So when you leave a car in the hands of someone else for a week as they're transporting it from the west coast to the east coast you want to have as much reassurance as possible. Hilton Auto Transport is the company to move your vehicle. Customer service was on point and it was a no worries experience. Vehicle was picked up at home in California and a delivery location was no more than 5 minutes away from my residence on the east coast. Aside from some extra dust, my vehicle was spotless just as I had left it with them.

  • It could not have gone better. Hilton Auto Transport put me in touch with Ace Auto Transport and they picked up my car around the corner from my house on the date promised and delivered it to my son in California on the date promised. Once the internship ended, Hilton and Ace picked up my car in California and returned it to me, again all on the dates promised. Not only did I receive peace of mind, but the cost was cheaper than me journeying cross country and flying back. I will definitely use both again.

  • The whole process with Executive Auto Shippers was extremely smooth and so pain-free! I was trying to transport our lifted jeep wrangler to Chicago and had no idea what the jeep's specifications were - Cindy at Exec Auto Shippers was extremely patient with me and helped me figure out all of the specs with no issues (I must have talked to her at least 10 times on the phone).  I also had a very specific delivery request for our jeep to be in Chicago (during week days only) and they were able to accommodate my needs easily and with no issues!  Not to mention, the pick up was so quick - the Jeep was picked up the day after I submitted the request so my husband didn't need to rent a car for longer than necessary!

  • The whole process with Executive Auto Shippers was extremely smooth and EASY! I had a really short deadline to transport our car (2 days) and they were able to accommodate my preferred day, so I didn't have to rent a car before my move was complete. When the driver was on his way to pick up our car, he called me with plenty of notice to make sure I was home and was even willing to meet me at a new pick-up location (if necessary). The drop-off was just as easy. I had a request for the car to be delivered only during week days and they were easily able to meet that request. Overall, this was such an easy pain-free process!

  • Kevin Nagel is a life saver!  He didn't really save my life, but he did save my move.  I had arranged my car transport with another transportation broker I found on craigslist four weeks before my move.  The other broker (broker x) gave me an excellent price (in fact, too good).  Broker X assured me it was settled and that my car would be picked up on the morning we agreed upon.  The day before the move, I checked in with broker x and he said he was not able to find a transport service.  I did not know what to do, so I went back to Angie's list and fortunately found Kevin Nagel.  He explained the process to me and I understood that the first person gave me such a low price that no transportation company was willing to pick up my car for that price.  We discussed what a fair price would be and he agreed to help me.  That afternoon he found a ride for my car.  The next day, my car was picked up by a transporter arranged by Kevin - JBird express.  They were excellent - professional, great communication, willing to work with us on the pick-up and delivery locations.  The car was delivered in Utah in the exact same condition as it left Virginia - and during the window in which it was promised.  We couldn't be happier with the entire transaction!

  • The vehicle owner hired The Car Carrier to transport a car from Virginia to California.  They were given my address and they said they would pick up the car on 8/1/13.  I made arrangements with my work to be home during the 5 hour window.  On 7/31/13, The Car Carrier's sub-contractor, Performance Auto Carriers, called to say they would not be able to pick up the car on 8/1/13.  I expressed my disappointment with a less than 18 hour notice.  The sub-contractor then said they would not be able to drive the truck to my house to pick up the car (first time communicated) and that I would have to somehow get the car to them at a nearby Home Depot.  As I have no one to assist me in driving the owner's vehicle the sub-contractor was told them that was not possible.  After some coaching from the vehicle's owner, the sub-contractor agreed to have a taxi pick up the truck driver from Home Depot and take him to my house to drive the car back to the truck.  I was told he would arrive at my house 8/2/13 between 10 - 3pm.  I was not able to take another day away from the office as I had arranged to be home on 8/1/13 (the originally agreed to pick up date).  I asked the sub-contractor to call me at least 30 minutes prior to arrival time so I could be at work until they arrived.



    At 3:30pm I received a call from the driver of the truck saying he would be at my house between 7 - 8pm.  I told him I would not be home at that time and he was expected to arrive between 10 - 3pm.  He said he was in Maryland.  I said, "Not my problem.  You need to be here now as I have to leave my house soon."  I received a call at 5pm from the driver saying he was at Home Depot.  He was expecting me to drive the car to Home Depot.  I said, "You are supposed to take a taxi to the car location."  He knew nothing about it. 



    I called The Car Carrier and spoke to Bob.  He said he would call back.  He did not.  I received another call from the driver.  Then, a call from the sub-contractor's office.  The rude person said I need to go to Home Depot.  I asked if he was the same person who spoke to the vehicle's owner 7/31/13 promising to send a taxi to the driver to come pick up the car.  He said, "There are no taxis that go there."  (I live 15 minutes from an airport).  He began to argue with me.  I told him he needs to talk to Bob.  I called Bob....again.  Bob lied and said he talked to the sub-contractor.  He said he'd call back.  Then, another call from the driver.  And, another call from the rude sub-contractor who then threatened me and threatened he would not pick up the car.  Back to Bob...back to the driver...another call from the sub-contractor..  There were over 10 calls made to me and by me to accomplish a very simple task that is this company's ONLY task - pick up a car and deliver!  At times, I felt like I was the supervisor of these people who had to figure out how to navigate through the process.



    Finally, at 6:30pm the driver drove closer to my house.  I had to drive the car to the driver who then would drive me back to my house.  UNCOMFORTABLE and made me nervous.  When I got to the driver, he didn't know anything about the car or the destination address and told me to enter the information on the Bill of Lading.  I told him I don't have the destination address - um, why don't you?  After completing the form, he told me to sign it and then he signed.  He didn't date his signature so I asked him to do so.  He said he didn't need to....I said....um..yes, you do as the date on this form is the record of you acknowledging what day you picked up the car.



    I called The Car Carrier after I had a very unnerving drive back to my house and spoke to Tom.  Tom apologized for the confusion.  I began to provide feedback, but Tom said he didn't want to hear it.  I said, "If I were an owner of a business, I would want to know how my sub-contractor was doing.  Therefore, I'm providing you feedback." 



    The vehicle owner contacted The Car Carrier the next day to express his concern.  Bob hung up on him.  The vehicle owner called Tom back to express his disappointment with his unprofessionalism.  We can only hope the car actually makes it to its paid for destination.  The owner is VERY concerned about the car and the care of it.



    This company was recommended by Allied Movers.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

  • Called Boris. He picked me up personally from Ashburn, Va to Union Station. Arranged for a 3:30 AM pickup. He was on time, got me there quickly, safely and there were two bottles of water available in a large, comfortable SUV, he allowed me to control the temp in the back, and there were Hershey Kisses available as well. Nice touch. Boris mentioned when dropping me off that morning to not worry about paying until later that night, as he was picking me up at Union Station later that day. He was there when I got back at 5:30 and he drove through pretty thick DC traffic. I fell asleep on the ride back, even. Smooth ride and I would highly recommend his services to anybody wanting reliable, comfortable, fairly priced transportation.
