not well. One week prior to the work being done, I paid a 50% "milestone payment. When the three person crew arrived, I was informed they were going to power-wash the exterior of my home. The crew were extremely sloppy. They left after "working" for two hours. When they returned, they took a lunch break. They resumed work and worked another two hours then left. When I inspected the work, they has defaced the bricks and mortar. They did not address the priority of the bricks. I called to complain and was told that the project manager would stop by the next day. I showed him the damage and told him I was disappointed. I asked him if the company was sending a brick mason to take care of the bricks and was told they were sending the same crew. Based on that information, I cancelled my contract. I am extremely disappointed and caution everyone to beware! This company refused to refund me my deposit, claiming that 50% of the work was complete. How is 50% of the work complete when the brick were the priority and all they did was damage? They cut a section of the drywall and left it hanging but did not remove or replace it as per the contract. I do not recommend this company to anyone for any reason. I was simply trying to take care of my home and now have no recourse but to go to small claims and to hire a competent brick mason to fix my bricks.

I have a 40 year old fireplace and chimney in need of repair to be safely used. They did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside, showed me the pictures and where repairs were required. Their knowledge was excellent! Chimney Inspectors were extremely professional, competent and clean. The price was fair for this work and the need to get it done by competent professionals that back up their work. This work requires the right weather which caused some delays on some of the outside finish work - which was smart. If they had done the work in cold weather, it is likely to have failed. They came through and finished the job when the weather was appropriate. They always responded to my calls and always addressed and resolved my concerns. Removing the old liner is dirty work and they did it without leaving a trace of ash/dirt in the house. The new chimney flue, cap work great. The job was clean and well done. I had complete confidence in the owner and his team during the job. Chimney inspectors will be my go-to chimney company from now on.

We had a flagstone patio, firepit, and steps installed. The final product is gorgeous. The lights are a really nice touch. The workmanship is great, the project was done in a timely manner, and Soni was very attentive and accommodating, He was the only contractor that said he could do the curved steps I wanted and they turned out beautiful. He has a good eye for design and gave suggestions that turned out beautifully. His prices were very reasonable. I would hire his company again for masonry jobs.

Clint Asmar and his team were simply outstanding. This is the second project I used Phoenix and they did not disappoint. I had three estimates for a major deck build and Clint came in lower. The quality of materials and workmanship were top notch. The deck is beautiful. Throughout the process Clint was able to adjust to minor changes in design. Also part of the work included repairs to brick front steps. Looks like new -- incredibly talented masons. Highly recommend Phoenix and Clint to anyone, and I would definitely use them again!

We were very pleased with the beautiful walkway built in the front of our home by Jeff Mottern’s staff. Project foreman, Jose and his two-man crew were courteous, accommodating and conscientious in their efforts to help design and then construct a walkway (including full-length step and stoop), placing Pennsylvania variegated Bluestone slate slabs on top of a rebar-reinforced concrete base, and including a brick border, with the brick closely matching that found on the front of our home. Weatherface rock risers were included as facing on the steps and at the base of the slate threshold in front of our entrance door. The crew laid warming blankets over the project to protect it from nighttime cold. At the completion of the project, the crew took care to clean the walkway and to haul away all excess debris. Several days later, the crew returned to remove excess concrete dust, using Sure Klean 600. As a result, we will now enjoy an attractive entranceway to our home, for many years to come. After completing much research, we believe we chose the right company to complete this project. - Tom

Julio & his crew did an excellent job. They were here early every day & worked hard every minute. All possible effort was made to improve yard drainage and prepare a perfect base. They were very careful and exacting and the patio & walk are gorgeous. I love the design and look forward to warm weather to do some landscaping and enjoy my new back yard.

It went great. Although the design bottom line was slightly over our expected original budget (what we thought we would pay), we did get our money's worth for the reasonable overage. The workers were thorough and understood how to execute Dennis' blueprint. All the rockscape came out perfectly. The trees and bushes were awesome when we planted them, but one of our doggies likeed some of them too much, so we had minor shrub losses months later. I will be hiring Dennis again for the front of my house, since I think the talent, pricing and creative abilities that Full Sun Landscapes delivers meets my high standards and criteria. I am confident he will be commissioned for additional work next year, which is why I chose to compose this candid assessment of work completed.

More than 30 years had taken its toll on the hardscaping around our house. Deborah and Gerardo came up with the perfect design and plan for how to cure the problem. The accompanying photos show the before (the challenge they faced) and after (the beautiful results they achieved). They started by removing the entire front walkway, the timbers around the planting areas, and the brick wall alongside the garage. Removing the existing walkway turned out to a major undertaking, since unbeknown to anyone, the original owner of the house had gone overboard in pouring the concrete underlayment for it. Gerardo and crew had to bring in a trailer mounted compressor and pneumatic jackhammer to break up the 14 or more inches of concrete lurking under the benign looking brick and flagstone walkway. The old concrete underlayment had to be removed because it had settled and tilted over the decades. The new walkway, composed of flagstone set in mortar, was laid on a new concrete underlayment, of more reasonable thickness, interlaced with appropriate rebar reinforcing. The brick wall and all of the planting area wooden borders were replaced with colonial stone, stacked and mortared in place with such loving craftsmanship that the result is a work of art. Everyone who sees it makes highly favorable comments about the design and workmanship. The existing concrete front porch, that ran the length of the house, was covered in the same flagstone as the walkway, generating an extremely effective blending of the house and hardscaping. On the side of the house opposite to the walkway, wall, and planter renovation, the planting areas were outlined with low bordering walls composed of the same stacked and mortared colonial stone, and the existing walkway from the front of the house to the rear yard, was replaced with beautiful natural stone stepping stones. It’s an understatement to say we couldn’t be happier with the finished results, and we can’t be more emphatic in our recommendation that if you are considering doing any landscaping/hardscaping project around your house, give Deborah and Gerardo a chance to amaze you, as they did us.

Mr Sanchez was very punctual in showing for up for the estimate and subsequent work. He emailed the proposal to us, we emailed changes and he emailed the final proposal. While doing the estimate Mr. Sanchez suggested that we consider getting the brick steps, which we were not replacing, re-pointed so that the color of the mortar in the steps and replacement walk would match. That was an excellent idea. We have had people come to the house and say that it looked like we had replaced the steps and walk. The job went very smoothly and was finished promptly. Mr. Sanchez himself was present for all of the work. His crew was very pleasant and polite. They cleaned up very nicely. We are extremely pleased.
