This was an "OverHaulin" surprise for my wife. I wanted to p*** her ride with body work, new rims, new sound, new remote start, new remote entry and interior/exterior detailing. I explained all of this to James and he got it. He even coined it as the "zero to hero" project, not that I was a zero to start, but it was catchy none the less. So the nightmare began....
1st attempt - I drop off the car in the middle of a snow storm at his house with plans to get it back a few days later with all the work we agreed to have done, including him coordinating the detailing. I specifically asked to have it dropped off by five so I could surprise the wife with the work, and see it in the daylight. He showed up late and it wasn't until I pulled it into the light of the garage that I noticed the shoddy work and imperfections on every area he touched.
2nd attempt - I called him that night and said it looked like crap. He said he would take care of me and we arranged a time for me to drop it off again for a full day. He was not there when I dropped it, despite me asking him to be, and when I got it back (again he was not there), there was little improvement, if at all. I texted him back and forth and we finally agreed to another attempt at my place. Trust me, I was very clear about my frustration and he assured me he would make it right.
3rd attempt - James came to my house and tried to fix/repaint the back taillight mess. Still looked like crap when he was done but I figured I would give him a chance to finish, even though we agreed this visit he would take care of everything.
4th attempt - James came to my house and wet sanded the hood and back taillight area. Upon final inspection he agreed that it still looked like crap and said he understood why I was upset.
He offered to redo the hood if I brought it to his shop in Woodbridge and I could even hang out for the four hours or so it would take him to do it (lucky me). I told him I had enough,  and had already invested a significant amount of time, money and patience in him. He refused to refund my money citing that he had "kids to feed". I told him I wanted a refund and he asked that I text him with what I thought was fair and he would get back to me.
He left the wet sanded clear coat white spots all over the place (it took three washes and an exterior detailing to remove MOST of them, some are still there), a massive paint drip running down the front lip of the hood, numerous "fish eyes" all over the paint job and indentations where it wasn't properly filled. I took it to multiple body shops for estimates and it would cost all of what I paid him and them some to fix all of his mistakes. They were amazed that anyone one claiming to be a body repair shop would do such crappy work, never mind leave the vehicle such a mess when done. He ruined my surprise for my wife, wasted my time and money, and left me worse off then when I started.
I am currently disputing his charges with Bank of America because I don't want to deal with this donkey again and I need them money back to pay someone who has a clue.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HACK!!! (sorry for insulting the hacks out there....)

    Dentmasters of Arlington
I submitted the estimate by email (on Saturday) and got a prompt reply (on Saturday).  An appointment was made for Monday morning.  I arrived and was seen immediately.  He found a dent I had missed.  He repaired them in about 90 minutes and now you can't tell they were ever there.

I would only use Mr. Richard Routson as I now his work and demeanor are perfect.

I don't know the price because it went through the insurance company. They did excellent work and I can't tell they did the work. It was ready when they told me. I didn't really have any dealings with them this time. I dealt with them years ago and they were very courteous. They were very good.

The process from start to finish went very efficiently and smoothly. Within hours of bringing the car in, I received a call explaining what they would be doing to the car and how long it would take. At this point they gave me an approximate day of two days before the job would be completed. The following afternoon, I received a call stating that my car was ready to be picked up. I am pleased with their professionalism.

Our one-year-old Honda Odyssey had incurred multiple scratches from both the doorway of our garage and from a minor accident. When we contacted James via his website, he responded within hours. He scheduled an appointment to give an estimate on the repair cost. He arrived on time, assessed the damage, and spoke honestly as he thoroughly explained the available repair options and what results to expect with each. He did explain a lower cost repair option, which we opted for with some of the scratches. Because we had several minor scratches in addition to the main area from the accident, James offered a major price discount, even touching up some for free.
I had to leave to pick up my daughter from school, so James completed some prep work before I left. He left and returned an hour or two later. In one afternoon, he cleared out space in my garage, moved the car, completed the work, which included sanding and painting on two panels of the body of the vehicle as well as repainting a mirror, and cleaned up. He did a beautiful job, and the side of the Odyssey looks like the accident never happened. He totally eliminated the major scrapes, and even the touch-ups he offered to complete for free on other parts of the vehicle look markedly better than before.
James was professional and did professional work, and we would not hesitate to hire him again.

WT was great.  They took a little longer than I'd hoped since I was footing the bill for the rental car.  However, their service was fantastic and impeccable.  Angie's List reports were right on.  The reviews that I saw else where on google, etc.  (negative) were not the experiences that I had.  I would absolutely recommend them.

I bent the drivers side door backwards on my Toyota pickup by allowing it to roll back into an obstacle with the door open. This stretched the hinges and door-check out of shape, and the front edge of the door was indented from impacting the trailing edge of the front fender. I forced the door closed, but it would not open without force and more damage.  So I entered/exited via the passenger door for a few days. Checking Angies List body shops for comparable repairs, I estimated $400-500. Moe and a previous associate of his had done some amazing and flawless custom auto body and paint work for my son a few years ago. I showed the damage to a member of his team, who put together an estimate while I waited, which was only about $270 to replace the damaged hinges and door-check. But meanwhile, Moe went outside and opened my door. He had a couple of tools with him, and within 5 minutes he had pulled, lifted, twisted, and adjusted the door until it was opening and closing like normal without major repairs. It reminded me of the time a chiropractor un-pinched a nerve in my back, allowing me to cancel carpal-tunnel surgery. I decided to leave the dent for later (needs a paint job). Moe wouldn't take any money for this, so I'm paying it forward on Angie's List.  I have a few dents and scrapes on my other cars, so why would I ever go anywhere else?

This was total price paid since we did not make an insurance claim --a very reasonable price for the amount of work done. They did an excellent job of repairing, kept in touch to let me know progress, stayed true to their estimate and started and finished job ahead of schedule. Car was detailed inside and out upon delivery, looked brand new, which in and of itself was almost worth the total money paid! Waiting area is very clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and Hertz on site in case car rental is needed. Would definitely use again (though I hope I don't have to!)
