual. I have been going to Travis for 6 years since we moved to the area. Very honest and fair; nothing negative to say. Honest, fair, professional, and skilled mechanics.

  • BLUF:  No quality assurance and poor work.  Which means to you...a lot of lost work, money, and begging someone for a ride.  If it's warranty work being done; take it here.  If you are coming out of pocket, call someone else.
I had to take it in 3 times to get it fixed the right way.  I expected to bring it in 2 times, however, this was not the case.  The first time, they claimed to fix it all, but I figured there was a freon leak and I would need to bring it back to get the specific part that was leaking.  During the first visit, they broke a piece of my dashboard.  Albeit, my truck is 10 years old, but the dash was covered with a mat from the day it was bought originally.  They charged me for it.  When I brought it in the second time, I told them the a/c was no longer cold and the heater was not warm (maybe in the 75 degree range on max).  I asked the service rep if it was all working and he said "I assure you it is all working".  I even went specifically, item by item, through the work I requested and he said it again.  I get home and the heat was in the same condition.  I called the guy back up and had to schedule another visit to get the heat fixed.  So the third time in there, my heater spontaneously works!  It was amazing!  I am being sarcastic here.  Since it worked the moment I brought it in, they waited for me to call 2 days later to check on the status.  I am not going to name drop, but the senior, most experienced technician worked on my truck from day 1.

  • He is always very reputable, reliable and fair-priced. The cost depends because we've had him do various things because we have an older Honda, but he's very good and he's honest. He's got a very good reputation in this area, Isle of Wight County. If something would happen to the car that we didn't know, he would tell us what it was, how much it would cost, and works with you. Sometimes he tells you wouldn't need things that other people say we might need. He's the most honest mechanic. If this 2012 Honda Accord pooped out or had an issue beyond warranty, I would certainly go to him. I've used him about 6 or 7 times besides my inspections and issues with my '96 Honda. He knows what he is doing, it gets fixed the first time, and you don't have to worry about it not getting fixed the way it was supposed to then take it back.

  • Travis had put a dye in our oil to see how much it was leaking. They told us that the leak could be fixed, but they felt it was not necessary since it was a minor leak and it woul dbe pretty expensive to repair. Wow! We are going to just add oil, but that was great to hear. They idenitfied the noise the car was making, wheel bearings. They fixed them and the car sounds and runs great.

  • I was greeted by Russ Webber when we first showed up on the lot. He was pleasant and not pushy. I described what I was looking for (I had seen a car on the Internet) and asked that he show me that and any other cars like it. As we looked at cars he asked questions that narrowed down the search. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and a definite bonus is that the dealership has the keys right on the cars, so there was no running back-n-forth for keys. Once I settled on a car, he threw out a price that was lower than I expected. They also bought my trade-in sight unseen. He knew how much I wanted to spend and he was under that price by 2 thousand. I thought that was great.
The only negative was that I waited several times (10-15 minutes) once we started negotiating. I am not sure if it was a sales and quot;tacticand quot; or they were that busy. There were several other people in the cubicles around me, so they could have been busy.
I would definitely recommend Russ and the dealership (beautiful facilities).

  • I am new to the area, so I was looking for a place to work on my car when needed. Everyone at Duke's was extremely nice and very professional. The work was done on time and the price was very reasonable.

  • I?ve been there twice. When we were new to the area, we were just looking for a dealer and we went back because it worked out. We ended up having an issue and we?ll have to take the car with an air conditioning problem back. The same problem came back but as long as they stand by their work, it should be okay. Our experience was good but they are quite expensive compared to other mechanics in the area; I found cheaper work elsewhere that was just as good.
