    Moss Building & Design
We popped the roof on our cape cod style home and added three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and renovated the kitchen. We interviewed about 6 contractors for the job and cost wise Moss landed somewhere in the middle. We were impressed by their honesty in where our money should be spent and their ability to negotiated with us to ensure we were able to achieve our dream home within our budget. Not to say that things don't go wrong during a renovation. If you're planning on a project and expect it always to run smoothly, you're kidding yourself. This project ran as smooth as the best of them! Moss's ability to resolve issues quickly and tackle things confirmed we made the correct choice in having them work on our project. The design team was wonderful to work with! Chris, our architect managed to get everything we wanted into our square footage. Molly our AMAZING interior designer is so much fun to work with and comes up with wonderful designs and solutions. The design is exactly our taste and we love it! The project team is also wonderful! John, our project manager pushed things along throughout the entire project, and got it done in record time - ahead of schedule and on budget. He is absolutely FANTASTIC to work with and is patient, kind and respected by his team. He can always find a solution to anything and everything that comes up! Dave, our program manager... also awesome. Always there when we needed him! Lio and Rob the handymen extraordinaire... I don't even think handymen is the right way to describe them. They truly are able to tackle anything with high quality finishes and attention to details. This team all be came part of our family during the process and we miss them already! Moss, if you're reading this, they all deserve BIG FAT RAISES AND BONUSES!!!

    WaterStone Kitchen and Bath
I am 70 years old, and a homeowner of many years, and have contracted with numerous home improvement companies during that time. I was extremely fortunate to learn of Walter Stone Kitchen and Bath, and their representative, who came very highly recommended, from my interior designer. From start to completion I can state that I have never dealt with a more professional home improvement company. Their representative listened carefully to our wish list, and clearly explained how we could proceed, while offering possible options for our consideration. My wife and I decided to proceed, and within a few days we received a professionally detailed contract. Soon after accepting the contract work commenced. the tradespeople arrived early and on time throughout the project. They were highly skilled, worked full days, and cleaned the work area each evening before leaving. They always made time to answer any questions presented, and respond to any changes or additional work requested. During the construction their representative stayed in contact with us regularly. The aspect of having very good communication was critically important to my wife and myself. We absolutely love the final results, and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a home improvement project.

    Decorating Spaces
Freda has now helped me pick paint colors and furniture for two houses. It is so daunting to decorate a new house, especially when you don't know what you are doing. Freda makes it easy. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

    The Carpet Yard
In both cases, the projects went well. The Carpet Yard staff was well informed, professional, and worked hard to come up with carpet choices meeting my requirements. Also, in both cases the Carpet Yard estimates were within my insurance company's guidelines for installation of new carpets in similar circumstances. Finally, having worked with other carpet installers whose work was less than careful, I appreciated that Carpet Yard did a neat, professional job in both cases, with no damage to my walls or other furnishings. When another water incursion damaged a carpet this August (2018), I went to Carpet Yard and received excellent service from Tim in providing me with numerous samples and help in selecting an appropriate replacement carpet. We ended up not using Carpet Yard in this case, because the damage to my condo was ultimately covered by the contractor whose work in another condo unit caused the damage, and he preferred to use his own carpet person. The service I received from Carpet Yard, however, was reliable and highly professional, as in the past.

    Boss Design Center
Boss Design went above and beyond on our kitchen project. Our designer, Talha, was great at providing guidance and suggestions but also listening to us. We like having one project manager, Taha, who was always on top of everything. It was important that we have good, regular communication, a clear idea of the costs, and a clean project site and this team excelled at all of these. We were also impressed with the different crews who worked on the kitchen. They have all been with Boss Design for years and were so polite and professional; I was comfortable giving them access to my home. We plan to use Boss Design next year to remodel our bathroom and weve recommended them to friends

I could not be more pleased with the design of our new kitchen! Talha was able to recognize my style and design a kitchen that was functional, stylish and fit our needs. The two-leveled island is perfect for entertaining and food preparation. The choice of colors and materials created a warm, inviting kitchen perfect for family gatherings, conversations, and entertaining!

Sean was an instrumental help to us when we remodeled our kitchen. He is a master at listening to the client and delivering their vision. His guidance with every aspect of the project made our dream kitchen come true. From color choices to beautiful cabinets (in our price range) to accessorizing and placing the cabinet drawer handles "in just the right position", every question was answered with care and respect for us. He was absolutely the BEST decision we made for our kitchen.

    Boss Design Center
Hiring a professional for a remodeling job was a first for my husband and me - we had always done everything ourselves. From the beginning Talha walked us through every piece of the project, making suggestions to keep us within our budget, suggesting new ideas we hadn't considered to make the most of our small kitchen space, and opening up his studio to us any time we needed a second look at materials or had additional questions. The project was completed on time and within our budget. We love our new kitchen. I have and will continue to recommend Talha and his team to anyone who is considering a new or remodeling project - it was a wonderful experience for us!

    Boss Design Center
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean & all of the great folks at Boss Design! We started with a tired, dark 1958 galley kitchen & an awkward living space, and now we have the open-concept home of our dreams! I knew I wanted to take down two walls, but I couldn't see how it could work -- fortunately, the Boss Design pros have the vision I don't. Sean helped us really put together a design that is perfect for us -- he has such a great eye for style and colors and everything! I still can't decide what my favorite feature is: the gorgeous stone fireplace, the amazing, enormous windows, the beautiful reclaimed barn wood we used for special features, the shiplap, the brick backsplash, the huge, spectacular island with a butcher block baking station at the end, or even the dog-feeding station built into the end of it! It's awesome -- thank you soooooooooo much, Sean!!! Quality is critical. I think this is a great example of our experience: we relocated a door, and new cabinets went in on each side of it. But the carpenter noticed that the door was not perfectly centered in that space, so he tore it out, moved the whole door frame and everything (a big job, really) over to the left 3/4" to make it perfect. I've got to be honest -- it's a door leading to the garage, and I never would have noticed this. But I love that he noticed & it mattered to him to have it just perfect. (Thank you, Gilmer!) But the best part, honestly, was how every single person from Boss Design was just SO NICE!!! They really went above and beyond to help us, even with a million big & little things they really didn't have to do. It's just a pleasure to work with such kind people!!! (We miss you, Juan!) I was looking for a company that could do it all, because we are a busy family with kids & pets and I just couldn't deal with managing a bunch of different contractors: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc. With Boss Design, I didn't have to. They managed everything, and exceeded my expectations in every way.

Michael Nash Design Build & Homes
Michael Nash significantly improved the curb appeal of our townhouse, the front and garage entrance foyers, and increased our enjoyment of our front patio by installing the lighting in a way that we could easily make use of smart home technology. Before the work began, we only had a small porch light by the front door and a battery-powered doorbell. Michael Nashs lighting plan included replacement of the small single door light with two larger lights and the addition of two smaller lights flanking the entrance gate, another eight lights flanking the entryway and main patio, and LED light strings that were installed under the top edge of the patios brick wall. They also installed three new weather-protected electric outlets and installed wiring for a new power-based doorbell (to provide greater flexibility when we upgrade to a smart video doorbell in the future). The project also included the addition of a motion-sensor-based lighting (in the patio and next to the garage). In addition, in the front and garage entryway foyers, Michael Nash removed the aged slate and installed beautiful stone-looking tiles with a heating unit underneath The installation process went well. The crews did excellent work, were unfailingly polite and accommodating, and kept the work sites clean. Michael Nash was also incredibly flexible in scheduling a crew on short notice to run the wiring underground when a local bricklayer with whom we had contracted suddenly accelerated his start date. The end result, as our neighbors have commented, is improved curb appeal and a great first impression when entering the townhouse. For us, the best feature is our ability to use smart home technology to control (and dim) all of the lighting from our phones without leaving the patio (especially useful when we are eating dinner in the patio and the timed motion sensor light suddenly becomes active). Moreover, with dimmer and timing flexibility, we can also set the mood and even control our Christmas decorations. No matter what type of remodeling you have in mind, I can confidently recommend Michael Nash to provide excellent design advice and a high quality product.
