  Maintenance went well, but I was missing a hub part on my alloy wheels--an excessive $122, which was ordered. I'd not heard anything and returned to the dealer a week later only to find the part was wrong and the parts department couldn't find the right part online. It's been two months.

  Recently our 2003 Honda Civic started slipping gears. I took it to a local mechanic, who said it would cost $3800 off site at a transmission specialty shop. I asked Tony for a second opinion. He'd done that kind of work recently and assured me he could install a quality transmission for substantially less. He thought at the time it might need a new alternator as well, but after diagnosis he found it didn't so he did not install and charge me for something I didn't need. He did notice battery acid on the battery tray so he recommended replacing it with a reconditioned battery to save me some money. Nice! My husband drove the Honda with the new transmission and texted me, and quot;the Honda shifting is better than when it was driven off the lot. Thrilled with it.and quot;
  A couple years ago on a trip to Tennessee, I bumped into a rebar sticking out of a parking pylon and put a pretty big dent in my husband's bumper. I called a local dealership, who said they'd have to order a new bumper. I called Tony in a bit of a panic and texted him a photo of it. He assured me he could REPAIR the bumper and did just that when I got home from the trip.
  Background: We've been customers of Tony for many years, even before he bought his own shop, Ace Collision Medics. He is honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. His shop does great body shop work as well as mechanical repairs. He's repaired our vehicles after accidents and fixed regular wear and tear. He can FIX things, not just take things out and put on new things. He also is willing to deliver our vehicle to us after repair. That's service you don't get other places!
