    DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM! I contacted SA Appliance Repair around Sept 15, 2018 for a faulty microwave. They came to my house on Sept 20, 2018 to replace the megatron (for $225) and it all seemed to be working fine. The technician seemed knowledgeable and polite, and told me that the work had a 30 day warranty, so I could call back if there was a problem. A couple of weeks later (Oct 13, 2018), the microwave malfunctioned again, same exact problem as before. I called SA Appliance and nobody answered. Both my husband and I have called a dozen times, left several messages, and nobody answers nor returns our phone calls. I've also reached out via email (fixappliance@hotmail.com) and there was no reply - the email was undeliverable because the mailbox doesn't exist. A total disappointment. These people are a total scam.

    I have a dishwasher covered under warranty thru Sears. I have called sears and used my warranty several times over the years without trouble. Until now! I called my Sears warranty number (very helpful). Sears has contract agreements with various repair companies. This time they sent out NE Development between hours of 2-5. The repairman AJ showed up at 7:30pm which I was happy he came and impressed with his commitment. He took my dishwasher apart, said he needed to order some parts and he would call me to schedule another appointment when parts came in. 2 weeks later when I had not heard from him I called the cell number sears gave me, he gave me and is the main number for the company. He answered the phone, I reminded him who I was and HE HUNG UP ON ME! I txted him and asked him to let me know if I misunderstood and needed to call sears. He immediately called my home number and when I answered HE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! So, I called sears and his paper work order said I had cancelled the appointment and he never came to my house. Not sure why he would do this but I would not recommend this company or person to anyone.

    Everything went very well. They took the old blower fan motor with them to find a replacement and came back in a timely manner with the new fan motor. They also installed 2 new light fixtures in the bathroom. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers.

    I noticed water under my fridge yesterday evening. Called Expert Appliance Services at 8am this morning. Was told they could have someone out to my house between Noon-3pm. I received a call around 11am informing me that the tech could be at my house in 30 minutes, which was great. I met him 30 minutes later (beat me to my house). I had given the model number over the phone, so he had all the parts on him. Two parts needed to be replaced. Job was done in less than 30 minutes. Tech couldn't of been nicer. Pricing was extremely fair and I used a coupon from a previous invoice. I highly recommend.

    The tech that came to our home to diagnose are issue was very good - was only one to diagnose the problem with our cooktop. The issue we had is with the receptionist - she is incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive. I called to book the service after they were out and mentioned the internet special. She indicated to me that the price she quoted included that special and would not offer any additional off but would call me back that afternoon with the final quote and we could get the parts ordered and service after parts arrived. She did not call back and when we called and talked to her the next day she claimed the tech was now out of the country for the rest of the year. I am not a review writer typically but this was one of the worst customer service we have received. Something seems a bit off with how she runs the business.

    I can't give a review based on service as they were a no show. I spoke with someone and said i had a simple issue with my dishwasher and they said they could schedule me in 4 days. That seemed odd that there were no weekend apts. I also should have been concerned that all they asked for was my address and phone number. I asked if they needed any more information and they said no. Fast-forward to today where i took a half day to be available for the repair man and no one showed up during the 3-5pm time window. I finally called at 5 and the same person i spoke to(pretty sure it was the same person) first said i didn't have an apt scheduled and when i pressed him he claimed that i had claimed that I said I would call back. I never staid that as i wanted this simple issue fixed as quickly as possible. I repeated out conversation almost verbatim and he still claimed that it was my fault the apt wasn't confirmed.  They need a better system to schedule and confirm apts. Perhaps an email confirmation would be helpful for both parties. So now i need to find someone to fix what should have already been fixed before thanksgiving.

    Asif was very responsive, professional and courteous.
    He understood my time pressure. While at first he didn't have an opening on the days of my preference, he got back to me as soon as his schedule changed and was able to visit sooner. He was timely, respectful of our place and belongings and took the time to explain what he was doing and what the issue and repair were.
    I was particularly happy with the special deal offer.  
    Will definitely recommend Asif and hire him again for future home appliance repairs.

    Luisa Berry responded quickly to our initial request for an estimate. She came out and measured, gave great advice and recommendations.  We visited their showroom and met with Manager, Osman Cam.  He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.  After we made some preliminary selections of cabinets, granite, tile flooring, shower systems, etc. we quickly received the estimate.

    We had selected two additional contractors for comparison.  All three responded quickly and prices varied somewhat.  GBC's cost estimate was not the lowest and not the highest, but we liked the responsiveness and knowledgeable information that we received during our initial contact with Luisa and Osman.

    The Bathroom project was scheduled to start on May 25 and began on schedule.   Miguel and Roberto did the demolition,  setting up dust protection material, covering floors, walls, and doors.  We had moved furniture out of harms way and covered it with plastic drop cloths (highly recommended.)

    Then they began removing the old wall tile, floor tile, and existing window inside our tub/shower area.   They also removed the old tub since we were replacing it with a walk-in shower.   Plumbing and electrical work followed and the window was expertly bricked up by a brick mason, matching out existing brick and mortar.

    The floor tile was laid and covered with a protective mat.  The biggest part of the bathroom project was installing the shower plumbing and constructing the shower system, including the floor preparation and full tiling, floor to ceiling, adding two shower niches, grab bars and a built-in shower bench.

    This project all went well, with a few glitches. The electrician initially installed the light too high, but Luisa quickly saw that it was moved it down to the desired location.  I would say the biggest glitch was the wrong marble sent for the bathroom vanity by the fabricator.  Osman went to great lengths to remedy that problem, sending us to another fabricator and even meeting us there.  We eventually found exactly what we were looking for.


    The kitchen project started a week later than scheduled due to having to re-order one of the cabinets.  They had to remove the old cabinets, take out flooring, raise the microwave, including raising the outside vent, add several new dedicated outlets and install recessed ceiling lights.  This project went well with the exception again of an error by the fabricator.  The first granite slab that we selected was not picked up by the fabricator and we had to find another slab that we liked - which was not an easy task.  Again - Osman went to great lengths to help us find the slab we wanted.  After making a decision on the slab - they even drove the slab to our house for inspection and for us to lay out the areas to be cut for our two counters.  Minor glitches were quickly fixed.  Luisa responded positively and immediately to every problem that we incurred, such as re-buffing an area on the granite that was a little dull, replacing backsplash trim that we didn't like.  No matter what problem arose, they quickly fixed it.

    I highly recommend GBC for kitchen and bath projects.  Miguel is a real perfectionist and does great work.  Except for the electrical and brickwork, he did most of the project himself, with his bother Roberto.

    They determined that fixing the problem required parts from the factory, and 2 or 3 people to fix, due to my machine being a stacked unit, with an estimated cost of $300 to install.  The service technician said they would call me shortly to schedule an install.  Several days passed with no call.  I called the main number and spoke to Jon.  Jon got in touch with the service tech and then told me it would take 7 to 10 days to order the parts.  I agreed to this.  After 10 days Jon did call back to schedule the repair.  The same service technician that diagnosed the machine came to do the repair alone.  After taking the front off the washing machine he determined he could not complete the work alone (which he had mentioned on his first visit) and told me he would have to reschedule.  He told me they would call either the next day or the day after that.  No call.  After 3 days I call the main number and leave a message, then I send an e-mail too.  I call again and get through to Jon, who tells me he will work with the service tech to schedule the visit.  Instead of calling back Jon answers my e-mail and tells me "I am sorry this is a very busy time of year for us.  We don't have a three man team available for the foreseeable future.   You might try with another repair company.".  This is disturbing considering they kept claiming they would do the work, even when I was on the phone with Jon.  Since they didn't want to do the work I asked if I could buy the parts, since they already ordered them.  They told me they don't sell parts directly to customers.  So I paid 65 dollars to have them tell me my washing machine needs new parts.
