    Clinical Skin Center Northern
The provider was excellent and very friendly. She seemed knowledgeable, and I am planning to return soon for another annual skin check. However, a couple of months ago I called because I had a rash all over my body. I was told they could not see me until AN ENTIRE MONTH LATER. I was like, "Even though I have a rash all over my body?" They said I was welcome to visit my PCP or urgent care. I just find it hard to believe that they don't leave some appointments open for emergencies. I went to an urgent care and it turned out it was an allergic reaction to something. So although I would use Clinical Skin Center again for annual skin checks, I won't bother for rashes and stuff.

It went fine and everything was good. My only concern was that I wanted to see the doctor, but I have always just been transferred to the PA. My regular doctor referred me to that clinic for that specific doctor, but you could not get in to see that person, for, like, three months from now, which is ridiculous. You can't really put off things like that. The physician's assistant was wonderful, but they are not a doctor. They got me in quick, but it was with the physician's assistant. They have a very friendly office and I had to wait at least an hour both times, but it seems like with some of the better clinics and doctors you wait.

    Yevich-Tunstall, Dr. Inia I.
    Dr. Tunstall is very thorough. She had her notes in hand from my previous appointment. She also takes the time to check for skin cancer and quickly referred to her earlier notes regarding this. Her office is well run - very efficient and pleasant - and they try to accommodate appointment requests. Dr. Tunstall also asks about current issues and listens while she examines the patient, noting any change or pointing out areas of and quot;interest.and quot;

Dr. Saffran did a full examination, reviewed history, and discussed alternative treatment methods. He listened to my concerns, discussed next steps, and asked for lab results form and upcoming physical exam with my primary care provider.

I used him about a week ago. He is a warm, and friendly guy, and quick about his business. I like him for hot spots he gets from the sun and freeze denim, it hurts some bit but seems to work. I have third back and gone to this kind of thing. He does that part time. They moved in to new office. I waited for more than an hour for the last one.

    Gurney, Dr. Robert W.
I joined the part of Angie's List for medical referrals becaue my daughter needed to see a dermatologist.  We had gone to another dermatologist but the treatment did not work and he had a 'superior' attitude.  Based on the reviews on Angie's List, we call Dr. Gurney.  From the first phone call, this was an amazing experience.  The staff was friendly and efficient and they had appointments available!  Dy Gurney was amazing.  I thanked him at the end of our visit and he said he treats his patients the way he would want to be treated.  We're trying a new treatment and we have follow up appointments every month.  This was definetely worth the drive for us!

    Kravitz, Dr. Paul H.
I had written down a list of problems I was having with my skin over a period of time - as well as the medicines I was taking, in case one of those may have been causing a reaction. He told me to put down my list and just listen to his instructions. He did not let me ever explain my problem. And everything he told me I needed to do to cure my skin rashes, were already things that I do. But he didn't listen to me Long enough to hear that.
He quickly prescribed two medicines and walked out of the room. Had Dr. Kravitz listened to me, he would have known that I do not take Hot showers, I already use cerave cleanser and lotion, and I already use the laundry detergent he recommended. So now, one year later, my rashes have progressed, are still hurting and are now covering my once perfect face.
It is a pity to pay so much, only to have the doctor walk in for three or four minutes, and never listen to me. He saw the list of concerns in my hand which I had taken time to write down, so as not to waste his time. Hard to believe he would tell the paying patient to put down her list. Now, I am still in search of a dermatologist who will be professional enough to listen to me. He may think all skin rashes are the same, but obviously, they are not - because the medicines did nothing for me. Very sad.

    Kravitz, Dr. Paul H.
l arrived at my appointment on time and was greeted by a friendly staff. I was told that my insurance would not be accepted (my insurance provider had changed in between the time I made the appointment and it actually occurred) and that I would be expected to pay for services that day. I didn't mind since I had selected Dr. Kravitz based on his qualifications and recommendation from my internist.

Dr. Kravitz was prompt and quite friendly. He looked at the patch of skin I was concerned about and explained that it was not skin cancer but it had the potential to turn into skin cancer in about 20 years. He recommended that I allow him to remove it, commenting that if he didn't remove it today I would probably be back in a few years asking him to do it. He was thorough in his explanation and I felt quite confident in him. I said OK.

Dr. Kravitz froze the patch of skin - a process that took only a matter of seconds and was not at all uncomfortable. He said it should completely disappear within 2 weeks (it actually disappered in 10 days). While I was there, he also checked the rest of my skin for anything unusual.

He spent time with me reviewing a list of skin care products and sunscreens that he recommended I use. They were all reasonably priced and available at most drug stores. He gave me a written list indicating which stores would have them and how much I should expect to pay. He talked about the importance of checking your skin regularly and gave me some product samples and a brochure about checking for skin cancer.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kravitz. He was efficient, took his time, focused on me, and spoke to me and treated me as an equal. He made sure I completely understood my condition and gave me good advice.

This was my first visit and I would recommend him but I don't know if he has any openings. He was an older gentleman and is experienced and personable. I did not have to wait for my appointment and everybody in the office was friendly. I will use him again in the future.

He is extremely good. He is honest and reliable and an excellent diagnostician. The office environment is not so good and the receptionists all are kind of cold-acting people. The doctor has got kind of an ego and likes to talk about himself. He is certainly a nice enough guy but he is really cocky and really thinks he knows it all. I am a professional tennis player and he knows more about tennis than I do and it is amazing.
