    Absolute Plumbing & Mechanical
Excellent! Jerry, on the phone, knew exactly what had happened. Rick arrived a bit later and was absolutely awesome. Had the valve replaced, added shut off valves and did a great job cleaning up. I was very pleased and would hire them again.

Herman W. Allen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
Great! Wes was very responsive and had a quote to me the next day. His techs listened to our concerns and offered multiple solutions with varying price points. Once the work was agreed upon they began work the next week (incredibly prompt considering the demand of the season). All work was completed as advertised in less than two days. Would gladly recommend!!!

Randy is a hands-on owner who estimates every job himself - generally within 24 hours of being contacted (even on weekends). His quotes are usually accurate. Employees seem competent and behave professionally. I don't think that the rates are the lowest but that is offset somewhat by the fact that the work is done well, done quickly, and on schedule. The work is also "backed up" if follow up is needed or if something isn't quite right. I anticipate continuing to use this company.

    Gilman Heating, Cooling & Plumbing
The tech showed up and showed me what the problem was. He even made the comment that this would be his easiest call all day. I was never given an estimate or told about the $90 charge just for someone to come out. They could've at least told me that when I made the appointment. After he finished about 15 minutes later, he said he would get my bill. Ten minutes later he comes back with a bill for $255.40! It was a $90 service charge, $105 for 'miscellaneous', and $60 for the washer. I gave him my credit card because I figured I had to pay at this point. He had me sign a line on his tablet and never explained what I was signing for, nor did it say on the tablet either. I thought I was signing for the credit card. Then I had to sign again. When I got the emailed receipt, I saw that the first time I signed it was actually the invoice, where I was agreeing to have the services performed and to pay the amount quoted. If I saw this invoice before he did any work, I would've told him not to continue. When I finally was able to speak to a manager (I had to call twice and then get a return call) he said that the tech overcharged me for a part and was willing to refund me $50. He agreed that I should've been given an estimate. Well, after going back and forth for a bit, we agreed he would refund me about $130. He said they didn't run the credits cards until the evening and it would be fixed then. It wasn't. The card was charged and I had to call again. I was told they would mail a refund check. Finally, almost a week later, this was resolved. This business says they offer a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee but those are just words on the page. I feel like the tech purposely didn't show me the invoice ahead of time and took me for a fool. And I am definitely not satisfied.

    MATTHEWS WELL & PUMP INC
Matthews Well & Pump came out to do a water test and inspect all of our well equipment, which was 29 years old. They showed up promptly for the appointment and conducted a thorough review of our system. The technician informed me that the well pump pressure tanks were very close to failure, which was not surprising for a nearly 30 year old system. He re-pressurized the tanks, but recommended that we replace the aging 2 tank system with a single tank system. He took the water sample for testing at the lab. Within about a week, I received the analysis of the water sample, as well as a written recommendation for a softener/filtration system as well as the quote to replace the pressure tanks. The price for the softener seemed a little high, but was less than other quotes I received from competitors. The softener recommended was a 2 tank system - one for softening and one providing whole house filtration. The price to put in a new well pump pressure tank seemed reasonable enough. I asked several questions of the technician via email and by phone. All of my questions were answered with thorough responses. We scheduled the job and Matthews showed up promptly as scheduled. The work was completed very professionally. The company followed-up with us by phone within 2 weeks to be sure we were satisfied with the work and the quality of the water. I would highly recommend Matthews Well & Pump.

    SJ & Sons Contracting
I was very pleased with the job. Mr. Chisholm was prompt and courteous, did a good job and cleaned up after himself when the job was done (I've had other contractors that left me a mess to clean up). I will be glad to work with him again.

    SJ & Sons Contracting
I had the most difficult plumbing leak - an underground water pipe from my well to the house was leaking under my driveway.  I have done my own plumbing repairs before, but I have never dealt with anything like this, so I sought help from a professional.

The contractor told me what the problem most likely was before he even started work - there was a pipe coupling under the driveway that finally gave out after 25 years.  He dug the hole by hand over 2 feet deep, and sure enough, there was a leaky old pipe coupling!

The job went pretty quickly, other than digging the hole, but that was understandable.  Moving that much dirt and rocks with a shovel takes a lot of time.

The cost was very reasonable - I expected to have to pay a lot more for an underground leak, and I'm glad to be rid of that problem.

    EAS Plumbing Services
Like it always does when I use EAS Plumbing, whom I have used for about twenty years. I call and and get a call back within a half-day. I am scheduled within days. The work is done professionally and inexpensively. Remember (!), you get what you pay for so if you want me to say that EAS Plumbing is the most inexpensive contractor, I won't!!! I cannot do anything manually. But, I know who to call for work. I am a "clearing house" for all of my friends. They call me to ask, "Who would you use for...." For plumbing, I always say, "Call EAS Plumbing."

    C & W Hanover Septic
We used this company 2 times. First job was slow but decent work. This time around was totally unacceptable. We had appointments scheduled 4 times but nobody ever showed up. On the 4th time they said Billy came out while nobody was home but did not find any problems. I found that odd because we had an alarm sounding on our septic tank for 5 days. At this point it had been so long that my neighbor now knows how to come silence it because it keeps his baby awake. I sat down at the computer and reviewed the camera footage from our outdoor camera system. The only thing going on in our yard that day was our neighbor and his dog coming to silence the alarm twice. No sign of C&W at all. When asked about it Trudy became very defensive and told us we just needed to take our business elsewhere. Up until that point she insisted they had been at my house. Possible they went to the wrong house by mistake but I have never had a company so unprofessional to deal with. Beware of this company especially if they claim to have done work while you were not present. I was lucky enough that they did not claim to have done any work and try and bill me.
