    Charles Graves Painting
Charles and his team were efficient, professional, responsive, quick to ensure customer satisfaction, and below competitor's pricing on top of it all. I would strongly recommend Charles Graves Painting for paint, drywall, and odds-and-ends odd jobs to anyone! I recently purchased a home to renovate and have already hired them for their second job with me. Charles, Anna and the rest of the team are amazing!

    Floors For Life
Great, Carpet installer fixed creaks in floor in hallway, Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring looks like wood but is completely waterproof and very durable. Work was done on time and all issues were taken care of without hesitation.

Clawes Carpets Inc (12753 Braemar Village Plaza)
We are pleased with the quality of the two rugs and how well they fit into our new home decor. The suggestion that both rugs should be the same due to the small L-shaped dining/living room area was perfect. Anything else would have looked too chopped up and would not have tied everything together. Definitely recommend Clawes and would use them again with no hesitation.

    Andrewz Homes & Renovation
Excellent! Quick note that this is a late review; work was done at the end of 2015 (I just never joined Angie's list until now). So first experience was the quote, John came over and was very friendly and helpful; he shot out some good ideas and was very agreeable to everything I was hoping to accomplish. We had bad experiences with other contractors that came over to quote us, mostly way over my target price (I had done my homework on price expectations), others just not helpful in terms of ideas. John's was super helpful and the price came in right around my expectations. The quality of work was great, everything was completed on time (there was a little delay with the scheduling of the inspector, but wasn't their fault; the actual work was done on time). John was very helpful and was willing to make reasonable changes without charge. Note that other contractors who quoted us said they would charge us for any change to the scope even if the work hadn't started yet; made us pretty uncomfortable... John however stated he wouldn't charge us for any changes that don't affect materials or cause extra time, and he stuck by it! We were very happy! He even fixed the location of some speaker wire for me after the drywall was up; I can admit that was an unreasonable request on my part.... but he was cool about it and fixed it for me even though it meant he had to re-do some dry wall work; A+ for customer service! Overall it's been over a year now, and we're incredibly happy with our basement. We've had no issues since the work was done and we'd definitely hire them again.

    Bull Run Kitchen & Bath
We worked with Alan to renovate our kitchen and our experience was wonderful. We thought our modest budget would mean we had to go with one of the big box stores, but Bull Run was able to meet our budget and I really believe we had a better experience and better value for our money than we would have had somewhere else. From start to finish, I felt like we got great design advice from someone who was willing to listen to all of our concerns and respect our choices. Alan was always available to give us an update or answer a question, and he always made sure we were completely satisfied with the project. Alvaro and the team who did the work were professional and hardworking. Most importantly, the kitchen is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the finished project.

Kim from FLOORware did an outstanding job of repairing the deep marks on the floor, filling them in and matching the color to the floor. Sasam, the owner of the company, made several calls to clarify what was to be done and what choices I had. They both went above and beyond.

    Roger's Tile LLC
I would like to apologize to Roger for not posting this review sooner. Work and home life got crazy, but that's no excuse. This is the second job that Roger has done for us and like before his work was outstanding from start to finish. He went with us to help select the tile colors, order the cabinet and bathroom/laundry room fixtures. I wasn't sure about a particular style or tile color and he offered his advice based on the size of the room and lighting conditions. He showed up on time and gave us constant status updates. I could say more but I believe pictures are worth a thousand words.

Clawes Carpets Inc (12753 Braemar Village Plaza)
Great! This was our first experience with Clawes, but it sure won't be our last. Both Doug the rep who came to give us our estimate & Valerie in the Bristow office were fantastic to deal & work with. The 2 installers were great too, they did a great job, communicated well, were neat & cleaned up after themselves well too. Their $ price also included an "Angies List" % discount. Great job!

The Grout Medic - Northern VA

It is refreshing to see a company who takes pride in every aspect. and who has a passion for what they do.

The Grout Medic provides outstanding customer service from the GM to the Tech who performs the services.  They are genuinely nice and personable as well as experts and want to ensure they leave your home with more than just a satisfied customer.  They are detail oriented and leave their imprint of exemplary workmanship behind..

(This rating comes from a Type-A personality who has extremely high expectations).

They were punctual and communicate with the customer throughout the process (from scheduling initial appointment, to receiving quote in a timely manner as well as scheduling and completing the work).

We are pretty clean people but I decided to start using a product on my porcelain kitchen tile floor a few years ago that was less than desirable.  Although it killed germs, over time, it caused the grout to appear dirty--and it was...I used the germ-killing product after acquiring two small dogs.

Despite getting on my hands and knees applying a store-bought Grout Cleaner on ONE TILE as a test tile, and a mechanical scrubber, it took over an hour for part of the grout surrounding the one tile to be clean.  I may have the luxury of time on my hands due to my recent (and perhaps temporary) retirement, it would have taken many days upon days of backbreaking work to restore the grout and I am confident it wouldn't have come close to their workmanship nor had the warranty!

Thanks to The Grout Medic, the floor and grout looks brand new--all in a day's work!  They definitely live up to their motto, "Bringing Grout & Tile Back to Life."

(During a recent kitchen renovation, it was recommended we keep our porcelain tiles due to their quality and that they were still in style).

With a high-powered steamer, the Tech steam cleaned all grout surfaces which inadvertently cleaned the tiles.  After the grout dries, they applied a color seal to the grout lines that softly complimented the tiles and décor  (they bring several colors with them that is agreed upon during the quote process and have additional ones available if needed).

I will use my Shark Steamer as they suggested.  If a cleaner is used, they recommend  a PH neutral cleaner such as Aqua Mix, which is sold on Amazon or in a smaller quantity in a hardware store.

One side note. We had our glass shower in master with tiles cleaned and re-caulked as well on this day.  It wasn't as tedious of job as the kitchen floor since it was newer and we wipe it down daily.  I just wanted it to look new again. Some of the clear caulking had tiny spots of mold underneath.  Also, the contractor who installed the tile used a porous caulking surrounding the tile floor and walls which was showing tiny cracks.  They applied a color silicone caulking complimentary to the décor which is guaranteed to never crack or shrink if properly maintained (no harsh chemicals or scrubbing).  They did an outstanding job on that job as well  EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

    Highly recommend this company!
