    They are very very nice and I've had no issues with them. I would not go to shop there because they are overloaded with people. It is the best place to go to for bulk toilet paper or diapers. Their price is very reasonable and the way they handle their customers is very professional.

    They've remodeled the whole lobby and they have people in red jackets who'll tell you exactly where to go so your not wandering in the halls. The nurses are friendly, professional and just make you feel comfortable whenever you need any services there.

    Front desk was very informative and professional at all times. While seeing the radiologist who performed the sonogram made the procedure very easy and comfortable. The Doctor who came was very courteous as well providing good information for the pregnancy going forward.

    I have no rule coming one way to the other. They are big company and I do not spend anymore and got truth than what they needed to. I do not want to know and that is where the company is based. Well, I come from the U.K. I find anything to do with medical expenses. It will never be the same because it will go wanted down to the pulling with, it was still replaced.

    Our medical insurance is good at covering routine visits and testing. Typically used for pediatric sick appointments and well checks. I like that flu shots are covered as routine. I am disappointed that they offer no coverage (dental appliances) for bruxism (tooth grinding) even if it's confirmed by a doctor. Night guards are very expensive and without them, jaw and teeth problems result. (Dental insurance does not cover either).

    We elected to stay with Blue Cross Carefirst PPO, even though a bit pricey over other plans. The network coverage is vast and the health care providers we are used to participate. The co-pays were fair and their website is great for checking claims, finding a provider or a facility for what is needed. They offer coverage for a lot of preventive services. One year of going with a money saving HMO and its difficulties (referrals, delays) was enough to send us back to Big Blue. Had just one claims issue which was resolved promptly.

    For the most part, I am fairly pleased with my insurance. I should probably start by saying I'm not very knowledgeable about how the insurance industry works - I get lost in the lingo. This is the only provider offered by my company, so I don't know how they really compare to other providers. I have the BluePreferred PPO plan. I don't find the price to be terrible, and I can mostly understand my bills. I can see whatever specialist I want to, whenever I want to. I usually see practitioners who are within the network.
    I did have an experience with an out of network dentist last year that left me rather disappointed with my coverage. I was suffering from Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) and went to see a dentist that specialized in treating TMJ. The office was very helpful in preparing the forms I needed to submit, and made sure to check with me about whether the treatments should be filed under my dental or medical plans. They provided me a list of questions I should get answered by my insurance company before starting treatment, including a list of diagnoses/treatment codes to see if they were covered by either plan. I found the phone calls to gather this information to be extremely painful (see previous mention of getting lost in the lingo), and ended up calling several times with different answers provided each time. Needing treatment, I finally decided to move forward, not being sure what my coverage was and realizing I may have to pay the ~$5K out of pocket. I kind of figured I'd only be responsible for my deductible, though. Boy was i wrong. I didn't realize that the deductible only covered "allowable" expenses, which are very different than what the dentist actually charged. So...I thought I'd end up paying my $1000 deductible, but my "allowable" expenses didn't even add up to $1000...despite the fact that the dentist charged over $5000 for them. Not a single penny was covered by my insurance.

    I'm having lots of trouble this year with them denying claims and refusing to cover prescription drugs. I'm on the phone to my doctor's office and to the Aetna customer "service" number a lot. Very often, I'm left paying for a few days of my medication out of pocket when I'm left with no other option. I never had to worry about being able to afford health insurance, but with all of these changes, Aetna--and my husband's company-- is certainly making it difficult. I'm still grateful that my husband has a job and that we can afford to pay the costs and get the care we need for now.
