    Wooldridge Heating Air & Electrical
I have 2 circuit breaker boxes. I am still not sure I needed a 400 amp upgrade. I already has 300 amps and never had a single problem .Now I have an unsightly and huge piece of metal conduit running up the side of my roof, through a huge hole drilled through my roof. It is 5 feet off the roof with pieces of metal hanging off it. In addition there is a massive electrical line about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, running through my attic and coming down the other side of my house. One breaker box is not flat and has large gaps all around it. The boys who did the job seemed to do it well. It seemed they do not often do this sort of thing . Jesse and Nick worked really hard. The quality control guy came after all the work was done, swept and labeled circuit boxes. Now Will Sandridge who seems to sell the HVAC and minisplits is not calling back. I also told Melvin Turner I wanted my old circuit breaker boxes and breakers. They took them away without even asking if I wanted them. My house looks ugly now and the reason I put in that electric upgrade was to get minisplits or a heat pump and no one is responding.I asked about a surge protector and got a shrug. I am rather devastated and feel I was railroaded into an electric upgrade perhaps to give the boys the experience? I see no other reviews with an electric upgrade, just generators.

    Black Horse Electrical LLC
Rob arrived on time and was professional and courteous all the while he was here. He had to go out to Lowe's to pick up the receptacle, but was back in no time to finish up the job. I will definitely call on him again any time we have electrical problems.

    BA Layne Electric
I called Bruce to troubleshoot what I thought was a problem in the circuit or the circuit breaker in a trailer on a property I recently purchased.  Having never owned a trailer before, I was reluctant to try to troubleshoot the problem myself.  He identified the problem quickly and resolved it.  He also inspected and tested the other outlets and outside lights, which was reassuring to me.  He explained the circuit breaker set up to me as there are fewer circuits and more receptacles on each circuit than in a regular house.  I appreciate the explanations rather than just the repair service from the technicians I hire.  They make me a more responsible homeowner if I know something about the various systems in my house.
I am glad that the problem was a simple one and that he only charged me a service call.  But, I would have trusted his price had more extensive repairs been necessary.

    Enquist Enterprises Inc.
The owner of the company,Justin Enquist, is excellent to work with. My ideas of quality work and his were both the same. He personally went to the roof shingle supplier to get a half dozen samples of shingles to match our house shingles, which are no
longer being made. The building sub contracters that he hired to do the framing and roof were very good as well as the cement
sub contractors who did the cement floor slab work. There was a fair bit of trouble getting a brick layer to build brick bases around
the bottom of the six support posts. A brickwork sub contractor was finally engaged to do work after a couple of weeks time. The
bricks and mortar that were used however did not match the brickwork of our house.
I had to contact a contractor who specialized in Brick Tinting to correctly match the brick color to the house and I acid bleached
the mortar myself. The brick tinting was quite expensive. I contacted Mr. Enquist and told him about the brick tinting cost and he was
agreeable to a final payment adjustment to cover the cost.

Southern State Electric, Plumbing and Heating/AInc

I did NOT use Southern State Electric, Plumbing, and Heating to get the kitchen sink fixed and the new faucet installed. Instead, I contracted with a much more local plumbing company who charged me $100 to replace the leaking basket strainer, and an additional $85 for the new faucet installation. It took the two-man crew approximately one and one-half hours to complete both parts of the job.

I will leave it up to the reader to decide whether or not Southern State's cost and time estimate were a fair market value for this plumbing job; obviously I thought not.

    Dollman Construction, Inc
In early 2014, I moved to Bedford county from Maryland and purchased an older house. I needed some major work done and was unfamiliar with any contractors in the area. I consulted the yellow pages and found Dollman Construction. I called them to evaluate the project and requested an estimate. Mr. Dollman met with me at the job site and we reviewed my needs. I purchased a 36x30 steel building in February, but needed a contractor to erect the building. Not only was the building erection needed, but this job required foundation drawings, removal of several large trees, excavation of the site, building approval and permit by the county for the design of the building and accompanying lot, as well as insulation and electrical work which were not originally included in the plans. Mr. Dollman's company was able to work with my needs as changes in the plans indicated. All work was completed by Dollman Construction, from the foundation for the building to completing the parking lot outside the garage. The building was quickly and professionally erected, with concrete pads and extra large garage doors.
The house we purchased had significant water damage by a door off the side of the house.  Construction of a new porch area and repair of the damage was next.  The company built a new porch and now this is my favorite entrance and exit into the house. The carpenters made improvements to the area so no new water damage would occur in the future.
The roof was twenty years old, and needed to be replaced.  Mr. Dollman's company was fast and efficient replacing the roof.  A steep A-frame house with skylights over a sunroom and edges which overlooked a steep incline with nowhere to deposit the old shingles presented a significant challenge to the roofers.  The roofers were able to finish the job in ONE day, including clean up of the area. Great care was take to avoid damage from the workers to any structures or landscaping plants.  The onsite supervisor of the work crews is knowledgeable and always available for questions and concerns.
The cost of this work was around ninety thousand dollars, but the work is professional and the employees are polite and conscientious. I am quite pleased with Dollman Construction and have already spoken to Mr. Dollman regarding other projects I need to complete. I could not be happier with the work completed and highly recommend Dollman Construction to anyone looking for a contractor.
On another note, the point of contact in the office is Crystal. She is very polite, friendly and dependable. A rare gem. Kudos to Dollman Construction.

Mr. Barnett showed up promptly, worked efficiently, and charged us fairly. He did not overcharge us for jobs that took a little bit longer than they seemed. He was polite, professional, and easy to work with. He responded quickly to our needs and we would gladly hire him again and recommend his work to our friends and families.
