Highly recommended. Dr Navin Hukmani the best orthodontist my son and me have met. There staff are amazing and always greeting with a big smile and very professional. Today I had my braces removed and all I did today is smile the rest of the day. My teeth look phenomenal.

Everything went smooth and very professional. My daughter had her braces with Dr.Hukmani  and I have to say that he and his staff are awesome. Almost never any waiting time and the communication between us and Dr.Hukmani was outstanding. He takes his time to explain how every treatment went and what are the next steps are. The whole treatment went exactly as Dr.Hukmani told us in the beginning and the result is outstanding. Our daughter had a severe crossbite and now her teeth are beautiful.

The staff and the way the office is organized is also excellent. Everybody works really efficent, friendly and helpful. There also a wide range of payment options for every possible case. Overall I can really recommend Dr.Hukmani and will definitely take my son there next year.

    Mullen Orthodontics
Very nice office environment and friendly staff.  Appointment times before and after school are hard to get, particularly if you need to re-schedule.  The office staff are very good and knowledgable.  Dr. Mullen appears to run an efficient and competent office.  Always seems to be a clean environment. Not too much communication between Dr. Mullen and the parents, only getting the notes he adds to the patient's file which are sparse.

So even though I had braces as a kid my bottom teeth shifted and were crooked again by the time I was an adult.  They were over crowded and as a result made it really hard to brush/floss them properly.  I was that kid who wore their retainer for a few years and then it disappeared at some point when I was in college and bam my teeth are crooked again.  I wish I was by my childhood orthodontist that I needed to wear the retainer for life.   So I decided I wanted to look into the possibility of doing Invisalign treatment.
What an amazing office!  I started my Invisalign process in May of 2013 with NVO and am so happy that I did.   After getting the pressure from my dentist to do Invisalign at his office and a bad experience at his open house I decided to venture out and get a quote from an orthodontist for Invisalign.  I am so happy that I decided to check NVO based on what others in my community were saying.  First his price was comparable and even slightly better than my dentist.  Second service was amazing.
The office was nothing but professional at every visit.  They were all so sweet even to my kids who came to some of my appointments with me.  They were professional.  I felt like they knew the Invisalign (and orthodontics well) process.  They should know it well since they is really what they specialize in.  When they took the pictures of my teeth at my initial consultation they got the pictures quick and efficiently.
They weren't high pressure at all when it came to signing a contract.  I felt as if I had wanted to walk out of the initial consultation without signing a contract I could have and would not have been harassed about choosing not to sign.   Whenever I needed a copy of my receipt for my flexible spending account they provided one to me by email right away!
When I started treatment I saw results almost right away!  I am so much happier with my new smile.  I still wear my Invisalign trays at night as I have not gotten my retainer yet as I am waiting for completion of the implant that I am having done before getting my retainer.
I also have to say I really like the fact they talk to me like a person....they don't talk at me.  I am so happy I chose NVO for my Invisalign.  I only wish I would have done it sooner!    When the point comes that my kids need braces I plan on bringing them to NVO!   I recommend them hands down!

I am a former patient and had been a patient with the Reeves for over thirty-two years!  Long time right?   Ed Reeves was always fantastic.  However, when his son Ryan came into the practice I began to notice a lot more changes.  They started wanting payment upfront verses submitting out to insurance first.
Ed did a great job with his bedside manner, but Ryan came across as somewhat condescending.   I wasn't able to relate to him at all.   My husband didn't pick up on it but I certainly did.   I also seemed to feel there was some sort of tension between Ryan Reeves and his brother Carter who also worked there.  I can't confirm it...but it was just a feeling that I got from the two brothers.
Prices were high and went up over the years while I was there.  I always had to pay something out of pocket it seems...as one other review has said they feel like they are paying for the fancy furniture in the office.   I would probably agree with that customer as I have now chosen a dentist who gets rave reviews in my area.  He has a basic office.  The furniture is probably on the side of ugly, but I usually walk out of there paying nothing after insurance covers it.
I always felt like I was being upsold on services...and when I declined one Lindsay (hygienist) made me cry about it.
There were issues with one of the office managers (Clay) when he charged my debit card double the price.  I luckily caught that while still in the office...
What eventually made me leave the practice was when I had decided to get Invisalign done.  I went to their open house thinking I was ready to commit as I had already received a quote from them.  When their quote at the open house came in $1600 more than the original quote and when they would not honor it.  I also dealt with the dental hygienists fumbling around trying to get pictures of my teeth for Invisalign.  It was very clear they had not done much of that before...as it was uncomfortable and they couldn't get the pictures right.  I eventually went to a different orthodontist and the assistants got the pictures right within seconds.  After that open house I figured I was more of a dollar sign to them rather than a loyal customer of thirty-two years.  I left the practice and found a dentist and orthodontist closer to my home.  I also took with me my husband (and two kids...who had not been seen by the Reeves yet).  I do not at all regret leaving the practice....I now have a new dentist, orthodontist, oral surgeon (finally got that implant done) and now I wish I had made the switch sooner.

My son had braces installed at Lansdowne Orthodontics and the service has been great for the last two years. The first day we went to the office the personnel explained every little detail to us, the time it will take for my son bracess to be removed and, the cost. The environment in the office is very professional and the punctuality is amazing!
I LOVE this clinic, the personnel and the doctor.  They have been incredible and I will recommend this office to my friends without thinking about it.
    INCREDIBLE!

Have been going to Dr Datta for over 10 years. He has always been great! My wife enjoyed her Invisalign with him. My son enjoys going to the dentist. We have referred him to many friends and family who have always had a great experience.

My daughter has braces that were put on through Dr. Lans' practice. A bracket fell out and needed to be replaced. When I called the practice, they saw me the next day and assured me that this was not an emergency. My daughter was called back almost immediately. Since this happened near to her next maintenance appointment, the orthodontist repaired the bracket and performed the scheduled maintenance. We were out quickly and with no muss or fuss. This is typical for Dr. Lans' practice. My family and I have been going to him for twelve years and have no plans to change. We tried several other local area dentists, which were unsatisfactory for differing reasons. Dr. Lans provides a significantly better overall experience.
Cool features: - Birds  - Treasure chest for the kids (I never have to wrestle my kids into the car when it's going to Dr. Lans) - A gentle touch for the dental-phobic (I fall into that category) - Exceptionally nice staff

    Apt, Dr. Kolman P.
Dr. Apt has done a great job. He has two offices; one in Ashburn and one in Herndon. I go to the Herndon office, but I have been to both. My son will be going there again this month. My older boy had really serious problems with his teeth and jaw. Dr. Apt has an attitude where he treats his patients like they are his own family or children. He is very educated, very professional and very experienced. He oversees the whole thing there. He wanted my child to have an appliance in the mouth. The other orthodontists said that it is a torture mechanism and we dont do that anymore, but Dr. Apt insisted on having that. He also sticks to what he believes will work best regardless of what the current fad is and it just worked beautifully for my son in this case. It really made a big difference. It is called the herbst appliance, which is a metal thing that they have to put underneath the tongue and the back of the mouth. It is necessary during the developmental and growth stage to pull the jaw forward and to improve the bite in the mouth. My older boy really had problems with it, but he stuck with it. It was very important for him because he is a very handsome and aspiring actor. My younger boy took to it right away and didnt have any problems. So it causes problems for some people and will not cause problems for others. My older boy has a smaller mouth, so it was more difficult. My younger boy had a larger mouth, so it was easier for him to adapt to it. In both cases, it really makes a difference in their look. We were told to go to an outside oral surgeon who specified in oral surgery for pulling the wisdom teeth for my older boy and our pediatric dentist pulled the other teeth. Dr. Apt has a website. They have appointment reminders or they e-mail you. So, I really like that. I get an e-mail saying that it is a reminder for my appointment and asking me to confirm. I also get an e-mail saying that it is time to set up an appointment and also asking if they need to call to set up.
