    Hometown Lawncare
The work I needed done was beyond the scope of the companies services. However, based on their interaction with me, I would not hesitate to contact them to perform work that would be more in line with their focus!

    Hometown Lawncare
Larry was exceptionally responsive, professional, and conscientious. He responded quickly to my inquiry and came out the next day to give a quote and schedule the work. Bad weather prevented work on the scheduled day - but he gave me a head's up the day before letting me know it was a possibility and texted first thing on the originally scheduled day to reschedule. He came the following day and worked tirelessly for hours until the job was completed. I can't overstate how professional and conscientious this young man is.

    Extreme Tree Company
Great job by this company. Arrived as scheduled and removed 11 trees from our yard that had grown too big and close to the house. Dropped all the tress without damage to house or other trees and some were difficult. Crew was courteous and professional and used good safety procedures. Will hire them again if more trees need to be removed.

    Highland Tree Care

They did a good job, did not damage my grass and I thought it was quite good. He also evaluated some of the other trees that were here to make sure they were healthy. They guy knows his stuff.

    Highland Tree Care

It was a big tree. They cut the wood to exactly the length I wanted it. I have used them before. Their personality was very good. What I liked mostly was how professional and safe they were. They were very careful around my property. I can't think of anything they could improve.

    Extreme Tree Company
Everything went "extremely" well! Very responsive to phone calls/emails and promptly on time. Everyone was very professional, courteous and considerate. They went above and beyond my expectations for the service provided. They even laid boards down so their truck would not tear up the yard since it had snowed/rained the day before they came out. The cost was very reasonable. Would definitely hire again with no hesitation!

    Edwards Landscape & Construction LLC
Trust me, ELC is not a reliable company. They never showed up, and found different excuses for it. They promised me to grade my backyard, and now my backyard is still totally a mess. They will ask you for money from the beginning, and again and again using different excuses. I signed the contract with them in August and was asked to pay more than 75% of the total payment for different reasons within the first week. After having money, they never picked up my call. After two months, they finally showed up and did excavation for 2 hours, only making my backyard a mess and my internet cable cut. After that they disappeared with tons of dirt in my backyard. Now it is already 3 months, and my backyard is still a mess.

    VALLEY LANDSCAPING
Valley Landscaping re-landscaped a side of our house, which included removing some large trees, stump grinding, grading the soil, putting down sod, mulching a large steep bank, and planting a few small trees and perennials.   We discussed the work with Garrett beforehand, and from the start he seemed very arrogant.  When they had to change the plans a little bit due to some underground issue I wanted to be clear on what the new plan was, so I asked a few questions and when I expressed a little bit of concern over whether the flat area would be big enough he said something to the effect of "Look, I've been doing this a long time, and you seem to worry about a lot of stuff, so just try to stay calm and trust me things will be fine."   When I told him again the dimensions of the swing set and that I wanted to make sure it would fit he said "Y'all seem like the type of people that would buy a 30-feet boot for a 20-feet space".  I guess he was trying to be funny.   But I've never worked with somebody so condescending, and don't ever plan to work with him again.
The workers showed up on time and they did good work.  But it never failed that when it was quitting time for the day, they got the h*** out of dodge in a hurry without ever talking to me, even on the final day.   Poof, they were gone.  They hooked up a sprinkler around lunch time on the final day, and explained the sprinkler to me verbally in about 2 minutes, then went on about their work for the remainder of the afternoon.   That was the final day, and they left around 5:30pm without saying a word as usual.   One would think a professional company like Valley Landscaping would leave WRITTEN instructions on how to operate the sprinkler (including how often it should be running), how often to water the sod, the trees, and plants.   But no, when the work was done that was it.  And we're not natural green thumbs.  We expected some guidance in the form on clearly written instructions on how to care for the $10,000 landscaping job they just did.  Oh, and the sprinkler was faulty so it ran for about 12 hours straight before we realized it.  I thought it seemed to be running a lot, but then started doubting what the worker told me as far as how often it should run.  Again, providing WRITTEN instructions seem like a common sense thing for a landscaping business to provide it's customers.
Valley Landscaping does good work but that by itself isn't enough, so we likely will not use them for any future landscaping jobs due to the attitude of the manager and their communication style .

Green Up Lawns & Landscapes - The Guys in Purple
They are excellent.  Take the time to talk to you about what you need and don't try a one-size-fits-all approach.  They come when they say they will and are always polite and professional.  And our lawn looks fantastic.

    TECH TREE EXPERTS INC
Great experience on both jobs that were within a couple of days.  We are new to the area and our neighbors on this street have been using John for years.  His reputation is impeccable!  He is courteous, prompt and customer service oriented.  John will be our go to for all our tree and shrub needs in the future.
