    Phoenix Home Services Inc
We're very satisfied and highly recommend Phoenix Home Services based on home renovations completed in August 2019. Clint met with us at the beginning of the project to provide plans and ensure everything was in order for county and HOA approval. From there, Steve provided outstanding project management and customer support while Dan and his crew provided exceptional workmanship. We highly recommend Phoenix Home Services and will use them again for any future home renovations.

    Rodas Painting & Services
Phenomenal work! I've used Rodas Services three times already and LOVE them. He power washed my deck twice now and it looked brand new each time--that's never happened with other power washers. I also hired him to power wash my siding and I actually saw him up on my roof power washing the brick on my fire place exhaust--amazing. He's also done painting for me and it was done with great attention to detail. The prices are SO reasonable and the quality of work is in a league of its own. I HIGHLY recommend.

    SGS Builders Inc.
We have had now two projects completed by SGS Builders, and the work completed by Steve Sanders, Enrique, and crew was nothing less than outstanding. Several years ago we hired Steve to remove a load bearing wall to create a large open family room. Steve completed the project in record time and it looked perfect. In Mid-2018, we decided to add 1,000+ Sq Ft to our home to create a new Kitchen, living room and dinette space all in an open concept. What I had in my head was placed into a design by Steve and built exacted as we dreamed. It has now been nine months since the project was completed and we couldn't be happier with the finished project and Steve's work. The space looks great and we have had no problems with the workmanship. Everyone who has seen our new space has the same reaction, Wow, who did this work? There were so many complexities to this project which included the removing of a fireplace, raising a portion of the house that had settled, splitting the HVAC system to install an upstairs and downstairs unit, new plumbing, fixtures, adding a new section right next to an existing pool, the list goes on and on. Steve thoroughly planned each and every phase of construction in a timely and professional manner. To add to Steve's burden, my wife and I remained in the house throughout the 120 - 160 day construction period. We made a very large investment in our home and Steve was the only one we trusted to complete such a large project. Steve has outstanding project management skills as well as his vast experience in construction will keep any project on track. Steve and his crew were onsite 1 June through Mid-September and we had zero problems with the construction or crew. The subcontractors Steve's works with he has known for years and they are very good. We have found Steve's pricing to be fair, competitive, and honest. I would not hesitate to hire SGS Builders, Steve and Enrique, again. They are outstanding to work with and we couldn't be happier with our two projects completed by Steve.

    Siding Doctors
We had a longstanding problem with water entering our home behind siding and above windows on the back of our home. After multiple siding and handymen refused to do the work, siding doctors performed the work quickly and for a great price. They kept me informed during the whole repair. They also fixed a piece of siding that had a hole in it and even fixed a piece that I didn't even know about for no extra charge. I would highly recommend them.

    SGS Builders Inc.
After seeing what a terrific job SGS Builders, Inc did to a similar model house in our development, my wife and I called the owner of SGS Builders, Mr. Steve Sanders, to meet and discuss our project. We provided him with a conceptual design for the addition we wanted, and Steve Sanders quickly provided us a detailed proposal and cost estimate that was very reasonable in our opinion. Knowing how well he and his team had performed on our neighbors home, we hired him to build our addition. One of the things that impressed us was the fact that SGS Builders is committed to working on and completing your job prior to taking on other work. He uses an experienced team of skilled subcontractors who he has worked with for decades. He worked with us on every aspect of the design, provided a detailed plan/drawings for the addition and kept us up to date on scheduling and execution of every phase of construction. Vice extending our existing HVAC to the new addition, which would have been a costly and difficult task, Steve suggested using a separate Daikin multi-zone mini-split heating and air conditioning system for the new addition. He is very hands on and very easy to work with and was very accommodating to our needs and several changes during the construction of the addition. Steve showed up on-site almost every day and directed his subcontractors in each aspect of the job. Steve worked with the County for all permits and inspections. Space was limited on our side lot, and Steve was very focused on ensuring the design and actual construction stayed within the allowed setbacks. Multiple surveys were taken and Steve worked with his subcontractors to ensure the footings, foundation and framing stayed within plan dimensions. Steve Saunders and his team of subcontractors did a terrific job on our addition. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. Money well spent. SGS Builders totally transformed our house. We highly recommend SGS Builders, Inc. Steve Saunders and his team provides a great design and build option for any home addition and remodel needs.

    RIBA Construction LLC
The replacement was done in November. It looked great. 6 months later the flashing started pulling away from the roof. I contacted them on June 1st to come and fix it. They promised several times to come out, but have not kept their promise. The final straw was today, August 10th. They told me this morning they were going to fix it, but the work was not done. This company lacks integrity. Stay far aware from them. They do not stand behind their product, nor keep their word.

Mid Atlantic Construction of Virginia Inc
The workers did a great job. They were very respectful of our property and cleanliness. We had one bush damaged (few branches broken off in the middle, looks like something/someone may have fell into it), but other than that no other issues). We replaced the roof with architectural shingles and the siding went from aluminum to vinyl. Everything was done to code or to manufactures recommendation. When doing the roof, they noticed that the plywood was 3/8" vice 1/2" (recommended). I had them replace it all with 1/2", wanted to have it done right. Looks like insurance is going to cover that cost too. What a face lift for the house. We love it. It is some work to interface with the contractor, insurance company, and mortgage company; but if you stay on top of it, it isn't too bad. The head of the job and I stayed in touch pretty regularly to keep the paperwork going. He was very responsive. There was a few times where he had to pick a different time to swing by the house; but, he always called to explain why and set up an alternative time. The work finished last Saturday and I'm hoping to wrap up the finances in the next week or so.

    Pond Roofing Co Inc
Pond said that the deal I bought on Angie's List was for a whole house repair and not for my job. However they gave me a discount worth the price of the Angie's deal so I didn't lose money on it. The estimator was on time and gave me options to consider. The contract was thorough and easy to deal with electronically. The installation team was on time and worked for 4 hours straight. They did a great job and left everything very clean - including blowing maple seeds off the entire roof. The only reason I didn't give them an A grade was that the shingles they put in around the new skylight are a lighter color than the shingles on the rest of the roof. But I'll have to re-roof in a few years and the new skylight is in a place most people won't see the off-color shingles so I can live with it.

    Sunshine Contracting Corporation
The work started really late. I was promised that the roofing work would start 3 weeks after September 3rd, 2016 but it actually started more than six weeks after the time agreed upon. The complete job including roofing and siding was actually finished more than 8 weeks after I signed the contract. A lot of residue (wood and other roofing material) was left after the job was "done". I had to call in twice to have workers come back and clean up the mess. Certain parts of the job were not done and I had to call in to have them finished (a rake was not replaced as agreed upon in the contract) and I had to call in to have workers come back to complete the job. Some damage was done to the siding of my house because of falling debris from the roof tear-down.

    Gutter Ethics LLC
In the end it went exceptionally well. We had some difficult scheduling the work, primarily due to the weather. But once we got on the same page the service men arrived promptly and completed all the work within a few days. The first team came the same day that I spoke with owner Justin. That team cleaned the gutters and identified the sources of two leaks. They used an iPad to photo/video record each problem spot, including an area causing a leak into the house. Another service technician came on the next two days, once to add a strip to the roof edge, above the leaking gutter--to divert water that had been leaking behind the gutter. He returned again a date later to apply (special order) color-appropriate calking to siding and molding that seemed to be causing the leak into the house. Because of the delay and my past loyalty to the company, Justin informed that there would be no charge for these service. He also called me several times during the time the work was being completed to make sure the work was done properly and I was informed about the schedule for completing the remaining work. That positive customer service attitude will ensure that I continue to use Gutter Ethics for all my gutter services. Plus I will happily recommend them to others.
