well... i made an appointment with the clinic to discuss having 2 moles removed - i met with the PA, and the initial consult took all of 10 minutes for her to say "let's set an appointment and we'll take care of it no problem" - i asked about insurance, and she said that if insurance does not approve the procedure (she said they should since the lab will send the tissue to pathology), it'll be $250 a few days before my scheduled appt, i get the call to remind me of the appt, and to discuss the cost - turns out my insurance didn't approve, and so she says it'll be "$250 for the consult, and $750 for the procedure"...WHOA...imagine my surprise when i heard that amount - a) didn't we just do a "consult" where a doctor said they can remove the moles?, and b) that seemed a ridiculous price for what she referred to as a minor procedure...i said "please check into the cost if it's only 1 of them", and they said they would call me back i never heard back from them...so i cancelled my appt, and i won't be returning

    Maragh, Dr. Sherry LH.
Before surgery I was afraid that my face would be badly scarred. Underestimated Dr. Maragh's level of perfection because I can't even tell where the surgery was unless I look very closely and no one else can tell at all. She has me come in for skin checks every 6 months to keep any more cancer away. Extremely happy with the level of care. Another time she diagnosed me with shingles, also on my face, and sent me to an ophthalmologist that day who saved the eyesight in my left eye, that had shingles in it. If it wasn't for Dr. Marsh seeing me that day I would be blind in my left eye.

    Otolaryngology Associates Pc
While my medical problem was not resolved I did not return to this practice due to fact of their billing practices.  Medicare was billed double for this visit. Medicare denied the double billing.  Medicare  paid for this visit  according to their contract with Otolaryngology Associates as well as my supplemental insurance carrier, United Healthcare, having paid.   I called their billing department few times to resolve the problem that I was being billing for remaining balance on the account  with no response.  I then wrote a letter to billing department - no response.  I then called and spoke to  billing department manager. She stated she would look into the matter and get back to me - still no response.    I then sent 2 e-mails to billing department manager (with documentation) that I did not owe any balance remaining.    They were trying to collect the remaining balance of what was billed, what Medicare paid and what  United Healthcare paid.  I started receiving  threatening letters that my account was going to be turned over to collection.  On March 24, 2016  I sent a certified, confidential, personal  letter directly to doctor, with copy to the billing department manager, explaining to doctor why  I did not owe any remaining balance to them, questioning why I was double billed initially, that Otollaryngology Associates has a contract with Medicare and that I was appauled that I was sent letters that my account was going to be turned over to a collection agency.  I finally received a response on April 1 by being sent a Patient Transaction Report  with contractual adjustment for the balance and a written note "Sorry".

I was already somewhat unsatisfied with the treatments at this practice, but the main reason why I stopped going to them is because of their shady billing practice. I paid my co-pay during my first visit, but on my second visit they said I had a balance from my previous visit. It had been a few month in between so I paid it because I couldn't remember at the time if I had paid it already or not. Well, the same happened again after my 4th visit where I got a bill for a copay I had already paid. After that I went back through my credit card records and realized that I had indeed paid my copay during each of my visits and they had been double billing me. I tried to get it sorted out over the phone by explaining which dates the payments were posted but they still never got it right. Months later, I had to mail in copies of my credit card statements to prove what I had paid. Only then did they finally adjust my bill, but I got no letter of apology or anything.

Basically they billed for services not rendered i.e. billed for a full office visit which appears to be due to me just asking a question. I also witnessed a receptionist holding a conversation over the phone with someone speaking of a patients medical records. It was not a professional conversation, sounded like a conversation with a friend or a boyfriend. This is a HIPAA violation. We will not be using this office for any future appointments.

It went really well, they did blood tests to try to see where things were perhaps going wrong, and they put me on a few month antibiotic treatment and it had me clear for about a year. Now my acne is back. However, they did not tell me some side affects of some of the pills I was on. So make sure you get all the details from them or do your own research.

    Norvell, Dr. Samuel S
I would recommend him. We have used him since I was younger. He is really great. He has a good bedside manner. He is well respected. My daughter had a worm in her foot and he took care of that where her pediatrician was not able to get rid of it. I just had a lot of good experiences with him for a long period of time. His staffs are very professional and knowledgeable.

Very pleased with this office. They got me an appointment fairly quickly within a few days. I had tow appointment back to back for two of my children. There was very little wait time 10 minutes or so and we did arrive early. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were seen by the np who quickly diagnosed my daughter after asking a few questions and gave us the proper RX. My son was also seen for acne and was given a treatment plan for that as well. I will definitely be using them again.

    Todd, Dr. Michael M
Overall experience was excellent. While i honestly wasn't too sure about what i thought of Dr Todd during the annual exam, my experience during the surgeries was terrific. I was VERY fortunate that he found something i didn't even recognize as an issue and was able to completely excise it thru Mohs surgery.

Office has good availability; able to get in without a wait. I waited a long time in the waiting room. Dr. was very nice; personable. He tried to make me feel at ease. He did not know what was causing my rash. He also seemed to not have closely read my chart because I had to remind him of meds I was on and what types of treatments I have had; all I filled out on the registration forms and updated with the nurse just before he came in. He called in his associate to look at the rash and they talked over me for a while. When the associate left, he seemed to suggest I go off one or more of my meds. I thought that was a little weak as far as a diagnosis and treatment plan.
