There work exceeded my expectations. I was very concerned about this job because my husband and I had just had some trees removed, and our yard had been limed and reseeded. It just worked out that I hired ConWorx to do this work after my yard had been done. I mentioned to Mr. Bailey that I didn't want the yard tore up with heavy equipment, so he and his crew dug out the dirt for the foundation by hand. When the job was finished, my yard was left in impeccable shape. I love my new concrete slab. The slab is level and should serve us well. We are excited to install our new storage shed.

We got an estimate the day after we called. Work didn't get started until the next week because Miss Utility didn't mark the gas line for a few days. Preparation and paving were then done over three consecutive days. We were really pleased with the quality of the work, and how efficiently it was carried out. Julian, our contact, provided helpful information about what would be done, and also had some suggestions that improved on our plan for the work. We will use Fonseca Concrete again if we have other paving to be done.

Although it took a while from the first contact with Mr. Dame to the commencement of the work (due to weather issues and other projects and commitments), I was impressed with Mr. Dame's experience and expertise, and felt he would do a good job.   I was very pleased with the result as well as the efficiency and professionalism of Mr. Dame and his team.   Mr. Dame takes pride in his work and didn't rush through my job just so he could get to the next project.  He went the extra mile to see that the work was performed to my satisfaction and even took the time to make suggestions to improve  the appearance of the retaining wall --using concrete blocks on the  top row which could be used as a planter and also later on staining the wall a different color.   He's very personable and easy to work with.  Mr. Dame and his team cleaned up when they were finished and left the work area in good shape!
I certainly would recommend J and D Masonry without hesitation.

The first day, the men came right on time and took out the old sidewalk and got everything prepared for pouring the new sidewalk. The second day the new sidewalk was poured and the concrete pattern was stamped in the concrete. The 3rd day, the men returned and put a sealer on the sidewalk.
A suggestion for the company is that they need to leave you a note or something on how long to stay off the new sidewalk and the sealer coat.
Overall, it was a good experience. The price was good. The finished sidewalk looks very nice and we have had very nice comments from neighbors on how it looks. We will have to see how it holds up.

The best part of this was that the task of matching the rest of the original stone facing was impossible.  He worked hard to try to match the color by adding tint to the concrete.  It looks good.  Trying to purchase something that matched the stone from the 1970s would be impossible.  He made his own faux stone out of concrete and stain, which was pretty creative work, really.

Very badly.  Crocket came out and did an estimate and talked to us about what to replace it with.
Then he had a subcontractor come out and do the work.  They removed the old porch.  Then, we waited for about 2 weeks for them to get the correct concrete (it was tinted/colored).  Once they finally got around to it, they poured the new porch.  Once they removed the forms, the color was very un-even, and the surface was very rough (pits and pock marks).  The subcontractor accused us of having our dog step on it while it was wet - we don't have a dog, and there aren't any in the neighborhood.
After contacting Mr Crocket many times, he eventually came out to look at the work.  To his credit, he agreed immediately that it needed to be replaced.
Due to the time of the year, we had to wait several months for the second subcontractor to come out.  The second guy did a great job, and we are fairly happy with the final job.
But it took almost 6 months and a lot of work to get a simply concrete porch.  There was a lot of finger pointing and argument about who's "fault" it was.
The cost was pretty expensive for just a concrete porch, but because of the other good reviews on Angie's List, we expected to have a very professional job done.  We were very disappointed that we didn't get that.
In the end, we will not use him again, and we won't recommend him to anybody.

Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job for us.  This is the second job they have dome for us.  The previous job was a flagstone patio approximately 12' by 40'.  They do beautiful, meticulous work and take great pride in their craftsmanship.  We have had several friends and neighbors ask about the quality and service of their work and we recommend them without reservation.

They did all of the parging and landscaping work over two days. They did a great job and it looks fantastic. A stamped concrete walkway that they did last year runs along a 35' wall about 2' from it. They had to dig out all of the dirt down about a foot to parge the wall. After the parging they filled the space with top soil and planted the bushes. It really looks nice. About a year ago they poured and finished the driveway slabs in front of the garage (30' x 35') and behind the garage (35' x 15'), and poured and stamped a 3' x 35' walkway. I recommend these guys for any type of concrete work you need.
