The front-deal staff (the phone answerers) are nasty and obnoxious. Here's an example: On my first appointment, I asked if the doctor was running late. The woman's reply: "I don't know." Not "I don't know; let me check." Just "I don't know." Full stop. I tried complaining, but nothing seems to have changed. The last straw came recently when I called to schedule an appointment. My doctor was unavailable for several weeks, so I was offered a different doctor. I tried looking her up on GIMG's website, but she's not there, at which point the phone answerer laughed and yelled at me. I asked to speak with the office manager; in return, the phone answerer hung up on me.

Great. I simply cut and pasted another review, Hope no copyright issue, but let me doctor it a bit He is a very comfortable person to be with, and he has a lot of common sense. eg he is a real person who happens to be a doctor. which reminds me, i think i will send him a gift!

I have hypogammaglobulinanemia (I'm on IVIG treatments once a month) which I listed in my history. I'm being treated for by my oncologist. I decided to write my experience because my symptoms are worsening and I am losing motor function in my hands, facial expression, and have sharp pain and achey joints. It's terrible to be dismissed by a doctor because my clinical presentation did not appear to fit into the cookie cutter criteria diagnostics. I would say the appointment took no more than 10 minutes. No other referrals or differential diagnosis were discussed. Since the visit I went back to my internist and she has treated me with Plaquinil and Methotrexate, and my symptoms started to improve. I really am willing to forgo a bed side manner for a good diagnostician that listens. I did not find the right Rheumatologist here, wish I did. I believe if I had been listened to the outcome would have been much different. My oncologist still wants me to find a good rheumatologist, which he admits is not easy to find in this area.

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor -- he was excellent both in terms of his treatment and his bedside manner. He referred me to a great physical therapist, too, one suited to my need exactly.

Dr. Gallagher is smart, capable and clearly well intentioned. She is also severely overworked and seems to have a lot of trouble retaining staff and maintaining records. It is unsettling to see ads for Botox everywhere in an office that presents itself as focused on treating families, especially children. I found that she did not read records before an appointment, skimming them in my presence and often missing important facts. (At times I wondered whether she had taken accurate notes in earlier years given her shaky grasp of my history.) Her nursing aides changed from year to year and varied widely in their ability to communicate and deal effectively with patients. The front office staff is disorganized, overworked and often quite rude. In a small office it simply isn't acceptable for a receptionist to shut down requests for information by saying "That's not my job, you'll have to call later to find the person who is responsible for that issue."

I have been seeing Dr. Winterling for years for routine care and now for prenatal care during my first pregnancy. She is very straightforward and great about answering questions in a detailed but easy to understand way. The only nuisance is sometimes delays in being able to schedule appointments and long waiting room times as the practice is quite busy. But I just try to schedule earlier morning appointments before they get behind.

Wonderful. She is very patient, thorough and compassionate. I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Sitzmann at her previous practice. I have followed her to her current practice because she is a rare find. Her passions for practicing high quality medicine and connecting with patients are clear. When so many of our interactions with professionals are transactional its refreshing to connect with someone around such an important aspect of life - health. I couldn't be happier.

Let me first say I can't believe I'm actually writing this review. I've attempted multiple times to resolve this issue and like another review, I too was abruptly referred to a separate billing company. Four months later and several calls later, I'm being referred to a collections agency and I still can't get the GIMG to help me. While the office staff is ok in person and Dr. Zweig can be exceptional, my troubles with Tara Robertson and the billing/insurance staff have been inexcusable. They will not return calls, they are rude to the point of not even being able to hear what is being said to them, and no matter what they say, they will not followup. I've wasted hours trying to resolve this situation and I am paid by the hour. Now I have my credit threatened, have lost hours of work, am spending additional money to try to resolve the matter, and have nothing to show but a heightened level of stress because this can actually jeopardize my job, as my company does random credit checks. Save yourself the grief and go elsewhere! After six years, I will be.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mary Major since 1975. She is super. She listens, attends to all the necessary details, and takes time to work out a approach to your concern or condition. The part of the practice that makes this group really special is Doctor Call Time. Between 8:00 and 8:45 every weekday morning you may call the office and talk to your doctor. Ask any question you like. You can discuss you concern or condition and together decide if you should be seen. If necessary they will arrange a visit that day. This level of access is unique in my experience and more valuable that I can express.
