    Lee Travels
Ms. Lee was extremely professional and responsive, getting back to me very quickly and was very helpful and friendly. I had done some research on flights in advance and all she found for us were the same or better than I had found for myself. I will save myself the trouble next time and just call Ms. Lee.

    Two Marines Moving
I've been very impressed by their team from the first email contact to the final handshake. Everyone was
professional, friendly and articulate. The team excels in customer service, which is rare these days. The estimate and pre-move emails contained a wealth of useful information and every question was answered completely, quickly and courteously The move went smoothly, not a single issue or problem.  The men even helped me move some furniture within my apt. Best of all, the whole
move took just two hours! I would definitely recommend TMM!!!

    Presidential Limousine
I booked Presidential Limo for a birthday winery excursion on the strength of their website (excellent), prices (competitive), and phone charm (Sunny, both in demeanor and in that that was the name of the nice man I talked to). I put down my deposit and hung up the phone with a smile, confident I had made the right decision.
Then I checked online reviews and proceeded to shoot myself.* Based on some other reviews here, I was confident that I had doomed my friends to an experience that was at best good "for the story." We are all in our early 30's, btw. We no longer enjoy doing things "for the story." Our story is that we like having nice experiences and then going to bed early.
What a surprise it was, therefore, to have...a thoroughly enjoyable experience?! Our driver, Max, was courteous, friendly, and bang on time. The limo was new and in great shape. We enjoyed our ride to and from Boxwood Winery in Middleburg, drinking the whole time and singing 90's classics, and Max humored us with utmost class. Thanks to traffic, we returned 15 minutes late to our destination, but Presidential didn't charge us any overtime.
    Would book again!

The driver Mo was the best. So polite, thoughtful and fun. Always right there when we were coming out of our room wine tasting. We will definitely use them for our daughters wedding. This company is perfect.

    Culdesac Chauffeur Service
I was moving from VA to NY and rather than deal with I-95 traffic I decided to hire a car service. All the companies I called were around the same price. But, I am so glad I went with Culdesac Chauffeur Service. From the first outreach online to the driver's pick-up they were superb. In fact it's a shoutout SUPERB. There is so much stress in moving, and with other services one would need a car service, and dealing with Culdesac was five star all the way.
Sammy on the phone was professional, organized and fulfilled all the promises including a confirmation phone call the day before. E-mails were clear, well laid out and detailed all the components of the price. It also included the name of the driver and license plate of the car so you know you're getting into the right one.
The driver was extremely polite and drove safely with all those huge trucks barreling by. We arrived in New York right on schedule and instead of being a nervous wreck it was a very calm person who waited for the movers.
Thank you Culdesac for making this long drive so smooth, safe and relaxing. You truly are golden in my book.

    Travel Escapes
Our trip to Amsterdam and to the Orkney Islands in northern Scotland was tremendous fun and a great learning experience, but not without some adventure.  We lost a wallet on the second day in Amsterdam and the travel insurer, our financial institutions and the
hotel helped to manage credit card security and replacement and cash management, working with folks across US and European time zones.  We dropped another wallet in the security line on the last day in Scotland but that was easily fixed by the friendly folks at Kirkwall Airport Management and  Security and the Royal Mail.  Everything else went very right, as planned by Marcia Shaw at Travel Escapes!

Marcia got us excellent savings on Business Class  on Delta/KLM flights and on our accommodations [The NH Amsterdam City Centre, The Orkney Hotel, the Ferry Inn and the Hilton Schiphol Hotel]. Transferring among hotels was virtually seamless. Our flights to, from and within Scotland on Flybe Airline, were timed to avoid rushing and panic, Our hotels were excellent, and ready for us, The rooms were comfortable and the staff and management very helpful.

Marcia got us advanced tickets to  the Van Gogh Museum and canal tours. In Amsterdam to avoid long lines.  She provided us with advanced tickets to many important local sights and tours throughout that beautiful and diverse city.  We had good to great weather for our week in Amsterdam and enjoyed the busy summer days, and cool summer nights, along with the daily ballet-like movement of traffic and canal boats through the city.

Our flights to  and from Kirkwall, were by small comfortable turbojets. I must say candidly that I've never heard anyone say they wenr to
the Orkney Islands for the weather, but the tours team that Marcia set up for our 2 weeks on the islands:Lorna Brown,of See Orkney,
Kinlay Francis of Orkney Uncovered and Frank Gaertner ( and family) of OdIn Tours, more than made up for any cloudy skies or mists, with their knowledge and hospitality. We enjoyed fully supported tours of the virtually all the great tombs, ceremonial sites, monuments and ancient communities the Orkneys have to offer, even some that are still active "dig" sites.  As we has requested, we also saw plenty of wildlife [puffins, multiple kinds of seals, hares, and many varieties of birds.etc,]. On a daily basis, we indulged shamelessly in the many varieties of delicious Orkadian foods and drinks. The islands are justly famous for their fresh seafood dishes, as well as wonderful local beef, lamb, and cheeses and several long established craft ales.   In the "off" days that Marcia planned for us, we wandered the two "larger" cites [Kirkwall and Stromness[ on our own and enjoyed their museums, shops and restaurants and historical sites.

We are grateful to Marcia Shaw and Travel Escapes for a truly memorable travel experience.

The service was on time; no delays to airport.  They helped with your bags and check in asked when we would return and would be at the airport when we arrived.  They were at the airport to met us on time with no  problems. Overall Excellent service

    Universal Bus Charter
Perhaps (clearly) we should have been more skeptical at the price which was about half of the providers we had heard of (Chariots for Hire for example) but we were optimistic.  After all, how hard can it be to have a big van drive a bunch of reasonable adults to a vineyard and then back home?
Reserving the bus went without a hitch. We reserved a large bus (It was a 25 person bus, we had 16 people total). We reconfirmed the day before the trip (Saturday) and were told that all was good.
Morning of the trip came and our pickup time of 11:30 came and went, so we called the main number and told them our driver hadn't arrived. The answer we got was along the lines of "oh, he's not there yet? Let me try to track him down and call you back". By about 1145 (with our 15 friends waiting and wondering in a parking lot) we called again, this time getting a story about how the driver had totally lost track of time and that he was having personal issues, and would not be able to take us, and that the manager would be trying to find us another driver asap".
Needless to say, this was not what we were looking for. We started looking around to see if renting our own van would be a solution, and another 15 minutes passed. We called back again to check in and were told that they were sending another driver who would be here by 1230. It occurred to us a few minutes later to call and ask for the driver's contact information so we could communicate directly with him, but when we called, the guy who answered (who said he was the manager) wouldn't or couldn't give it to us and was very confused and hurt (I kid you not) that we expected him to know where his employee was. His exact words were "why do you expect ME to know where my drivers are all the time?" My reply was that since he was the manager, it seemed to me that it was his job to ensure that his buses made it to the place and time they were expected. He informed me that he was busy driving another bus right then so it was hard for him to devote time to finding us a driver. He didn't understand why this was not an acceptable answer.
We called back AGAIN when 1230 came and went with no word from them and it was clear they were still looking for a driver and didn't have one to send yet. We informed them that we didn't want to go anymore if it was going to be another 30 minutes (which would have put us 1 1/2 hours behind schedule) and he seemed genuinely surprised and said he would keep looking, but a driver never came. It goes without saying that we will never, and recommend no one else ever do business with this company. Unfortunately they seem to change names so it may be hard for people to know if they were dealing with these same idiots, so my best advice is, you get what you pay for sometimes.

First, we had a limo pick up two elderly guests from BWI the night before the wedding. The driver arrived on time, met them at the baggage claim, and transported them to the DC hotel where we were all staying. On the day of the wedding, we had a stretch Hummer limo to transport the wedding party, and a 30-person mini coach to transport guests. The vehicles arrived on time without any problem. We even had to call for the limo to arrive early at the last minute, but Skyhawk got the Hummer to the hotel on time. The limo brought the wedding party from the hotel to the church, and the church to the reception, as did the mini coach for the guests. All the timing worked out perfectly. The limo driver was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The only issue was the mini coach driver. He was not particularly pleasant, nor did he seem to have received the directions on getting from place to place, but in the end, we all got where we needed, and the day was a success. Skyhawk did an excellent job on a day with many requirements, and got the wedding party, the guests, and most importantly, the bride and groom where they needed to be when they needed to be there. I would recommend them to anyone. BTW, Safi in the main office, is a true professional.

    Baldwin Travel,LLC
I was starting to plan a family trip in Nov 2013 to celebrate my parents' 70th birthdays and quickly realized I needed help zeroing in on a location and with the logistics.  I was referred to Cindy by one of her colleagues I found on Angie's List who was about to go on maternity leave.  Cindy responded to my email within 24 hours with the suggestion of an all-inclusive resort in Mexico.  After clarifying our specifications, she sent me some interesting options to consider in a few different locations in Mexico.  I really liked how she included in her email representative pictures of the resorts, along with a few paragraphs descriptions and pricing.
Then the holidays rolled around and it took me until Feb 2014 to get back to her.  By that point my family had a better idea of what we were looking for in terms of dates, budget and location so I could give Cindy better direction.  Ultimately, with Cindy's guidance, we ended up at the Iberostar Playa Mita in P**** Mita (north of Puerto Vallarta).  It was an amazing trip and the property was awesome - a brand new all-inclusive resort that just opened in December 2013.  I would never have found the place if it weren't for Cindy, and it was fantastic to have her help setting up all the logistics including booking 3 separate rooms at the resort, flights for 6 people from three different airports, the transfers from the airport to the hotel, plus lots of questions I had about travel insurance, tipping, etc.  Everything went very smoothly, thanks in very large part to Cindy's work on the trip!
Things I especially appreciated about working with Cindy on this trip:
    1. Responsiveness - she always replied very promptly to my emails and phone calls
    2. Local Knowledge - she knows a lot about Mexico (and other travel destinations) and has great local contacts to facilitate travel planning
    3. Attention to Detail - she did a great job of coordinating some complex logistics with all of our different travelers and it all went off without a hitch; also as noted above, I really appreciated all the details and commentary she included on the different location and property options to help me get a better idea of what they would be like.
    4. Flexibility - she "rolled with the punches" as we changed date and location preferences, identified new requirements, etc. - was extremely accommodating and always more than willing to help us get what we needed
(Also worth noting that all this great service came at zero cost to me!  I didn't realize this at first, but Cindy explained that travel consultants get paid by the suppliers rather than the travelers.)
