    MacDonald Eye Care PLLC
Dr. MacDonald gave me the most thorough exam that I have ever received from a optometrist. For example, she has a device that can take a photograph of the back of your eye, which provides information about the overall health of your eye. I was very impressed by her and her staff. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Her office is bright and contemporary and her staff friendly and very helpful.

    Lobaugh, Dr. Elizabeth A.
I was seeing another eye doctor but due to availability, I went to see Dr. Lobaugh. What a great decision. My issue was not that common but she had recently learned more about this specific condition and was able to identify it almost immediately and create a treatment plan. She was almost as excited as I was to find an answer. She is very personable and I plan to continue seeing her.

I have a family history of eye disease and hadn't gotten checked in several years. I was unhappy with my previous ophthalmologist because of poor attitudes, unfriendliness, and seeming not to care about discomfort they were causing me. The practice is the opposite. Ferdinand, the technician, was super polite and explained everything he was doing. Dr. Shah took my concerns seriously and explained the results of her exam in language I could understand. Everyone I encountered in the office was professional and also personable, making me feel very comfortable.

    Capital Eye Consultants PC
I am having a cataract surgery next week at Capital Eye Consultants. The last visit was 2 weeks ago and I have surgery next week and so I will see them again. It is fabulous. I have to have my left eye done. To other Angie's List members I would say go to him for any complex eye problems. I have had cataract surgery but they do Macular degeneration and they do dry eyes. They do everything and that is good. Only if it is complex eye problems not just getting eye glasses like surgery and they do the very complex procedures. I give an 'A' for everything except that the office staff is a little bit disorganized so I give that a 'B'. The doctors are all very friendly. The staff was not that bad but for a very professional group, I was a little surprised.

I went for new glasses and for an eye examination from Dr. Ellis whose optomitry practice is at Point of View..  He is unbelieveable!!  He informed me that my cataracts which I knew I had were becoming a problem that needed care.  He also found a hole in the retina of my left eye.  He advised immediate action and helped me set up an appointment the next morning with the Retina Group of Washington.  The tear was immediately repaired with laser surgery.  He also set up an appointment with The Capital Eye Consultants where I went in two weeks for a 3 hour consultation and scheduled cataract surgery for both eyes, the right first.  That was totally successful.  Dr. Ellis called me frequently to make sure my appointments had been successful and if I had any problems or concerns.  So back to Mr. Mueller, I felt bad because I didn't order new glasses because the cataracts needed more than just glasses.  However, as mentioned, I have been going to Point of View for many years and would never go to any other eyeglass establishment.  Bill Mueller is one of the niccest people you will ever meet and he is professionally heads and shoulders above anyone else.  If there is ever any need for adjustments or changes, he will see you immediately and take care of the problem.  I always enjoy talking with him because I always learn more about eyecare.

I was totally satisfied with my experience.  No one in that office could have possibly been any nicer and welcoming than they were.  I believe that I got an excellent examine and evaluation.  They were very patient with me as I chose my new frames and the lens were very well made.  I will definitely go back when its time for another check up.  They were awesome, from the minute I first walked in until the minute I walked out after picking up my new glasses.  I highly recommend them.

The service went very well.  They took their time helping him with them.  They were very encouraging.  The doctors are very friendly and they answer all your questions.  They make sure to give you all the discounts they can.  They help you get the best price.  They do get a little busy but they work with you.  No wait time most of the time.

I had wonderful experience overall.  Dr. Perry and his staff are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable.  Dr. Perry is a true professional.  He clearly loves what he does and provided the most comprehensive, thoughtful optometry exam I have ever had.  I knew something was different when I had my blood pressure taken at the start of the visit.  I have a complicated eye history with previous injuries and surgeries; this was not a problem for Dr. Perry or his staff.  My new contact lenses fit well and have not been as irritating as others have been.  I will certainly return, and I'll likely take my kids here later if they ever need eye exams.

    MacDonald Eye Care PLLC
The appointment was easy to make, although she was not available for 2 weeks at a time that was not in the middle of the work day. The receptionist was extremely helpful in setting up my insurance - she even told me that I get $100 a year towards a pair of glasses, which I did not know. I also had a sty on my eye, which Dr. Macdonald checked out and eased my worries.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaye for five years due to a family history of glaucoma and higher-than-normal eye pressure. The exams are extremely thorough and I have no doubt that any change for the worse will be detected (and if you want to have confidence in anyone, it'd better be someone who is looking after your vision!). I am impressed with the staff members who administer the exams, which tend to be tedious, time-consuming, not much fun and make people cranky, yet the techs are invariably cheerful and pleasant. My only slight reservation about the practice is minor: sometimes there are so many folks lined up for exams that there isn't quite enough space and you feel a bit as though you are sitting in someone's lap. My understanding is that the practice is planning to expand into the adjacent office space so this issue may disappear in future.
